I've always enjoyed this podcast. but this episode has presented such excellent points of view. Nice to see a detailed explanation for a different perspective. It makes difficult to disagree.
You shouldn’t blame religion for what she did. Like you shouldn’t blame cars, knives, alcohol, bats or guns for the actions of the people controlling them. Church or a bar. They can either be used for good or for evil. Millions of church-goers (of ALL faiths) don’t kill their kids.

You can always tell who is lying about their military experience because they brag about being in combat and killing. The men that seen combat action are generally traumatized by their experience and it's not a topic they are comfortable talking about with non-military people.
