I want to talk about violence, specifically emotional violence. Trigger warning: In this episode, I will talk about and give examples of violence, especially as experienced as young people, and I am aware that any conversation around this particular topic has triggering effects and so it is completely alright if you decide to not listen to this episode.

It's been a busy few weeks since the last episode. Life has been great, hiccups here and there but progress is happening, yeay! We got very comfortable talking through telling our parents we were pregnant, our relationships with our "Baby Daddies" and finally what to do to heal and move on, and especially put ourselves first for the sake of our kids and our mental health. I finally moved out of my Mother's house...like properly moving out, not a temporary move.

From the Eviction Notice 2 years ago, to the Resignation Letter this year, it has been one hell of an Adulting ride. And now we start over, again.

Shall we talk about what your sex life looks like as you move from your early to mid to late twenties? What does navigating your sex like look like as a Young Adult?

My Valentine’s day message to you. A little self-love every day goes a long way. Take this year, being the year of change and reflection, as the moment you do some reflection on the relationship with yourself and assess how much you invest in yourself, and measure it against how much you invest in others- could be partners or friends. And if your investments in others in more than what you put into yourself, it’s time to reflect and reevaluate and maybe choose to prioritize yourself a little more.
