On this week's episode of All the Words Podcast, Andon T. and Nikki G. discuss a myriad of things, as per usual. Nikki had a day last week where she cried, she bleed, she danced and she puked. Vroom vroom, baby. Our main topic of conversation was why smart people believe in conspiracy theories, which consisted of speaking about two articles in Psychology Today. The influence of social media is fueling conspiracy theories and gaining in popularity mainstream, which is a problem. The problem started in the 19th century when we as a society switched over from print to pictures in how we obtain the news. The conspiracy theories we discussed included Hillary Clinton's Pizza Gate, and 5G contributing to the spread of COVID.
