Anger leads us to sin
Ephesians 4:26-27
King James Version
26 Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:
27 Neither give place to the devil.
New Living Translation
26 And “don’t sin by letting anger control in you.”[a] Don’t let the sun go down while you are still angry, 27 for anger gives a foothold to the devil.
2-Anger makes us corrupt and dishonest.
Ephesians 4:29-30
King James Version
29 Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.
30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.
New Living Translation
29 Don’t use foul or abusive language. Let everything you say be good and helpful, so that your words will be an encouragement to those who hear them.
30 And do not bring sorrow to God’s Holy Spirit by the way you live. Remember, he has identified you as his own,[a] guaranteeing that you will be saved on the day of redemption.
3- Avoiding anger helps being kind to all .
Ephesians 4:31-32

31 Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:
32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.
Psalm 37:8

Jesus Predicts Peter’s Denial
31 “Simon, Simon, Satan has asked to sift each of you like wheat. 32 But I have pleaded in prayer for you, Simon, that your faith should not fail. So when you have repented and turned to me again, strengthen your brothers.”
- [x] 1-Why do we have to pray?
-Prayer is essential for Christians to live a spiritual life.
-Without a life of prayer it becomes impossible to live a spiritual life.
-This is why every Christian on this earth needs to understand that it’s essential to pray about everything.
Every decision, action or desire.
-Without prayer the will of God cannot manifest.
-Without prayer we tend to act on our own will and our own understanding/thoughts.
Our thoughts .The way we think determines our destiny wether is for good or bad .
Your thoughts about God ,Sin and salvation determines your destiny. .. What were David’s thoughts? And most importantly what did he communicate to the enemy.? To Goliath
Let’s learn from David his response to the giant.
1 Samuel 17:46-47
New Living Translation
46 Today the Lord will conquer you, and I will kill you and cut off your head. And then I will give the dead bodies of your men to the birds and wild animals, and the whole world will know that there is a God in Israel!
47 And everyone assembled here will know that the Lord rescues his people, but not with sword and spear. This is the Lord’s battle, and he will give you to us!”
What are your thoughts while facing a giant?
How do you respond?
To believe or not to believe.?
Our thoughts determine our trust in God.
Philippians 4:8 NLT
8 And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.
Our thoughts , the way we think determines our destiny wether is for good or bad .
Your thoughts about God ,Sin and salvation determines your destiny.
To believe or not to believe.?
2 Corinthians 10:5
King James Version
5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;
The final message of “To defeat the devil take your position not your condition “. What are the levels we need elevate our selfs to to defeat the enemy? Level 8-11
(Please excuse the technical dificulties )
Acts 19:13-16
New Living Translation
13 A group of Jews was traveling from town to town casting out evil spirits. They tried to use the name of the Lord Jesus in their incantation, saying, “I command you in the name of Jesus, whom Paul preaches, to come out!” 14 Seven sons of Sceva, a leading priest, were doing this. 15 But one time when they tried it, the evil spirit replied, “I know Jesus, and I know Paul, but who are you?” 16 Then the man with the evil spirit leaped on them, overpowered them, and attacked them with such violence that they fled from the house, naked and battered
What can we learn from this passage?
1 -If we want to defeat our enemy . Satan
We must be above him.
Our battle position should be superior to the devils strategy.
If we try to face him on his territory he will defeat us.
As Christians ,Joy doesn’t come from things of this world but of God. No matter our circumstances ,as believers we know our joy is in God alone.
God has adopted humanity as his children. You and I have been adopted to be called children of God .this is God’s great love.
Some have Accepted God’s love of a father, others have rejected and continue to reject the love of God as a father our heavenly father.
Ephesians 1:5
King James Version
5 Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,
A famous saying says: position changes situation.
To defeat the devil we must be over him.
And sometimes our life condition doesn’t help much . As Believers we must remember to elevate or condition to God in prayer to take us to the position of a son and daughter of God. This is how we will always have the advantage in spiritual warfare.
