At regular intervals a rapper with such amazing capacity tags along it makes you question what’s conceivable in the class. Smino is one of those rappers. Episode 01: Turn Lights Down For a Moment

Upon this every soul was confounded; for the phenomenon just then observed by Ahab had unaccountably escaped every one else; but its very blinding palpableness must have been the cause. But suddenly reined back by some counter thought, he hurried towards the helm, huskily demanding how the ship was heading. He is too sound asleep, Mr. Stubb; go thou down, and wake him, and tell him. I must see to the deck here. Thou know’st what to say. Next morning the not-yet-subsided sea rolled in long slow billows of mighty bulk, and striving in the Pequod’s gurgling track, pushed her on like giants’ palms outspread. The strong, unstaggering breeze abounded so, that sky and air seemed vast outbellying sails; the whole world boomed before the wind. Muffled in the full morning light, the invisible sun was only known by the spread intensity of his place; where his bayonet rays moved on in stacks. Emblazonings, as of crowned Babylonian kings and queens, reigned over everything. The sea was as a crucible of molten gold, that bubblingly leaps with light and heat. Long maintaining an enchanted silence, Ahab stood apart; and every time the tetering ship loweringly pitched down her bowsprit, he turned to eye the bright sun’s rays produced ahead; and when she profoundly settled by the stern, he turned behind, and saw the sun’s rearward place, and how the same yellow rays were blending with his undeviating wake. “Ha, ha, my ship! thou mightest well be taken now for the sea-chariot of the sun. Ho, ho! all ye nations before my prow, I bring the sun to ye! Yoke on the further billows; hallo! a tandem, I drive the sea!” But suddenly reined back by some counter thought, he hurried towards the helm, huskily demanding how the ship was heading. “East-sou-east, sir,” said the frightened steersman. “Thou liest!” smiting him with his clenched fist. “Heading East at this hour in the morning, and the sun astern?”

Save ‘Democratold,’ Not Democracy: The Democrat’s Real Message

Save ‘Democratold,’ Not Democracy: The Democrats’ Real Message The Democratic establishment’s recent actions have exposed their true priorities – not preserving democracy, but preserving their old guard’s power structure. Let’s analyze what really happened with Kamala Harris’s nomination and what it tells us about the state of Democratic Party politics. First, consider the unprecedented situation: Harris, who dropped out of the 2020 primary before receiving a single vote and faced zero competition in 2024, was essentially crowned by the DNC. This isn’t democracy in action – it’s political aristocracy. The math is simple: 2020 Primary: 0 votes for Harris2024 Primary: Nominated without competitionDemocratic voters consulted: None This orchestrated succession plan reveals the party elite’s real strategy – maintaining control at all costs. They’re not protecting democracy; they’re protecting their entrenched power structure. What’s particularly telling is how the establishment sidelined any potential challengers. No debates. No competing visions. No choice for Democratic voters. Just a predetermined outcome dressed up as democratic process. The irony shouldn’t be lost on anyone – while claiming to “save democracy,” the Democratic leadership has demonstrated their willingness to bypass actual democratic processes to maintain their grip on power. This isn’t about preserving our republic – it’s about preserving “Democratold,” the old guard’s control over their party machinery. For those genuinely concerned about democratic principles, this should be a wake-up call. When a party preaches democracy while practicing aristocracy, it’s time to question their true motives. It’s time we, the people, take our government back. Follow me on X, Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook. I’m Andy Parrish, I’m right – Deal with it!

The Abortion Bus Tour: Take a Ride on Kamala’s Super Fun & Super Amazing Abortion Bus!

