The posse begins their quest in grand Old Western tradition: with a hanging. Bullets begin to fly as a shady priest, a rough and tumble miner, a suave former outlaw, and an earnest hobo join vengeful Deputy Sheriff Ellie Bishop on the Canutillo Railroad Bridge. Little does this ragtag posse know of the cosmic H.P. Lovecraft horrors that are about to unfold. Will our investigators ever actually investigate something on their hunt for gang leader Colin Brock, or will they holler and shoot their way to some kind of resolution?Transcript: Download**Add our Patreon Feed to your Podcast App**https://open.acast.com/public/patreon/fanSubscribe/3607115This series is not suitable for listeners under the age of 18 and may contain material some people find disturbing.SERIES CONTENT WARNINGS:Abandonment, Alcohol consumption, Amnesia and memory disorders, Amputation, Animal death, Animal experimentation and abuse, Asphyxia, Blood and gore, Body horror, Buried alive, Child endangerment, Colonialism, Cults, Death and dying, Death of family, Decapitation, Dismemberment, Drowning, Drugging, Drug use, Eyeball trauma, Explosions, Fire, Grief and loss, Gun violence, Hallucinations, Hanging, Imprisonment, Intrusive thoughts, Medical experimentation, Mental illness, Mind control and possession, Nightmares, Parental neglect, Phobias (insects, snakes, rats, claustrophobia, etc.), Pregnancy, Profanity, Self-harm, Sandstorms, Sensory deprivation, Suicide and suicidal ideation, Torture, Verbal abuse, Vomiting, ViolencePublished January 13, 2020Main CastJay Arnold as Lance Kilkennycuppycup as Keeper of Arcane LoreWes Davis as Jeremiah FensworthChuck Lawrence as Johnny RhodesAlex McDaniel as Ellie BishopBrandon Wainerdi as Father Flint WestwaterAdditional Voice TalentWill Baizer as Professor WilkinsonLeonardo Cuellar as LopezScott Dorward as The StrangerRina Haenze as Mrs. Wilkinson, Isabel FultonPepé Herman as Doctor ZamoraDaisy Hobbs as IdaVictoria Hogan as Kate CaldwellKim Lane as GraceDanny Scott as Dust Devil, JimboMella Vanderpool as DutchProduction and CreativeCampaign Authorship: cuppycup, Will Baizer, and Graeme PatrickExecutive Producer, Audio Editor, Sound Designer, Music Supervisor: cuppycupGame Rules and Setting: Call of Cthulhu 7e, Down Darker Trails by Chaosium, Inc.Theme Song: “Dead Man Walking” by Cody FryOriginal Music: cuppycup and Graham PlowmanMusic Selections: Graham Plowman, Wes Otis at Plate Mail Games ”Old Jeremiah” Vocalist: Eileen ShannonEpisode Art: Ewerton LuaTranscriptions: Sabrina Haenze and Sonix.aiPatreon ShoutoutAlthalos, Altheren, Anthony D., Brandon B., Caolán M., Cody N., David D., Drew M., E.M.F.D., firecop890, Heather P., Kevin M., Killius Manjaro, Lancey Pants, Matthew C., Mikah S., Rich P., Sig-Free & Roy, Tensoon’s Shadow, YouHaveABuddy, Call Me Dirt, Chris B., Dan A., Dan F., Dylan M., Jeff F., Jessen, Mario S., Michael H., Nathanael C., Stephen D.Patreon: https://patreon.com/aintslayedMerch: https://aintslayed.dashery.com/Discord: https://slayed.me/discordIG: https://instagram.com/aintslayedAin’t Slayed Nobody and Rusty Quill Hosted on Acast. Harlan just shows up everywhere which is fine by me. It was this year's Nine to Midnight that introduced me to your awesome podcast so I Iove that Harlan is on here. And for real, Malevolent is the absolute best! Harlan is ridiculously talented!
Aww shit, Cam Collins from the great Old Gods of Appalachia podcast! Can't wait!!!
Omg Cthulhu in a Tammy hat is the cutest fucking thing ever!!!!
As much as I love all things CoC/Mythos related, I did not think I would be interested in the 'wild West' setting but I have to say that this is just brilliant! The show is very well produced, the characters are funny & engaging, the story is interesting & terrifying in equal measure. So excited to see what other variations they play!
This is by far the BEST Call of Cthulhu RP podcast. And believe me, I have tried listening to many of them. This is very well done & absolutely fuckin hilarious. I cannot wait to listen to more!
These guys suck. Their sense of humor is banal and they don't really RP back with their keeper. If their sense of humor wasn't so terrible it wouldn't be a problem but without dramatic tension (and the dude with the annoying laugh who seems to talk through every scene) or really anything of substance it sounds like a bunch of fifteen years olds playing through their first and 5e campaign instead of Call of Cthulu (which relies heavily on narrative). They're probably fine in their real lives but fuck guys, grow up. If you're too scared to voice act or take anything seriously, play DND. Yuck.
this episode made me giggle so much during the part where Cuppy struggles to say a word, lol!
Restarted in the middle for some reason
every episode is so funny and the story keeps you listening for sure!
some of the scene descriptions were pretty graphic! I had to stop listening for a bit, cuz I have a vivid imagination! 😬
this episode was better than the first episode of Unland!
Such a fun show! the cast of players and gamemaster are awesome! 🥰
Addresses unfortunate horse: Hey, hey lil' fella..... 😱😂
A great first show. looking forward to many more
