Christmas time is here and we're ghosts of the Victorian, dust-bowl children in the tintype photos mysteriously mailed to Christine! Put on a crackling fire (or crackling fireplace video) and settle in for some holiday surprises because we've got some doozies. First up, Eva gives Christine the gift of reading the first three stories that shed some very elucidating light on said stack of haphazard photos, including the mysterious and potentially haunted mailer herself. Then Em gets their turn at a gift in the form of a tell-all direct from a Duggars-adjacent listener. And then all hell breaks loose with the scary, festive stories - everything from lime green ghost priests reading their last rights to eerily realistic dreams of underworlds hidden in the floorboards and finally all the way to heartwarming doggie Secret Santas. Hasafwa Holidays to all and to all a Hasafwa Holidays! ...and that's why we drink! We're going back on tour! You two always say people stop listening because you banter instead of telling the story, but I truly love your banter. You two are so funny! You do eventually get to the story and then I find myself laughing while listening to dark stories, which is such an odd feeling. Never stop! 🤣

I USED TO WATCH THE MOLE ON VHS! He's the reason I like the environment so much! There's a video where a city is built over their forest home and it made me cry. The Mole and the Green Star was the other vhs of him I had 😭💕💕

I’ve loved you both & the show for years, but you care WAY too much what others think. I get it- you’re on a public platform & have responsibilities, but discernment IS important (as you’ve learned per the convo in this episode). You’re both conscientious people & while we all know language is important & evolving, tiptoeing around everyone’s feelings on a constant basis is exhausting & isn’t fair to do to yourself. You have a great thing going here- don’t overthink so much! Happy spooky season.

Good episode, except the eating. Dear Lord, please stop eating while you're talking! It does not translate well into earbuds.

They're not the worst podcast, and I won't fault the one for drinking milkshakes...if I didn't drink liquor, maybe it would be my choice to. All I WILL say is that if EVERYTHING is gasp worthy, then nothing is...
