Tonight we celebrate the life of composer and arranger Arif Mardin. We share a conversation with his son Joe and talk about Arif's life at Atlantic.

This weeks program began with one song in my head at 5AM...the rest just followed. Thanks to the muse, always.

This night we begin another year in Ahmet's House by celebrating two guitar heroes in the month of their births...Stephen Stills and Jimmy Page!

It was just after the Woodstock Festival...when in that September the well known but yet still new formation of talents...perhaps America's first true "Supergroup"...were invited onto the lower East Side of New York to perform at Bill Graham's latest venture, The Fillmore East. Delivering their strongest performance since that helicopter day at Max Yasgur's farm, Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young soared. Tonight, we share a large portion of the concert recorded on September 20th. Mr. Stills and Mr. Young collaborated on the release, sharing the night with us only just last week! Enjoy!

TONIGHT we serve up five distinct sets of music, running from early rock guitar to soul, blues, jazz, jive and more...a fun ride for the changing season.

This night, this day, calm seems to be needed. So many living on edge. Let's explore this marvelous catalogue and find peace...for all!

Ahmet's House celebrates the 55th anniversary of that great event! TONIGHT...WOODSTOCK, Part I of II.

Tonight, we jump into some great soul, add a bit of Blues and all join hands! Let's come together in Ahmet's House!

We dig out an interview Tony did in 2017 with the brilliant Jon Anderson, and incorporate some newly mixed Steven Wilson tracks from Fragile, which just arrived two days ago! The event was seeing Jon and the Band Geeks last weekend, outside of Boston. Brilliant! We add in a great new track by Jon and the Band Geeks too! Please enjoy this treat, dedicated to those loyal fans who were in attendance at the show! I connected with so many, as music always does that! Love Yes fans, all of you!

Tonight we share the proud homecoming of Memphis native Bobby Whitlock, as he has this very day earned a "Brass Note" in the Beale Street Hall of Fame! We hear some of Bobby's best; plus new news on other Ahmet's House alumni!
