THE INTERVIEW This year, one of the most important topics to discuss is immune health. We have to begin understanding our body better, understanding our microbiome, and learning what we can do to improve our immunity and brain function through the microbiome. So K+L sat down with Ara Katz, co-founder of Seed, who is totally redefining how the supplement industry is educating consumers on what they put into their bodies.   We also talk about: How the microbiome correlates to immunity The tradeoffs involved in sanitation What prevents people from having a healthy microbiome What to eat to support your gut microbiome How sugar affects your microbiome Respecting the planet as much as our bodies   Find more to love at almost30.com!   Resources: Use code ALMOST30 for 20% off your first month at seed.com/ALMOST30 Instagram: @seed Instagram: @arakatz Check out our new merch collection at shopalmost30.com Check out the upcoming workshops in our New Paradigm digital series at almost30.com/new-paradigm   Sponsors: Away | Start your risk-free, 100 day trial and shop the entire Away lineup of travel essentials, including their best-selling suitcases, at awaytravel.com/almost30 BetterHelp | Visit betterhelp.com/almost30 for 15% off your first month. THE INTERVIEW Danielle LaPorte’s books “Desire Map” and “White Hot Truth” were game changers for K+L when they first moved to LA, and they’ve followed her teachings ever since. They *go there* in this interview. We’re talking about Christ consciousness, the spiritual warfare happening in the world today, saving the children, atonement, leadership, finding peace in unstable times, living a reflective life, and so much more. She’s leaning out her spiritual menu and dropping what isn’t moving her along. She’s trying to feel her own suffering instead of distracting from it, like so many of us do. It’s pure medicine for the soul.   We also talk about: Maintaining peace through all the chaos of the world Our collective relationship with death The importance of forgiveness The distinction between Jesus and Christ Looking for a relationship with God Stepping into a new age “Save the Children”  Getting rid of what we don’t need Understanding true leadership   Find more to love at almost30.com!   Resources: daniellelaporte.com Read: "The Desire Map" Read: "The Fire Starter Sessions" Read: "White Hot Truth" Heart Centered Check out our new merch collection at shopalmost30.com Check out the upcoming workshops in our New Paradigm digital series at almost30.com/new-paradigm   Sponsors: Newsette | Sign up for free: thenewsette.com/sign-up SAKARA | Go to sakara.com/almostsakara and use code ALMOSTSAKARA for 20% off your first order GoMacro Bars | Use code ALMOST30 for 20% off at gomacro.com Dropps | Save 25% off your first purchase using promo code “almost30” at dropps.com EverlyWell | code ALMOST20 for 20% off an EverlyWell at-home lab test at everlywell.com/almost30   Almost 30 is edited by Crate Media
THE INTERVIEW Nadine Artemis knows there’s a better, more natural path to overall wellness than the standards our society has shown us. She’s helping us break through old standards of health and caring for our bodies that aren’t working and making way for more natural, effective solutions. She’s the founder of Living Libations, a hugely popular organic beauty product company. Everything they offer is totally natural, and they have an impressive range of products. Nadine wrote "Holistic Dental Care" in 2013 and she goes into the effects everything we put into our mouth have on the microbiome of the mouth and our system. If we can get our oral and dental care natural, we are on our way. She also talks about being in the sun and how important that is to our health as a natural way to heal us and improve our mood and immunity. She’s incredibly knowledgeable, and in her new book, “Renegade Beauty,” she breaks down everything you need to know about clean beauty. Can she be our second mom?   We also talk about:   The importance of sun exposure + skin care Our spiritual connection to the sun What we can do to drink clean water Getting off birth control naturally The yoni microbiome The case for going braless Ingredients to look out for in natural deodorant The truths about dental hygiene The evolution of the beauty industry                 Find more to love at almost30.com!   Resources: livinglibations.com Instagram: @livinglibations Read: “Renegade Beauty” Read: "Holistic Dental Care" Read: "Unseen Rain: Quatrains of Rumi" Read: "Rumi: Bridge to the Soul" Read: "Say I Am You" Read: "Rumi: We Are Three" Almost 30 Podcast Accelerator Check out our new merch collection at shopalmost30.com Check out the upcoming workshops in our New Paradigm digital series at almost30.com/new-paradigm   Sponsors: BiOptimizers | Use code “almost30” for 10% off at bioptimizers.com ALOHA | Visit aloha.com and use code ALMOST30 for 25% off your first order Article | www.article.com/ALMOST30 for $50 off your first purchase of $100 or more Daily Harvest | Use code ALMOST30 to get $25 off your first box at www.daily-harvest.com Bombas | Use code ALMOST30 for 20% off your 1st order at Bombas.com/almost30   Almost 30 is edited by Crate Media
