Opening Day in Major League Baseball was once seemingly a national holiday.  Baseball these days does not resonate nationally like it once did, however from coast to coast Opening Day still does have some shine to it. Defo and Lubie come to you from South Florida where Opening Day is non-existent but that doesn't mean it means any less to them.  They remember what Opening Day once was and what it could be today. Plus it is the opening of the Sweet 16 for the Men's NCAA Tournament.  They give a couple of their favorite plays for the 4 game card. #openingday #baseball #sweet16 #marchmadness #ncaatournament
March Madness through 2 rounds of Men's NCAA Tournament action has lived up to the billing.  The first round was riddled with upsets, however the second round went much more true to form. Defo and Lubie talked about unlike in recent years, the Sweet 16 feels much more full of blue bloods than Cinderellas?! NC State continues it is absurd run into the 16's, but others like Oakland, Grand Canyon, Duquesne, and Yale say good-bye to the Madness. While Duke, UNC, Arizona, Illinois, and much more chalk found it's way on to the Sweet 16. #NCAATournament #MarchMadness #BigDance #Sweet16
The Chicago Bears have been looking for a QB for decades, and that remains the case after they traded away once 1st Rd pick Justin Fields to the Pittsburgh Steelers.  Fields had been severely up-and-down in his time in the WINDY CITY, however being only 25 years old he still had much room to grow.  The Bears somehow though were only able to get a conditional 6th Rd draft pick in return, that could become a 4th Rd pick if Fields plays 51% of the time. It seems to be a horrendous return for a guy that has started the last 2 years for Chicago and had seemed to turn his play around toward the end of the season?! Defo and Lubie cannot wrap their heads around why the Bears felt the need to make the move now for such a horrible return. Plus the NCAA Tournament officially gets underway Tuesday night with the first 2 play-in games. They discuss if there is any angle to make some money on this first official action of The Tournament! #justinfields #chicagobears #marchmadness #ncaatournament #basketball
The Brackets have been released, Defo and Lubie take an early look at the field of 68, and try to find some of the early upsets. Who do they like to go deep into the tournament, also who do they see bowing out early, is all on the table today! Who got left put shockingly, and why did it happen?! #marchmadness #ncaatournament #brackets #finalfour #collegebasketball
There truly is nothing like March Madness in the American sports landscape.  However, the NCAA Tournament is NOT the beginning of the Madness, it starts with the conference tournaments. Where teams can start to put things together that may be of value come time for the brackets. Defo and Lubie are looking at the small to major conference tourneys wondering where some solid upsets may be found?! Plus are any teams starting to make a name for themselves that could be useful for the NCAA Tournament?! #marchmadness #ncaatournament #brackets #collegebasketball #hoops
The NFL mock draft has become a sensation every outlet, media and fans alike create a mock draft. Yearly within these mock drafts, and even on draft day QBs fly up the board and get drafted vastly higher than they should. They wonder what QBs do NFL franchises reach on in this year's draft?! Plus what sport fan doesn't find themselves intrigued by the off-season rumor mill of possible trades or signings.  When these possible moves become reality it is fantastic to think and hope about what these new configured teams could be?! However in season trades are a rarity, especially moves of a high caliber, unless you are talking about the NHL. Hockey is amazing for tons of in-season action both on the ice, but also with transactions.  Defo and Lubie talk about a wild day of hockey transactions and what does it mean for the rest of the season. #nfldraft #mockdraft #nhl #hockey #trade
