Today we’re excited to be sitting down with KJ Kindler, the head coach of the 6-time NCAA Champion Oklahoma Sooners. Despite last season not ending how the Sooners wanted it to, the 2024 season was one for the history books. Oklahoma was the #1 team all season long and won its 14th and final Big 12 Championship with not only a program record score, but an NCAA team record of 198.950. KJ joins us to talk about how the team handled the heartbreak of not advancing to the NCAA finals last year, the team not being afraid to set big goals that might seem impossible, she also introduces her stellar freshmen class and gives a few updates on athlete injuries and who to watch this season. The Razorbacks are coming off an historic season that included breaking the team program record three times, getting the programs first 198 score, and qualifying to the NCAA Championships, where they had their highest finish as a team since 2012. Our Coaches Corner series continues with Jay Clark, who is going into his 5th season as the head coach of the LSU Tigers and his 14th season with the program overall. The Tigers are coming off their best season in program history after breaking the program record (198.475) in 2024, posting the program’s highest NQS in history (198.215), winning the programs 5th SEC title, and of course ended the season by winning the NCAA national title for the first time in program history - making LSU only the 8th school to win the title. We are thrilled and honored to sit down with two Michigan gymnastics legends: Paul Juda, a World and Olympic bronze medalist and three-time NCAA Champion, and Reyna Guggino, a member of Michigan's first-ever NCAA Championship team and only the second gymnast in NCAA history to score a perfect 10 in the leadoff spot. Known as the 'Royal Couple' of gymnastics, Paul and Reyna's journey together began when they met during Reyna’s freshman year at Michigan, and the rest is history. Our Coaches Corner series continues this week with Janelle McDonald, who is going into her 3rd season as the head coach at UCLA. The Bruins finished the 2024 season 17th, but are hungrier than ever to get back to the top of the rankings nationally, but also in their first season in the Big Ten Conference. Our Coaches Corner series continues this week with Carly Dockendorf, who is going into her 2nd season  as the head coach at Utah. Last season — in their final season in the Pac 12 conference — the Utes won the Pac 12 Championship title for the 4th consecutive year and went on to finish third at the NCAA Championships. As they gear up for their first season in the Big 12 conference, we sat down with Carly to talk about some of the new faces on the team this season — including how they snagged Ana Padurariu from their longtime rival UCLA. Our Coaches Corner series continues this week with Bev Plocki, who is going into her 36th season as the head coach of the Michigan Wolverines. This season Michigan is looking to return back to the top of the Big Ten – a place they are very familiar with, having won all but six Big Ten titles in the last 32 years. Michigan has lost some star athletes who made huge contributions in the last 4-5 seasons, but is bringing in the top freshman class in the country to help fill the holes left behind. Our Coaches Corner series continues this week with Mike Rowe, who led the Michigan State Spartans to a second consecutive Big Ten Regular Season title last season, as well as the first Big Ten Championship in program history. The Spartans only lost 1 lineup routine from last season and are expected to continue to rise with the addition of some talented freshmen and few other new faces stepping it up in the gym. Our Coaches Corner series continues this week with California co-head coach, Liz Crandall-Howell. The Cal Bears finished 2nd last season at the NCAA Championships, which was the highest finish in program history. In 2024, the team also repeated as NCAA Regional Champions and won the Pac 12 Regular Season title outright for the first time in history. In the spirit of college recruiting season, our guest this week is somebody who had the gymnastics community buzzing over where she was going to commit for college. We're super excited to welcome CaMarah Williams to the show. Williams was one of the top recruits in the class of 2026 and recently committed to the University of Georgia. She is a six-time level 10 national champion and began competing at the elite level in 2024 and even qualified to the U.S. Championships in her first year.
