On the outside she had it all together but on the inside she felt differently. In 2016, Liesl was broken. Her marriage was barely surviving, she was working sixty hours a week at her corporate job, and she was usually the last mom to pick her kids up from daycare. She was in crisis. Michelle was married for many years and was a stay at home Mom for 2 children. In 2015, Michelle realized that her husband was addicted to drugs. In this time, she had experienced financial, emotional and sexual abuse from him, which turned into his sex trafficking her. Michelle spent many nights crying on the floor, until one night she saved her life, and ran for the door. Since then, she has been healing herself, with therapy and other techniques. She has become a strong Mom for her children, in addition to being an advocate and mentor for other women and teens who have suffered any form of trauma and abuse. When tragedy struck Kim's family right after Christmas in 1998, it was a loss so deep she believed she would not survive. She and her family witnessed the accident that took our daughter Nicole's earthly life. That event rocked the very foundation of their beliefs and their world. Kim had to find a way to grieve and still live life fully. Feeling isolated and hopeless - she found hope and healing. Kim came to realize that grief and joy can co-exist. She became determined to find purpose in her pain and help others who were struggling with the deep sorrow of losing a loved one.