Taking a Ride on Kamala’s Super Fun, Super Amazing Abortion Bus In the latest episode of The Andy Parrish Show, I delve into the controversial and eyebrow-raising concept of Kamala Harris’ “Abortion Bus Tour.” If you’re thinking, “What on earth is that?” — you’re not alone. But this is where the left’s relentless push for extreme abortion policies meets the absurdity of modern political theater. The “Abortion Bus” is a new and almost absurd example of how far the Democratic Party is willing to go to market their stance on abortion. Harris has become a champion for abortion rights, and with that comes a willingness to promote policies that are often controversial and divisive. In this episode, I take a deeper look at the implications of this tour, not just from a political perspective, but from a cultural one as well. The Political Narrative We start by examining the timing of this so-called “tour.” Kamala Harris and other Democratic leaders are certainly trying to rally their base, but I can’t help but wonder — is this the best way to go about it? The promotion of abortion, especially in such an overt and almost theatrical manner, is bound to have consequences. By framing abortion rights as a “fun” or “cool” cause, it may further alienate voters who are concerned about the moral implications of such policies. The progressive left has made abortion a central issue in recent years, and Harris has become one of its most vocal advocates. Yet, the more she and her party push these boundaries, the more they risk deepening the divides within the nation. It’s one thing to advocate for women’s rights and reproductive choice, but it’s quite another to minimize the complex and deeply emotional aspects of abortion in a flashy, touristic way. A Cultural Moment But beyond politics, there’s a cultural aspect at play here. The way the left is marketing abortion rights isn’t just a political debate — it’s shaping the narrative around personal responsibility, morality, and the future of life itself. In our modern world, everything seems to be a show. And Kamala’s abortion bus tour is the latest in a long line of stunts aimed at capturing the attention of a population increasingly desensitized to serious issues. Abortion is not a topic to be treated lightly, yet the marketing surrounding it is often more aligned with consumerism and entertainment. In the episode, I discuss how this approach plays into the broader trend of commodifying sensitive issues for political gain. Is this how we should handle matters of such magnitude? Or is the spectacle turning a tragedy into a political product? The Impact on the Voters Of course, the real question is: How does this affect voters? Many may find the theatrics of the abortion bus offensive, shallow, or manipulative. Others may see it as a bold, progressive stance. Either way, one thing is certain — this move is not going unnoticed. It’s setting the stage for intense debates not just about abortion, but about how far politicians will go to promote their agendas. In the episode, I take a hard look at these implications, discussing how such tactics play into the broader electoral landscape and what it means for both the Democratic and Republican parties heading into 2024. Are they gaining support with these extreme positions, or are they alienating potential allies? Conclusion: What Can We Do? Whether you agree with Kamala Harris’ position on abortion or not, the “Abortion Bus Tour” represents the extreme lengths to which politicians will go to win favor with their base. It’s a bizarre moment in our political history, and I urge you to take a closer look at the consequences of treating such a serious issue as just another spectacle. Now, more than ever, it’s time for us, the people, to stand up and demand better from our leaders. We can’t allow these political stunts to define our future.

The News Reader’s (AKA ‘Journalists’) Gambit: Saving Kamala to Save Themselves

The News Readers (aka Journalists) Gambit: Saving Kamala to Save Themselves In the realm of modern journalism, objectivity has become a relic of the past. Today’s so-called journalists are less about reporting the news and more about shaping narratives to serve their own interests. Nowhere is this more evident than in their desperate attempts to prop up Vice-President Kamala Harris. On this episode of The Andy Parrish Show, we explore how the media’s gambit to save Kamala Harris is less about her and more about saving their own crumbling credibility. Journalism’s Identity Crisis For years, the mainstream media has operated not as a check on power but as a megaphone for the Democratic Party. From glossing over policy failures to painting dissent as “misinformation,” they’ve abandoned their duty to the public in favor of partisan activism. Kamala Harris has been a challenge for them. From her mishandling of the border crisis to her widely panned public appearances, Harris is a liability they can’t afford. Yet, rather than holding her accountable, the media bends over backward to reframe her missteps as strengths. Saving Kamala to Save Themselves Why the relentless defense of Kamala Harris? The answer is simple: their credibility is tied to her success. If Harris fails, it’s not just a political defeat; it’s an indictment of the media machine that elevated her. The media’s gambit is clear—they aim to rehabilitate her image not because of her achievements, but because their reputations depend on it. This isn’t journalism; it’s damage control masquerading as reporting. The Bigger Picture This media strategy is emblematic of a larger issue: the erosion of trust in our institutions. When journalists prioritize agendas over facts, they do more than undermine their profession—they destabilize the foundation of a free and informed society. The American people deserve better. We deserve a media that challenges power, seeks truth, and respects the intelligence of its audience. Instead, we’re left with news readers pushing narratives that serve themselves, not the public. It’s time we, the people, take our government back. Follow me on X, Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook. I’m Andy Parrish, I’m right – Deal with it!

