Every scandal begins with a lie. But the truth will come out. And then comes the fallout and the outrage.
Scandals have shaped America since its founding. From business and politics to sports and society, we look on aghast as corruption, deceit and ambition bring down heroes and celebrities, politicians and moguls. And when the dust finally settles, we’re left to wonder: how did this happen? Where did they trip up, and who is to blame? From the creators of American History Tellers, Business Wars and Tides of History comes American Scandal, where we take you deep into the heart of America’s dark side to look at what drives someone to break the rules and what happens when they’re caught. Hosted by Lindsay Graham.

I've loved this podcast since its' inception and the reenactments & research that goes into every storylines keeps me hooked As soon as I hear the music I settle down and get ready to lose myself for a few hours
this episode has absolutely nothing to do with the Dust Bowl or what caused it! I'm so disappointed that Lindsey would use this otherwise awesome podcast to push this Liberal agenda against ethanol and big agriculture firms. I guess every grain elevator in the country should be shut down because of the dust created during harvest!

Ending one's life (or not) is a personal choice. No one else has the right to make that decision for you. Fuck Jim Jones.
interesting
wooow
I hope Hoffman's tombstone is regularly vandalized
Do a 10 part episode on the corruption going on under ol fuckface biden right now
I feel all politicians are crooks for the most par, yes there are some good ones, but in general they work for themselves and not the people. it is sad. personally, Biden or Trump should not run. they are to fucking old and too selfish they should both back out. their egos won't let them though so 4 more years of a divided houses and nothing completed. whoo hoo! also, what's with the Supreme Court. they should be tending to as many cases they can within a year. all just one Americans opinion, who lives paycheck to paycheck!
stoked I found this series
Good choice of subject. Agnew was a low life. I am in possession of a scan of a letter he wrote on the 24th of September 1982. In it, he said amongst other things: "opinion leaders seem to cling to the fallacy that Jews, because of the so-called holocaust, can do no wrong".
Too much testosterone did not help this situation, just sayin'
Percentage of opioid overdose deaths caused by fentanyl: Before the 2016 CDC guidelines: 6% After the 2016 CDC guidelines: 66% CDC created the black market for fentanyl when they tried to strongarm doctors and patients out of a complex, decades-long sociomedical problem overnight. They should have known better: it's always a disaster when politicians and regulators try to play doctor.
If only Comey had been as interested in prosecuting political campaign interference...
interesting story
Opioids have a low risk of addiction *when used appropriately*. That means for short term, acute, or postoperative pain ONLY. The problem is they work for everything; they work all too well at relieving all types of pain, and the options for treating chronic pain or emotional pain are too few or too expensive for most patients to access.
Judge Hoffman should have been tossed into a wood chipper!!!