THE INTERVIEW Lacy Phillips is a pioneer. She’s someone who K + L have grown with over the years, and who has undergone a lot of growth herself. She’s always so excited about what she’s working on next within herself, and as a teacher, it’s so refreshing to see someone who is also doing the work. We go deep into things like shadow work, lack mentality, subconscious reprogramming with yourself and in relationships, building your trust muscle, and her business, To Be Magnetic.   We also talk about: Running from uncomfortable emotions Attachment styles Flower essences Examples of how to use the Imago Dialogue technique When your partner is resistant to reprogramming work Recurring dreams Christian science   Find more to love at almost30.com!   Resources: tobemagnetic.com Instagram: @tobemagnetic Listen: Expanded with Lacy Phillips “Getting the Love You Want” Imago Technique Dr. Joe Dispenza: “Becoming Supernatural” Almost 30 Podcast Accelerator Check out our new merch collection at shopalmost30.com Check out the upcoming workshops in our New Paradigm digital series at almost30.com/new-paradigm   Sponsors: Laird Superfoods | Use code ALMOST30 at lairdsuperfood.com to score 15% off BetterHelp | Visit betterhelp.com/almost30 for 15% off your first month. THE INTERVIEW Dr. Kulreet Chaudhary is an integrative neurologist, a neuroscientist, and the author of “Sound Medicine: How to Use the Ancient Science of Sound to Heal the Body and Mind.” She is currently working in India, integrating the use of sound medicine into the treatment of chronic disease and studying how ancient mantras affect people. Both K + L have had amazingly transformative experiences with sound healing, from ancient practices like sound baths to modern biohacks like binaural beats. But what makes sound and mantra so exciting and special is that they are such accessible transformational tools. We are all electric beings, affected by vibration and sound, and we can heal through the use of sound. This is so important for anyone who is looking for new ways to de-stress and heal right now.   We also talk about:   The positive and negative effects of sound   The history of sound Humans as giant sound connectors   The sounds we should be aware of that affect our health   Using mantras for your everyday How sound will bring up emotions   Sound baths and healing frequencies   Building and using an altar   Sounds to help your energy, your sleep, your focus     Find more to love at almost30.com!   Resources: drkulreetchaudhary.com Read: “Sound Medicine” Facebook: facebook.com/drkulreetchaudhary Twitter: @drkchaudhary Almost 30 Podcast Accelerator Check out our new merch collection at shopalmost30.com Check out the upcoming workshops in our New Paradigm digital series at almost30.com/new-paradigm   Sponsors: BiOptimizers | Use code “almost30” for 10% off at bioptimizers.com Woo More Play | Use code ALMOST30 for 20% off at www.woomoreplay.com   Osea Malibu | Use code ALMOST30 to get $10 off $50 or more at oseamalibu.com/almost30podcast Dropps | Save 25% off your first purchase using promo code “almost30” at dropps.com   Almost 30 is edited by Crate Media
THE INTERVIEW Jas the Moon Mother recently entered our orbit and has already been a grounding force in elevating our understanding of our purpose.  Jas is a human design guide and energy healer who is passionate about awakening your soul’s purpose and self-sovereignty. She’s always been years ahead of the crowd, but because of that she never really felt like part of the crowd. When she experienced her spiritual awakening, she realized how connected all life on earth is and how much we impact each other, which led to the realization that we are all part of the same source—we are all God. In this enlightening conversation, the girls talk about human design, Jas’ calling, spirituality in general, God, Christ consciousness, transformation, and our broken views about money.    We also talk about: Being ahead of your time Healing your relationship with money How what we do affects people’s lives Jas’ spiritual awakening Zero-point manifestation Applying human design in your life Reprogramming your life for the life you want The connection between human design and purpose   Find more to love at almost30.com!   