Property Tax Deception: La Crosse School District’s Scheme to Pass an Unnecessary Referendum

Property Tax Deception: La Crosse School District’s Scheme to Pass an Unnecessary Referendum In today’s economic climate, every dollar matters to hardworking families. Yet, the La Crosse School District seems determined to pad its coffers at the expense of taxpayers, using deceptive tactics to pass an unnecessary referendum. On this episode of The Andy Parrish Show, we expose the truth behind their property tax scheme and discuss why it’s time to push back against this kind of fiscal irresponsibility. A Referendum Based on Misdirection The La Crosse School District claims it needs more funding to improve education, but a closer look reveals a different story. Enrollment numbers are declining, state and federal funds are abundant, and administrative costs are ballooning without tangible results. So why the push for a referendum? It’s simple: more money means more power. By framing this as an investment in our children’s future, the district avoids addressing its real problem—wasteful spending and mismanagement. Taxpayers are being misled into believing their sacrifice is necessary when, in reality, the funds are not. The Cost to Families If this referendum passes, property taxes in La Crosse will increase significantly, putting additional strain on families already grappling with rising costs. For many, this is not just a financial inconvenience; it’s a burden that threatens their ability to stay in their homes. Meanwhile, the district’s administrators continue to receive generous salaries and benefits, insulated from the struggles faced by the very people funding their budgets. This isn’t about better schools; it’s about maintaining a bloated bureaucracy at the taxpayers’ expense. The Path Forward It’s time for the La Crosse School District to prioritize fiscal responsibility over tax increases. Instead of demanding more from taxpayers, they should focus on streamlining operations, cutting unnecessary expenses, and making better use of the funds they already receive. Local governments and school districts need to remember they serve the public, not the other way around. Taxpayers deserve transparency, accountability, and policies that respect their hard-earned money. It’s time we, the people, take our government back. The Debt Game: How Continuing Resolutions and Debt Ceiling Increases Feed China’s Economic Strategy

The Debt Game: How Continuing Resolutions and Debt Ceiling Increases Feed China’s Economic Strategy America’s debt crisis isn’t just a domestic issue—it’s a geopolitical vulnerability. With each continuing resolution and debt ceiling increase, we’re playing right into the hands of our greatest adversary: China. In this episode of The Andy Parrish Show, I break down how our fiscal irresponsibility is strengthening the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) long-term strategy while weakening America’s economic standing and national security. The Debt Spiral The federal government’s reliance on continuing resolutions to keep itself running is a glaring symptom of its inability to live within its means. Instead of addressing our spending problem, Congress continues to kick the can down the road, relying on debt ceiling increases to sustain an unsustainable trajectory. Meanwhile, China is watching—and waiting. The CCP knows that a financially unstable America is a weaker America. As our national debt climbs, so does our reliance on foreign creditors, including China. This isn’t just bad economics; it’s a direct threat to our sovereignty. China’s Economic Chess Game China’s Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) is a calculated move to expand its global influence, often by indebting other nations. The irony? We’re doing to ourselves what China is doing to the developing world. By mortgaging our future, we’re allowing the CCP to gain leverage over us. Every dollar we borrow to finance our ballooning deficits is another dollar China can use to fund its military, expand its technological dominance, and tighten its grip on the global economy. This isn’t just a numbers game; it’s a strategy of economic warfare. The Way Forward Reversing this trend starts with fiscal discipline. We must demand that our leaders prioritize cutting unnecessary spending, balancing budgets, and reducing our reliance on debt. It’s not just about financial responsibility—it’s about preserving our position as a global leader and protecting our national security. America can’t afford to play this game any longer. The stakes are too high, and the consequences of losing are too severe. It’s time for a new strategy—one that prioritizes accountability, independence, and the long-term prosperity of our nation. Drop Box Deception: The Fraud Behind ‘Democratold’

