All about Luna. Just an update on Luna and our adventures, mostly mine of being a Dog Mom and getting to experience a puppy discovering the world while taking poops, like human ones, and sniffing every single thing that crosses her path.
Father's Day is such a wonderful time to pay close attention to the men that have been heroes and role models for us and those that also impact our children. My husband enjoyed a wonderful day of relaxation. Hear me talk about the wonderful men that have left an imprint on our family through time dedicated and stories told and shared.
Pregnancies, miscarriages, divorces, blended families...it's all a part of growing up. Some of you are lucky because you didn't have to go through this type of journey, and some of us are lucky because we did. Every moment, every person, leaves behind an imprint that we'll carry. Focus on the good imprints and learn from the bad ones. Most importantly make love the prevalent theme in your family's life.
A short one on Mother's Day, where I talk about all the women who influenced me in my motherhood journey.

Marriage is hard, but it's fun and exciting when you're experiencing it with your best friend. Join me and my husband Brandon, as we discuss marriage and how being married two years has changed the way we look at each other, ourselves, and life in general. We keep the topics pretty light, but there's depth in that love, understanding, dad jokes, and mom rituals help us stay together and engaged in our relationship.
Join me in this week's short episode to learn about the beginning of my journey as a dog mom. Is it puppy love or kennel cries....BOTH! I am truly enjoying this new adventure and I love watching my kids interact with Luna. I hope you get a kick out of my less than realistic expectations and reach out if you have any wonderful dog raising tips.
Join Nike, Roza, and I this week to hear all about how we face the challenges of being a working mom. Sometimes we cry, sometimes we laugh, sometimes the tiny terrorists get to use peanut butter as hair gel, but all in all we're hoping that our "fixes" make you realize that we're all in it together to raise good people that bring us snacks when we're in nursing homes. Enjoy and as always feel free to DM me on instagram @alpha_romeo_podcast.
Just a quick thought on our personal legacy. What do we want to be remembered for? How are we spending the precious time we are given everyday? Do we focus too much on the negatives? Are we following our dreams? Are we listening to our hearts? Join me as I briefly touch on these subjects with hopes of getting the juices flowing in all of us. What's your legacy?
My service is one of the proudest moments in my life, but I wanted to share some of the most difficult experiences that I dealt with as a woman in uniform. Join me while I speak of specific instances that made me realize what kind of environment women face in the military and working in male dominated fields. If you want to share your stories, please feel free to reach out to me on Instagram via Alpha Romeo Podcast.

Catching up with friends is always a great time and I feel like I've shared so many personal details, that I consider you close friends. In this episode, I catch up with the two first months of 2021 and go over where I'm at with my own goals to motivate you on staying focused on yours. I'll be sprinkling catch up and check in episodes every so often to keep accountable to myself and all of you.
Be Kind, such a simple phrase. Unfortunately in a world full of online bullying, real life problems, and hurt people that want to hurt back, this can become a full time task. Listen in on some of the ways that I try to focus on being kind, that I try to follow those that are courageous enough to truly embody that phrase and remind each of you that you are someone's whole world and the reason for their smile.
Dating is hard, dating in a pandemic adds a few more curveballs that I don't think single people were ready for. Although online dating has been popular for years, in 2020 it was the best way that single people could still "date" without breaking quarantine rules. Listen to Breona and I discuss dating during a worldwide pandemic, being single in general, and how dating will continue to be challenging in a world where mask fishing is a thing and most public places are still closed.
Getting along when you can't say exactly how you feel, that's tough right? Well, that occurs almost daily for all of us. It's called work. We often come across individuals who make earning a living very difficult. Even if we love our job, even if it's our purpose, even if everyone else is prudent, one individual can cause chaos and make us question why we even bother to get up every morning and drive into work. In this episode, I share a little about experiences I've had, both from those that have made it difficult for me and those that I made it difficult for. Hopefully, so that I can share some of the tools I used to get better at coping with difficult individuals and the lessons I learned to be a better coworker.
What do you think about when you hear the word immigrant? The more this topic came up recently, the more I thought about me and where I came from. My best friend Nike and I bonded over our unique upbringing because I was an immigrant and she was first generation. Listen to our funny stories about growing up with a twist on the typical American life. We share tons about our culture, music, and what makes us different, but a very big part of the American threads that make up this country.
What drives you? What is your purpose? These are questions that we should all be asking ourselves to ensure that we're headed in the path we want. For me, service is what motivates me and rewards me. I am continuously looking for opportunities to help others and hopefully impact someone's life in a meaningful way.
No matter what political ideas you have or what party you belong to, the importance of knowing about the election process is invaluable. The internet opened the door for us to have information at our fingertips, but are we doing our part to educate ourselves on topics that are important, such as elections. I hope that this episode will motivate you to learn more about the election process and maybe even inspire you to become a part of it.
We're all so excited for 2021 and the goals we're setting, but only through support and encouragement will we be able to stick to our goals and celebrate our little successes. Hopefully those celebrations will be more lively than those in 2020. Happy New Year and Cheers to your goals!
