We have another interesting talk with Joakim Juhl; founder and owner of OePhi Cable (Denmark). This time we talk about digital cables. Are there actually digital cables? We are about to find out!
Alfred Vassilkov came to visit the Netherlands. So when he was at Hifi Studio Wilbert in Utrecht, we took the opportunity to schuedule an interview with him. He was kind enough to sit down with us for over an hour. We asked him about his youth, his passion for music, electronics and of course his designs.

At the first edition of the Noir & Blanc Hifi Show in Brussels, we did a presentation about Streaming Audio Networks. We explained very shortly how networks work, the different media you can use to build a network and how to tweak it. And yes: we talked about the importance of decent equipment. Incluiding measurements to prove it :-).
Van den Hul zelf vertelt over zijn leven, akoestiek, kabels (en de materialen) en natuurlijk: vinyl. Hoe is hij tot zulke prachtige elementen gekomen? Waarom klinken kabels anders? En wat heeft hem gevormd tot wie hij nu is? Dit is een bijzonder interessante - en leuke, humoristische - presentatie om te zien. Mede omdat het anders dan anders is...!
We had a nice talk with Grant Samuelsen from Shunyata Research. We talk about how the company works, how they design their equipment ánd about an interesting new product: the Altaira. A grounding system that should improve the musical reproduction of practically any system. As a bonus we check out the Gemini: a small filter with also a grounding system.
We have a very nice interview with Sven Boenicke for Boenicke Audio in Switzerland. We talk about why he started the audio company, why his products are special and what we can expect in the future. The interview was done at Hifi Studio Wilbert in Utrecht, Netherlands. We thank them for the invitation and we thank Sven Boenicke for taking the time to talk to us.