Link to the Mayor of Wausau story Side-by-side comparison chart of 2016 votes without drop boxes and 2020 votes with drop boxes, broken down by county in Wisconsin. Drop Box Deception: The Fraud Behind “Democratold” In the digital age, where convenience reigns supreme, ballot drop boxes were marketed as a solution to streamline the voting process. But like many ideas with a veneer of practicality, the devil is in the details. In this episode of The Andy Parrish Show, we peel back the layers on what I call “Democratold”—the old, tired tactics of election manipulation disguised as innovation. The Drop Box Dilemma Drop boxes were championed as a way to increase voter participation, particularly during the pandemic. But the truth is far murkier. These unattended and often poorly regulated boxes present a glaring vulnerability in our electoral system. From ballot harvesting to outright tampering, the potential for fraud is staggering. And let’s not ignore the selective placement of these boxes. In swing states and key districts, the disproportionate distribution of drop boxes raises serious questions about fairness and intent. If these were truly about increasing access for everyone, why are they so concentrated in areas that conveniently align with Democrat strongholds? The Mechanics of Fraud Election integrity experts have long warned about the risks associated with unsupervised drop boxes. Here are just a few of the red flags: Chain of Custody: Without proper oversight, how can we guarantee that ballots are handled securely and lawfully? Ballot Harvesting: This practice, often couched in the language of “helping voters,” creates opportunities for coercion and manipulation. Lack of Transparency: Who’s monitoring these drop boxes? And where’s the accountability for discrepancies in the ballot counts? The left likes to dismiss these concerns as conspiracy theories, but the evidence suggests otherwise. From Project Veritas investigations to firsthand accounts from whistleblowers, the cracks in the system are undeniable. Why “Democratold” Is Failing America The Democrat strategy relies on deception wrapped in the language of fairness. They tell us these measures are about inclusivity, yet their execution reeks of selective advantages. It’s an old playbook—manipulate the rules to favor your side while branding any opposition as “anti-democratic.” The result? Eroded trust in the electoral system. When Americans doubt the integrity of their vote, the very foundation of our republic is shaken. This isn’t just about winning or losing an election; it’s about preserving the legitimacy of the democratic process itself. The Fight for Election Integrity So, what can we do? First, we must demand accountability. This means rigorous oversight of ballot drop boxes, transparency in their placement, and severe penalties for those who exploit the system. Second, we need to push for election reforms that prioritize security without sacrificing accessibility—measures like voter ID, signature verification, and real-time monitoring. The left would have you believe that these steps are about disenfranchisement. But the real disenfranchisement comes when legitimate votes are diluted by fraudulent ones. A Call to Action The battle for election integrity isn’t just a conservative issue; it’s an American issue. Every citizen, regardless of party, deserves to have faith in the electoral process. We can’t afford to let the deception of “Democratold” undermine the voice of the people. It’s time we, the people, take our government back. Follow me on X, Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook. Metallica, Tacos, and Politics: A Spicy Chat with Trump Sr. Advisor Corey Lewandowski

Metallica, Tacos, and Politics: A Spicy Chat with Trump Sr. Advisor Corey Lewandowski Sometimes the best conversations happen over good food, great music, and a heavy dose of political insight. On this episode of The Andy Parrish Show, I sat down with Corey Lewandowski, Senior Advisor to Donald Trump and one of the sharpest minds in modern conservative politics, for a no-holds-barred discussion. From the legacy of Metallica to the art of making the perfect taco, we dove into what it takes to energize the conservative movement—and how culture and politics are more connected than you might think. The Politics of Influence Corey Lewandowski isn’t just a political advisor; he’s a strategist who understands the pulse of the American electorate. In our chat, we discussed the importance of speaking directly to the people, bypassing media filters, and crafting a message that resonates with everyday Americans. Corey’s insight into how Trump captured—and continues to captivate—the hearts of millions is a masterclass in modern political campaigning. But it’s not just about messaging; it’s about momentum. Corey emphasized the need for conservatives to stay united, focused, and unapologetic in defending our values. “We’re not in the business of making friends with the left,” Corey said. “We’re here to win.” Metallica and the Conservative Fight Song As we transitioned to music, Corey revealed his love for Metallica—a band that, much like Trump’s movement, refuses to conform. Their unapologetic style and relentless drive mirror the conservative ethos of standing firm in the face of opposition. Music, Corey argued, has the power to galvanize people. It’s a cultural battleground where conservatives can reclaim the narrative. Just as Metallica’s heavy riffs inspire rebellion against the norm, conservatives can harness cultural symbols to rally people toward a renewed fight for liberty and limited government. Tacos and Authentic Connections Of course, no conversation with Corey Lewandowski would be complete without some culinary flair. We swapped taco recipes and shared laughs over the universal truth: everyone loves tacos. But even this lighthearted topic had a deeper resonance. Corey reminded us that politics isn’t just about policies—it’s about people. “Whether you’re making tacos or running a campaign,” Corey said, “you have to connect with people authentically. That’s how you build trust and loyalty.” The Future of the Conservative Movement Our conversation wasn’t just about looking back; it was about looking forward. Corey shared his thoughts on how conservatives can regain control of the cultural and political narrative, one that has been dominated by leftist ideologies for too long. His advice? Stay bold. Stay focused. And most importantly, stay true to the values that made America great in the first place. Let’s Keep the Conversation Going Corey Lewandowski’s passion for politics and culture is contagious. Whether you’re a Metallica fan, a taco enthusiast, or just someone who wants to see America thrive, there’s something in this conversation for everyone. Election Night Blueprint: The Path to a GOP Victory

