The Denver Nuggets win depite missing four of their five starters. Also, Jonas Valaciunas went down with a right leg injury. We're hoping to know more soon. The Denver Nuggets stayed within touch of the Miami Heat to close the 1st Half as they had the lead for just a few moments. As the 1st Half closed, Nikola Jokic was bumped into by Spencer Jones and goes down with an apparant leg injury. At the time of this posting, we don't have an update for you. Despite another monster triple double from Nikola Jokic (34-21-12), the Denver Nuggets lost again at the buzzer with the ball in their hands. The Nuggets saw fouls piling up in the 4th and the Nuggets inability to find a rhythm hindered them when they need to find one more gear in the final moments of the game. Jason Kosmicki has the call from Orlando, the first of seven stops for the Nuggets on this road trip.
Nikola Jokic had the 2nd 50-15-15 triple double in NBA history tonight and it was JUST ENOUGH to squeeze past the Minnesota Timberwolves. The Nuggets couldn't find their stride in the 4th but they found it in OT and it led to them not losing in dramatic fashion. Also, Anthony Edwards was ejected after a remarkable second half! Jason Kosmicki had the last call from Ball Arena for 2025!
Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray carried the Nuggets in stretches while the Nuggets battled back from a 21 point deficit. Tim Hardaway Jr. went SCORCHED EARTH in the 3rd Quarter to keep the Nuggets close. Despite Cooper Flagg and AD going off for Dallas, Denver had a chance late but Jokic passed up a pretty good layup for a great P-Wat three that fail short. Jason Kosmicki had the call of this one.
The Denver Nuggets had three players with 6 or more threes, they opened the game with a 19-0 run, and the Nuggets stars were able to rest in the 4th Quarter tonight! This was one of the best wire to wire wins for the Nuggets this season and yet Joker's triple double will go on the "under the radar" stats. So many things about this game showed why the Nuggets will be feared and Jason Kosmicki had the call from Ball Arena!
Nuggets Head Coach David Adelman received his first career ejection as the Nuggets lost to the Rockets 115-101.
The Nuggets extended their win streak to six on Thursday night, as they beat the Magic 126-115. Nikola Jokic also passed Kareem Abdul-Jabbar as the all-time assist leader for centers in league history.
The Avalanche went into the third period down 3-2, then scored three unanswered goals to beat the Kraken 5-3 in Seattle.
Nikola Jokic got his triple double but fouls came a dime a dozen tonight. As Joker fouled out, Jamal Murray and Spencer Jones made sure the Nuggets held on in OT to win! Peyton Watson went out with an injury but THJ and co. stepped up on his behalf. This is one of those crazy, fun games that only Jason Kosmicki can detail for you from Ball Arena!
The Colorado Avalanche extend their home win streak to 11 as they beat the Nashville Predators 4-2. Up next they take on the Seattle Kraken on Tuesday night.
The Denver Nuggets have now won their 11th straight road game! The Kings were just another victim as the Nuggets continue to extend their franchise record road winning streak. Nikola Jokic was ON FIRE and so was his backup Jonas Valanciunas! Jamal Murray was dishing and P-Wat was dunking! The Nuggets wrap up this road trip and now head back to Ball Arena Monday Night vs the Houston Rockets! Koz was on the call from Sacramento.
Cale Makar forces OT with eight seconds left to go in regulation, but the Avalanche couldn't finish the drill and lost the shootout 4-3 to the Predators in Nashville. Up next, the Avalanche return home to Ball Arena to take on the Panthers.
