Have you ever wondered, "How much is enough?" This week's guest has given that question some serious thought. In 2013, Greg Baumer entered Harvard Business School with the expectation of leveling up his business prowess and cementing his financial future. What he didn't expect, was the transformation he was about to experience around money. However, after cross-registering for a course on God and money in Harvard Divinity School, transformation is exactly what he experienced. And after surveying thousands of passages of scripture about money, Greg was set on a trajectory that would forever change his financial future and lead to his family's implementation of a thoughtful "financial finish line".RESOURCESGod & Money: How We Discovered True Riches at Harvard Business SchoolTrue Riches: What Jesus Really Said About Money And Your HeartMore recommendations from Greg HERERELATED EPISODESE149: Generosity and Breaking the Power of Money (Apple, Spotify)E150: When Alumni Bring the Ice Cream (Apple, Spotify)STAY IN TOUCHSocials: @afterivpodLeave us a message on SpeakPipeVisit our Website ★ Support this podcast ★

From the safety of your own quiet time or small group Bible study, affirming Jesus' command to "love your enemies" is obviously the correct choice. Right? But what would you do if you actually had the chance to make a real-life enemy pay for the ways they'd wronged you?Our guest this week, Brent Campbell, was faced with this exact decision. One day, during a summer workout for track, Brent was harassed by a group of fellow university students. After quietly absorbing the barrage of racist insults and death threats, Brent was left to decide... "How should I respond?" His decision might surprise you.NOTE: Please be aware that this and the following episodes are marked "explicit". Are we in conflict or are we enemies? How can I tell the difference between someone I'm in conflict with and someone who's an enemy? As a Christian, can I even have enemies? If so, how do I treat them? Many of these questions are pretty easy to answer from Scripture. Where things get difficult, though, is realizing how badly I need to be transformed to be able to follow through. This week, our guest Michele Arndt (pastor, worship leader) helps us gain a better understanding of the extraordinarily high standard Jesus sets when he says, "Love your enemies."ResourcesMichele's SubstackMichele's FacebookHow to Have an Enemy - BixlerDivine Conspiracy - WillardMatt Tebbe's SubstackRELATED EPISODE(S)E129:  Navigating Conflict - A Posture of Empathy & Respect (Apple, Spotify)STAY IN TOUCHSocials: @afterivpodLeave us a message on SpeakPipeVisit our Website ★ Support this podcast ★
