All You Need To Know

Judaism sometimes seems confusing, inapplicable or archaic. From initial observation, you might not be interested in doing many of the details in living a fully committed Jewish life. Two things that help are knowing WHY we do what we do, which you often weren’t taught in school, and hearing stories about HOW they do what they do, making it real. On this show you will find out some of the whys behind Jewish practices, and personal stories of how Jews do what they do, and that might just be all you needed to know.

Sefirat Haomer - The 49 days we count between Pesach and Shavuot

That pretty much sums it up, but of course there’s really so much more to know! Each day has incredible potential, depth, and opportunity to tap into greatness. Something to Know about Pesach!!!!

We can’t claim this is ALL you need to know about Pesach, the Passover holiday coming up ASAP, but it’s definitely some good answers to questions like “What is the holiday all about? What does true freedom really mean? Why were we slaves in Egypt? What should I be thinking during the (really long) Seder??” This mini episode will address all that and more! Enjoy and Happy Skip!

Why Are You Frum?

You always have to start with WHY!!! Dani, David, Ezra and Raina delve into why each of us are personally orthodox, what it means to us, the stigmas we feel and face, and what misconceptions we felt about orthodoxy. This is a project of Ohrsom Sydney, an organization dedicated to enriching the lives of young Jewish adults through education, community, and learning. Each week a new episode will be released that gets to the root of a different Jewish topic!
