Every scandal begins with a lie. But the truth will come out. And then comes the fallout and the outrage.
Scandals have shaped America since its founding. From business and politics to sports and society, we look on aghast as corruption, deceit and ambition bring down heroes and celebrities, politicians and moguls. And when the dust finally settles, we’re left to wonder: how did this happen? Where did they trip up, and who is to blame? From the creators of American History Tellers, Business Wars and Tides of History comes American Scandal, where we take you deep into the heart of America’s dark side to look at what drives someone to break the rules and what happens when they’re caught. Hosted by Lindsay Graham.

Monica Lewinsky will NEVER clear her reputation. Especially after Kash Patel releases Jeffrey Espitines list, and what Bill Clinton fully did on Espitines Island comes out in the open.
too many commercials. :(
why were so many old episodes removed?
well.... that's unfortunate. good thing there are other podcasts to listen to. not all of us can (or will) jump to paying for another podcast
does this mean you won't be recycling older episodes? That sounds like a plus to me.
Is that how this episode ends?
extend the flaps, not retract them

This is a great podcast! Well done.
there is a lot of blame yo go around but I feel like we often overlook Schneider. he knew koresh couldn't walk out of there. he should have told the followers the plan for surrender was still in effect when he 1st went back on it. that day or the very many others that followed. koresh couldn't have done much of anything about it. and if spouses can be held accountable for carrying out their husband's/wife's crime, so can his cult leader.
I like this podcast and narrator a lot, but I wish he'd use voice actors. It can get a little confusing at times
They couldn't get a guy to do the male voices, or even Lindsey? it's kinda weird...
What's the name of the movie?
Anyone who justifies killing innocent people is not rational!
Her boyfriend was a coward.
Give us Boeing Whistle Blowers sandals. Now that they are mysteriously dying.
Define "assault weapon", please.
The world's current politically correct, cancel culture regime is far more disturbing than anything Lenny faced. He would be downright ashamed of the place we've allowed this craziness to take us.
If WikiLeaks was really "about doing what's right" they would've turned in their rapist-in-chief instead of paying for his lawyers to delay justice for as long as they can. 🙄
I can't even imagine the stress of trying to avert a nuclear disaster. This story is insane!
thank you for this info nformation.., it may save many people
Ohhhhhh shit! I just listened to this episode for the first time on March 1st 2024. WOW, She called.
I know the police have so much pressure on the job to squash the. out of control criminal element something has to change.
funny how that happens.
Gee..cop goes away after not finding anything...cheese back...finds some dope. hmmmm...

This show is too sympathetic toward an infamous killer. There is no excuse for terrorism, no matter the rationalization. Bombing people could never achieve any ends justifying the means, even if you buy intto utilitarian ethics, which are suspect to say the least. The arrogance and evil of this guy was only rivaled by his utter heartlessness. And the show seems to imply that had others acted differently, maybe this wouldn't have happened. No. He had no right to try to dictate others' lives.
please stop advertising on this podcast! this is a well thought out, thought provoking podcast. yours is about meaningless celebrity bs

I've loved this podcast since its' inception and the reenactments & research that goes into every storylines keeps me hooked As soon as I hear the music I settle down and get ready to lose myself for a few hours
this episode has absolutely nothing to do with the Dust Bowl or what caused it! I'm so disappointed that Lindsey would use this otherwise awesome podcast to push this Liberal agenda against ethanol and big agriculture firms. I guess every grain elevator in the country should be shut down because of the dust created during harvest!