Resources: moondustourmother.com Instagram: @themoon.mother Divinely Human Podcast New Paradigm Workshop 10/14: Human Design for Your Money Alignment and Purpose with Jas The Moon Mother Check out the upcoming workshops in our New Paradigm digital series at almost30.com/new-paradigm   Sponsors: Laird Superfoods Use code ALMOST30 at lairdsuperfood.com to score 15% off! THE INTERVIEW One time Samantha Skelly showed up for her meditation class late, so she was offered a breathwork class instead. She was skeptical, but tried it out anyway. She thought it looked like an orgy, the energy healer leading the session told her that her brain was broken, and she bawled her eyes out… and she LOVED it. So she asked herself: how does the whole world not know we have the ability to feel this? Samantha and Lindsey dive into the life-changing experience of breathwork and how we can ALL tap into the healing available inside each and every one of us to release our minds and learn to feel again.  Lindsey found breathwork two years ago and was completely changed for the better by this practice.  In this episode, the girls share personal experiences and the soul shifting effects of this powerful healing modality.   We also talk about: Finding breathwork How emotions get caught in the body The ways breathwork heals us (or allows us to heal ourselves) Integrating breathwork into your everyday life Getting started with breathwork Vocal releasing during breathwork   Find more to love at almost30.com!   Resources: samanthaskelly.com pausebreathwork.com hungryforhappiness.com/book @samanthaskelly @pausebreathwork @hungryforhappiness “Meet Your Soul” Elisa Romeo Almost 30 Podcast Accelerator Check out our new merch collection at shopalmost30.com Check out the upcoming workshops in our New Paradigm digital series at almost30.com/new-paradigm   Sponsors: Book of the Month | Get your first book for $9.99 with code ALMOST30 at www.bookofthemonth.com Osea Malibu | Use code ALMOST30 to get $10 off $50 or more at oseamalibu.com/almost30podcast GoMacro Bars | Use code ALMOST30 for 20% off at gomacro.com Olipop | Use Code ALMOST30 for 20% the top-selling Variety 12-Pack at drinkolipop.com/almost30 Gabby Bernstein Live Training: https://xh111.isrefer.com/go/purpose/almost30podcast   Almost 30 is edited by Crate Media
THE INTERVIEW Gabby Bernstein certainly needs no introduction. She has this ability to be so present in her own life and share what’s happening in real-time while translating that into her new message and teaching, all with a no-BS attitude that you just have to love, and we are here for it. No matter what is going on around her or in the world, she’s found a way to anchor into her own truth and intuition, and she’s sharing how we all can do the same. As we see gurus fall from the pedestals we’ve put them on, it falls upon us to figure out what messages work and what messages don’t for ourselves. We dive into her new audiobook, “You Are The Guru,” how her relationship with eating has evolved, and the difference between surrendering and finding creative solutions. She also shares how compassion creates connection and why that is so important to foster during this time.   We also talk about: How she’s feeling after postpartum depression The choices we face during times of crisis How to work through your excuses + find creative opportunities Putting on the lens of love everyday Why we can’t rely on gurus How to separate yourself from your work and allow your message to live How being a parent changes your intuition Why “Judgement Detox” is so timely right now Advice for starting a consciousness business and writing a book   Find more to love at almost30.com!   Resources from Gabby: Listen: "You Are the Guru" Read: "Judgement Detox" Gabby's Bestseller Masterclass Sign up for Gabby’s free live webinar “YOUR 5-STEP GUIDE to UNLOCK PURPOSE & ABUNDANCE” gabbybernstein.com Instagram: @gabbybernstein   Resources from Almost 30: Almost 30 Podcast Accelerator Check out our new merch collection at shopalmost30.com Check out the upcoming workshops in our New Paradigm digital series at almost30.com/new-paradigm Ep. 257 - Gabrielle Bernstein on Being a ‘Super Attractor’ + Overcoming Postpartum Depression   Upcoming Events: September 30th: New Paradigm Workshop - Conscious Intimacy: A Body & Sex Convo with Chinae Alexander & Dr. Holly October 1st: Free Webinar - Your 5-Step Guide to Unlock Purpose & Abundance with Gabby Bernstein   Sponsors: ALOHA | Visit aloha.com and use code ALMOST30 for 25% off your first order BiOptimizers | Use code “almost30” for 10% off at bioptimizers.com Public Goods | Get $15 off your first order by visiting publicgoods.com/almost30 SAKARA | Go to sakara.com/almostsakara and use code ALMOSTSAKARA for 20% off your first order   Almost 30 is edited by Crate Media

