"On Sunday, January 11th, I strangled her... she's dead, and she's laying on the living room  floor... When Allegan County police showed up to the Fennville, MI residence mentioned in the  haunting 911 call, they discovered the lifeless body of 48-year-old Sara Lee Knight in the exact  condition described by the anonymous caller. Documents, funeral instructions, photos, and  personal items of Sara's had been organized and laid out on the table for police to find. The only  thing they couldn't find was Sara's husband, Butch. It didn't take long for police to realize the person who made the call to 911 was 66-year-old  Harold "Butch" Knight. Butch had taken Sara's vehicle and skipped town, eventually making his  way up to a tiny town in rural Maine. By the time they found Sara's abandoned vehicle, it was  too late. They'd lost his trail. Almost a decade later, police are still searching for Butch. This is “Harold Butch Knight: Wanted for Murder” from Murder, She Told. Originally published in  September 2023. I know this episode is from a couple of years ago, but I really hope the more recent episodes get rid of the music. It's not only distracting, but the weird laughing isn't creepy, it's just stupid. It doesn't go with this episode at all, and this podcast is better than this horrendous music

I am screaming at my phone during the entire story about the 'rather mild' rape. Richard Bardwell is a POS who doesn't deserve to sit on a bench judging crimes. He should be brought up as an accessory to all the crimes David committed after his release because that judge is just as guilty.

Was anyone calling him except his parents? Maybe he was hoping others would be contacting him before he made the decision to drive off the embankment. I think this is a Brandon Lawson story. His remains are out there somewhere for someone to maybe find him at some point.

Danny is a self serving POC. He has probably been being forgiven for lots of stuff his entire life. where is the Christian forgiveness he was raised with? he had none for his parents to when they made him angry. and so this whole forgiveness thing as it applies to Danny is completely backwards and meaningless.

Thanks for answering the question I had. If it was said in the documentary I missed it. He kidnapped Susan and her 2 sisters but I didn't hear them say what happened to the sisters. I'm glad he dropped them instead of killing them like he did with Michael.

Did they check the bus routes to see if he got on a bus after leaving the hospital instead of being picked up? Most hospitals have various bus routes in the area.

If his car was never found, is it possible he drove into the river, successfully got out of his car, but unfortunately drown due to the current? I have no idea how large this river is. Just a theory...

I love your podcast but the rumble in the background is quite hard to get over. Can you consider dropping the rumble please? 🙏

I've watched a documentary about this case on a German TV channel; Komisarjevsky's family only talked about his artwork and what an awesomely talented painter he was ... and, of course, that poor Joshua had been dragged into this "mess" by Steven Hayes. Some people's ability to outright deny anything negative about their offspring is mind-boggling.

"Jodi had no defensive wounds because she knew her attacker" -?! No, she had her hands bound behind her back, that's why.