Election Night Blueprint: The Path to a GOP Victory The stakes couldn’t be higher. With the next election looming, conservatives find themselves at a pivotal moment. If the GOP intends to secure victory, it’s not enough to rely on rhetoric, tradition, or the hope that the pendulum will swing back to the right. It’s time to take a hard, analytical look at the blueprint for success—the strategies, tactics, and principles that can forge a clear path to victory. On the latest episode of The Andy Parrish Show, we dissect the “Election Night Blueprint” for a GOP win, breaking it down into actionable steps. This blog post serves as a companion to that discussion, offering a deeper dive into the key points raised and the urgent calls to action every conservative voter, candidate, and leader needs to hear. Build a Coalition Without Compromise The GOP’s strength has always been its ability to unite a diverse coalition of conservatives, libertarians, independents, and even disillusioned Democrats. But in recent years, the party’s messaging has become fragmented. To secure victory, the GOP must return to a big-tent philosophy without sacrificing core principles. The focus should be on economic empowerment, parental rights in education, securing borders, and protecting the Constitution. These issues resonate across demographics. The messaging must be clear, unapologetic, and aimed at inspiring both the base and the undecided voters who feel alienated by the left’s overreach. Master the Ground Game Elections aren’t won on social media—they’re won in neighborhoods, communities, and precincts. The Democrats’ success in recent cycles has been fueled by an unrivaled ground game: voter registration drives, door-to-door canvassing, and get-out-the-vote efforts that leave no stone unturned. The GOP must meet this challenge head-on. Grassroots efforts need to be turbocharged, with volunteers and resources deployed strategically in battleground states. Churches, civic organizations, and community groups can play a critical role in mobilizing voters who feel disconnected from the process. Embrace Data-Driven Strategies The era of gut-instinct campaigning is over. Democrats have leveraged data analytics to target voters with surgical precision. Conservatives must do the same, utilizing advanced voter modeling, microtargeting, and predictive analytics to understand and influence voter behavior. But data alone isn’t enough. The GOP must also invest in the technology and talent needed to convert insights into action. From digital advertising to text message campaigns, the tools of modern campaigning must be deployed with precision and scale. Counter the Media Narrative It’s no secret that conservatives face an uphill battle in the mainstream media. But instead of playing the victim, the GOP must adopt a proactive media strategy. Candidates and surrogates need to dominate the airwaves, flood social media with compelling content, and leverage alternative platforms to bypass traditional gatekeepers. Moreover, conservatives must learn to frame the debate. Instead of reacting to the left’s talking points, the GOP should set the agenda, forcing opponents to defend their positions on crime, inflation, and the erosion of freedoms. Control the narrative, and you control the campaign. Election Integrity is Non-Negotiable Voter confidence is the bedrock of a functioning democracy. Yet concerns about election integrity remain widespread. The GOP must champion reforms that ensure transparency, fairness, and security in the electoral process—without alienating voters by appearing to undermine faith in the system. Promoting voter ID laws, enhancing poll-watching efforts, and educating voters on how to ensure their ballot is counted are all essential steps. But perhaps the most critical component is emphasizing the importance of turnout. The best way to counteract potential irregularities is overwhelming participation. The “Kitchen Table” Connec

As I See It: Unity?

For As I See It, I’m Andy Parrish. Kamala Harris calling for “unity”? That’s just precious. Coming from the same party that treated Trump like the main event in their own twisted gladiator game? They weaponized every corner of government—FBI, DOJ, IRS—against him. If they could’ve sicced the mailman on him, they would have. For eight years, “unity” was the last thing on their minds. They dragged this country through two impeachments, endless hearings, investigations, witch hunts galore—and all they got was a big, fat zero. But now, because they’re the ones feeling the heat, they think they can slap a COEXIST sticker on it, and we’re all supposed to sing “Kumbaya”? Hypocrisy is putting it lightly. The Church’s Battle Cry: Reclaiming the Pulpit in Politics