She knows that nobody really has it together and unapologetically points it out at any occasion — to hilarious results. THE INTERVIEW Chinae Alexander is the kind of person you just want to be friends with. She’s vulnerable about the process of improving herself and figuring shit out, but she owns who she is with  confidence. By showing the imperfect side of herself, it allows the people who follow her to see that they, too, can do the work AND be confident. Now, that’s an inspiring thing we don’t often see in the sometimes too-perfect-to-be-real world of Instagram influencers. She believes in showing up as the taste menu of yourself instead of the full ten-course meal — giving people enough of the real you to satisfy them and keep them full. In this thoughtful conversation, she dives into showing up as yourself online, finding a therapist who doesn’t freak you out, processing your emotions out loud, and handling anxiety in whatever way you can.   We also talk about: Stepping in as a leader Navigating the last few months Processing emotions in public Fully existing as yourself online Dealing with anxiety How coronavirus has given us more gratitude   Find more to love at almost30.com!   Resources: chinaealexander.com Instagram: @chinaealexander Listen: chinaealexander.com/podcast We are announcing the lineup for our New Paradigm digital series soon! THE INTERVIEW Welcome to a highlight of our podcasting career: a conversation with Jay Shetty. Jay started this interview by saying “Let’s have a conversation I’ve never had before.”  And so we did. If you don’t already know and love Jay, he’s known for his viral social media videos where he teaches the principles he learned during his time as a monk. He’s now the host of the FIRE podcast, On Purpose, and author of the new book “Think Like A Monk,” and let us just say - he is everything you feel from him online and more. 😍 We don’t all have to be monks to adopt the same principles that allow them to lead lives of service and purpose. Jay shares the wisdom he gained from that time in his life and how we can bring the pillars of that lifestyle into our own lives for peace, groundedness, and connection. We dive into leadership, ego, creativity, and flow, as well as how you can stay inspired on the daily. We also go deep into his spirituality and connection to source, and it’s beautiful to hear his relationship with the universe in an easy-to-access way.   We also talk about: Learning marketing and business in order to let your art see the world Being in service of others Living as a monk Becoming more adaptable Blocking creativity through structure Jay’s relationship with Source Finding your purpose The real ego VS the false ego Jay’s relationship with his wife   Find more to love at almost30.com!   Resources: jayshetty.me Read: “Think Like A Monk” Listen: jayshetty.me/podcast We are announcing the lineup for our New Paradigm digital series soon! THE INTERVIEW Camila Coelho is an influencer, entrepreneur, and overall angel of a human! In today’s episode, she shares a side of her that you don’t see very often. When she moved to the U.S. from Brazil, she worked at a makeup counter. Now she runs her own clothing line, Camila Coelho Collection, and cosmetic brand, Elaluz. Talk about living the American Dream! But as she vulnerably shares with us, her life isn’t all Instagram inspo 24/7. Camila was diagnosed with epilepsy as a teen and just recently began to open up and talk about how it impacts her life. Camila also gets real + emotional about the difficulties of navigating a pregnancy while being epileptic. We already loved following her, but now are even more impressed by the woman, business leader, and style icon she is! We are so grateful to Camila for laying everything out there for us + we know her story is going to inspire you no matter what.   We also talk about: What it feels like to fulfill her dreams Maintaining trust in yourself Supporting business + marriage while working together with her husband Her experience with epilepsy Navigating pregnancy while having epilepsy The role of faith in Camila’s life Her quarantine workout routine Elaluz’ three pillars of business   Find more to love at almost30.com!   