There are 5 movies in the semi-classic Phantasm series, and we watched them all and talked about 'em. Stick around til the end because there's a surprising amount to say about the last movie. No that's not being clickbait-y, I'm being honest here.
We watch some Christmas themed Horror movies and discuss, while thanking our patrons along the way. Krampus, Gremlins, Silent Night Deadly Night, Black Christmas, and Santa's Slay.
We watch the first 7 Saw movies in anticipation of the new Saw 8 Jigsaw movie. We discuss everything that happens, what we liked and didn't, and just the overall franchise as a whole. All the traps, puzzles, characters, all that stuff.
So with the news of George Romero's passing, we felt it only necessary to watch all the Living Dead movies and talk about them. They played an important role in our lives and friendship, so now's as good a time as any to do a podcast.
We watch all 4 Jaws movies. Yeah, there are 4 Jaws movies. How do they hold up? Which ones should you watch? Do we make enough shark Puns? Listen and find out.
We watched the horror series It's Alive - 4 movies worth, and we talk about it all. We summarize, we discuss, we do other things.

(There's a couple audio issues in the first few minutes but it should clear up quickly) We go back and re-watch all 7 films in the Alien universe and discuss at length what we like, what we don't, what makes a good film, and what makes a film not so great. We ramble, we laugh, we articulate, we love Alien!
So, we watched all the Resident Evil movies (again) and even the newest one in theaters, then we talked ALL about them. This one goes looooong. There's just a lot to say about this franchise I guess.
We talk about movies we've watched over the past couple weeks including Arrival and Don't Speak (spoilers abound), why Kyle hates Star Wars, why Kyle loves Steven Soderbergh, and why we both love Korean movies so much. Plus questions from the community!
We watch all the Return of the Living Dead movies, all 5. Then we talk about it, and tell you about them, so listen.
We Reboot the Alphacast, or bring it back, or something. 'Member the Alphacast? We talk about brown bagging booze at the park, playing Alien Isolation, horror comics, Alien: Covenant, The Predator, and more!
We watched all 5 Tremors movies (yes, there are 5 movies in the Tremors series). And now we're here to talk all about it. Did we like them, hate them? Listen and find out.
Remember when we said we were taking a break from Alien related content? Who were we kidding, we can't stay gone for long. Alien Sea of Sorrows made us decide to get into what Fox is thinking with this franchise and what they want from it.
So we went back and read Alien Out of the Shadows and listened to the new Audio Drama of the book and decided to talk about, compare what's different in the book and audio version, and just discuss where the Alien Universe is and where it's going with new movies and books and comics.
Continuing on after watching Leprechaun and Hellraiser, we watch all of the Child's Play movies and then talk about for way too long. But let it be known, Child's Play is actually a really good series, for the most part. Let's hide in a boy's hole, er, I mean, boy's soul.
We need to talk about The Tribe, the Ukrainian teenage noir with no spoken language. It takes place in a boarding school for the deaf, it has no subtitles, and it's fantastic. "We Need to Talk" will be a series of podcasts where we sit down and talk about a particular piece of media we feel is special or warrants a discussion. We hope to shine a little more light on some cool things you may have not heard about.
Join us, join us. Bring your ass. To an Alpharookie Lepre-cast (fuck you it mostly rhymes)! Celebrate St Patty's day early by listening to us get Lepre-canonical about the SEVEN entries in the Leprechaun series until we Lepre-can't take it anymore!
2015 was a great year for Kurt Russel westerns and mustaches! We take a look at Tombstone (the only western from the 90s anyone remembers?) and Bone Tomahawk, the one delightful and disturbing Kurt Russel western you didn't see last year.
So with Creed coming on on Thanksgiving, we decided we should go back and watch all the Rocky movies (again) and get all caught up in the Balboa-verse, and make a 3 hour podcast in the process. We discuss plot, our reactions, we gush way too hard about our love of the films and how they make us cry like little babies. Mainly, who and what is Rocky, and what does that mean for Creed. The connections, the history, the characters, we lay it all out.
We kind of go really long talking about kung fu films and the genre as a whole, and arguing about who has seen more movies. We watched Heroes of the East, Legendary Weapons of China, and Shaolin Intruders.
