Why encores? We can easily go back and listen to them as a personal encore, we need new content! Not reruns!
I absolutely love you guys and these stories. so very well done. I lived in Taiwan for a year in 1994 while teaching English there with my girlfriend. She became pregnant and we now joke that our son was made in Taiwan. I so miss the night markets and all of the great food that we used to find there. Cheers and many more episodes ahead!
I'm in shock... They spent a year learning how to sail but neglected to learn how to swim? Before attempting to sail the Pacific Ocean?? 🤦♀️
Odd timing on the cops showing up behind the stolen school bus. Is that dramatization? And what is up with parents willingly separating from their kids. The first woman sent her son away to evacuate but made ger daughter stay. And the mother of school bus driver just lets her kids go.
I used to know a man (he's passed away now) who survived a whiteout in the N.W.T. near Rankin Inlet, Canada. The airman went down in forested mountainous terrain, but the land where my friend lived is flat & above the tree line. There is no trees or shelter available to block the freezing incessant wind of a whiteout. He lost several fingers, an entire foot on one leg, and half of his foot on the other. He spent a year recovering in a Winnipeg hospital. Frostbite is no little nip.
I've had frostbite on 8 fingers and almost lost 6. Trust me, it was some of the most excruciating pain I've ever felt. Even today, my fingers cannot get cold, I could lose them if I get frostbite again.
cuanto se tardaron en encontrar los unicos 2 latinos en la historia??? habian muchas otras historias mas profundas que contar.
Once again, I absolutely loved listening to your podcast. During parts of it, it had me on the edge of my seat and other times ready to cry. You guys are great story tellers.
FYI as a local, the helicopters dropped supplies bc residents began shooting at helicopters landing with supplies. also residents looted EVERYTHING not just survival supplies. remember the photos of people carrying huge flat screen TV through the water
"You asked a bunch of kids" ? insensitive , unfeeling way for the presenter to refer to the victims
I really enjoy the way you guys tell the stories on this podcast.
dude threw the bus keys to him mom....? damn that's cold af
Thank you, Navy Seals 6 and Barack Obama.
great job to the captain!
sweet mercy your irish descriptions\pronounciationfrom the bodhran on is horrific
can they not just go into the wild and plant a BUNCH of berry bushes? seems there trying everything other then saving the bears or doing anything them selves seems like they don't even want to get good garbage cans LOL
If anyone that is enjoying this podcast about Grizzlies , I highly suggest that you watch the Leonardo DiCaprio movie The Revenant. I imagine that anyone that's in the movies more than likely has already seen it but then you want is reading this and by chance hasn't seen it I highly recommend it it is an amazing movie and best of all is a true story. there's a big difference between based on a true story and a true story and the revenant is a true story I actually read the book and the movie is very factual with regard to the story unlike some movies that are based on the true story that used a massive amount of creative liberties this story is so unbelievable there's no need to use any creative liberties the truth is good enough so I think Jesse give it a watch It's a true classic and Leonardo at his absolute best.
if it wasn't for a commercial every 10 minutes
scratch that.. now 5 commercial breaks. smh
if you like a crap ton of commercials this is the podcast for you