Resources: camilacoelho.com @camilacoelho elaluz.com We are announcing the lineup for our New Paradigm digital series soon! THE INTERVIEW Gabby Reece is iconic. She’s an athlete, a leader, an author, a wife, a mother, and an entrepreneur, and yet still so down-to-earth it’s kinda hard to believe. She popularized the idea of “going first” when interacting with other people: smile first, wave first, talk first, and break the tension without allowing awkwardness to grow between you. It’s a welcoming invitation to be present. She has such a liberating perspective on purpose, parenting, embracing the beauty and lessons in different phases of your life, and just being a good person on this planet. This is such an incredibly dynamic conversation from a true LEGEND that will hopefully encourage you to do things in your own way!    We also talk about: The power of going first + human connection Horizontal vs Vertical relationships Learning to know yourself outside of the “noise” Embracing your masculinity as a female Gabby’s spiritual journey Raising girls in this current environment and social media society Prioritizing movement throughout life Her self-care routine Productive confrontation in relationships Articulating from love vs. reaction   Find more to love at almost30.com!   Resources: gabriellereece.com Podcast: gabriellereece.com/category/the-gabby-reece-show Instagram: @gabbyreece Check out our new merch collection at shopalmost30.com Laird Superfood Creamer   Sponsors: Winged CBD | Use code ALMOST30 for 20% off your order at wingedcbd.com/almost30. He spent years working in the finance and pharmaceutical world in jobs that he hated, filling his life with relationships with people that didn’t serve him. So when he hit rock bottom, he used it as an opportunity to create a life of power, love, + purpose. Now, he’s a human connection specialist who gives no-BS advice. We talk about quarantine, being open to your partner’s truth, the psychology of Instagram models, men and women’s programming, how women often bear the emotional burden in their relationship, codependency, giving words to feelings, and the hottest damn thing anyone can do in a relationship. This message is so necessary right now - all we ask is that you are open. We’re sure there is a message for you in this conversation.   We also talk about: Being fully present in your life Allowing yourself to feel without being in constant pain The importance of self-love Being open to your partner’s truths The socialization of men and women Seeing through untruth Codependency Why men follow Instagram models The sexiness of self-worth Experiencing new things together   Find more to love at almost30.com!   Resources: markgroves.com createthelove.com @createthelove Mark Groves Podcast: omny.fm/shows/mark-groves Check out our new merch collection at shopalmost30.com   Sponsors: EverlyWell | Get 15% off a test using code ALMOST30 at everlywell.com/almost30 BetterHelp | Visit betterhelp.com/almost30 for 15% off your first month. Märtha Louise is a clairvoyant, part of the Norwegian royal family, and the soulmate of past guest Shaman Durek. She’s an incredible lightworker, and it’s fascinating to see someone in her position in the world being so open about her gifts, sharing with the world that they can tap into those gifts as well—whether our intuition or our ability to connect with angels and spirits. In today’s episode, she talks about her relationship, the state of the world, and her daughters in a super candid, open conversation.   We also talk about: Meeting her soulmate The body + soul connection Reshaping your personal world Unpacking privilege The relationship with the press and public Dealing with grief Learning from our children Our guardian angels   Find more to love at almost30.com!   Resources: @iam_marthalouise Check out our new merch collection at shopalmost30.com If you want to start your own podcast, visit yourpodcastpro.com   Sponsors: Pretty Litter | Visit prettylitter.com and use the promo code ALMOST30 for 20% off your first order Article | www.article.com/ALMOST30 for $50 off your first purchase of $100 or more PlushCare | Go to plushcare.com/almost30 to start your free 30-day trial EverlyWell | Get 15% off a test using code ALMOST30 at everlywell.com/almost30   Almost 30 is edited by Crate Media

Almost30 has changed my life. These girls are an amazing inspiration to me. I have listened from day one and I still look forward to every Tueday and Thursday for the new episodes. I take away something valuable every single guest. Their guests have inspired me to put myself back together, love the woman I am and start pursuing my dreams. Thank you for helping me find myself again. Truly.

I love these girls and their talk with their guests! My only qualm is that the interviews are much much much more about the guests and their careers than what the title claims the episode is going to be about... which is a major minus from me and something lots of podcasts seem to do, but this podcast is still worth listening to because they are hilarious!