The Church’s Battle Cry: Reclaiming the Pulpit in Politics For too long, the church has been told to stay silent on political matters, as if faith and governance occupy separate, untouchable spheres. But this silence has come at a cost. The church’s retreat from the public square has allowed a moral vacuum to emerge, one that secularism and relativism have been all too eager to fill. It’s time for the church to reclaim its rightful place in shaping our nation’s moral and political direction. The False Wall of Separation The oft-cited “separation of church and state” is one of the most misunderstood phrases in American political discourse. Originally intended to prevent government interference in religion, it has been weaponized to silence religious voices in political debates. This misuse of the principle has led to a culture where faith leaders are discouraged from addressing critical issues of morality, justice, and governance—issues that are inherently tied to the principles of faith. The church has a long history of influencing political change. From the abolitionist movement to the Civil Rights Movement, religious leaders have been at the forefront of advocating for justice and equality. To suggest that the church should now retreat is not only historically inaccurate but a disservice to the transformative power of faith in action. A Moral Compass in a Wayward World As society drifts further into moral ambiguity, the church must rise as a beacon of truth. Issues such as abortion, marriage, parental rights, and religious liberty are not just political issues; they are moral imperatives. If the church remains silent, who will speak for the voiceless? Who will defend the sanctity of life and the family unit? When pastors and religious leaders shy away from political engagement, they abandon their responsibility to shepherd their flock in all aspects of life—including civic duty. A gospel that speaks only to personal salvation while ignoring societal responsibility is incomplete. The church must reclaim the pulpit as a platform not just for spiritual edification, but for cultural and political transformation. The Call to Action Reclaiming the pulpit in politics doesn’t mean endorsing candidates or political parties. It means boldly proclaiming truth and equipping believers to live out their faith in every arena of life. It means encouraging congregations to vote their values, engage in their communities, and hold leaders accountable. It means refusing to cede ground to ideologies that run counter to biblical truth. The church’s silence has been mistaken for consent by those who seek to marginalize religious influence. But the tide is turning. From grassroots movements to national campaigns, believers are beginning to awaken to the reality that their faith must inform their politics—not the other way around. Let the Church Rise The pulpit must once again become the battle cry for righteousness, justice, and truth in America. This is not a call to create a theocracy but to reestablish a moral foundation that respects the rights of all while standing firm on eternal principles. The church’s role in politics is not optional; it is essential. The future of our nation depends on whether people of faith will rise to the occasion, reclaim their voice, and engage with conviction in shaping the laws and culture of this land. It’s time we, the people, take our government back. Follow me on X, Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook. I’m Andy Parrish, I’m right – Deal with it!

U.S. Department of Education: A failure

As I see it, I’m Andy Parish. For over 40 years, the U.S. Department of Education has been a black hole for taxpayer dollars. We’ve thrown billions into the system, yet reading and math scores are plummeting, literacy rates are barely hanging on, and we’re lagging behind other countries in STEM. How much money would you throw into a rusty old car before realizing, Hey, it’s time for an upgrade. That’s what we’ve been doing with the Department of Education. It’s not an engine for progress. It’s a clunker that’s draining resources while our kids fall further behind. Trump’s plan to shut down the department is long overdue. It’s been a decades long crisis, only getting worse and has only consistently failed our children. It’s time to empower local school boards and give them the resources they need to provide our kids with a quality education. Let’s invest in our future and put an end to this failed experiment. Our kids can’t afford to wait any longer. I’m Andy Parish on WIZM.

The Trap of Unity: Why Compromise is Destroying Conservatism

The Trap of Unity: Why Compromise is Destroying Conservatism The concept of unity often evokes a sense of hope and collective purpose—a noble aspiration that, on the surface, seems vital to a thriving democracy. However, unity at all costs can become a Trojan horse, especially when compromise dilutes core principles. In today’s political landscape, the conservative movement finds itself ensnared in this trap of unity, where the relentless push for bipartisan harmony threatens its foundational ideals. Unity vs. Principles At its core, conservatism champions timeless principles: limited government, individual liberty, fiscal responsibility, and traditional values. Yet, in the name of unity, conservatives are often pressured to water down these beliefs to find “common ground.” The result? Policy compromises that not only fail to serve conservative objectives but actively undermine them. Take recent debates on spending, immigration, or cultural issues. Efforts to reach across the aisle have frequently left conservatives with watered-down legislation that increases government overreach, dilutes border security measures, or concedes cultural battlegrounds. When principles are compromised, the conservative movement risks losing its identity and, ultimately, its effectiveness. The Cost of Compromise Compromise isn’t inherently bad. In fact, the art of negotiation is essential in a pluralistic society. However, compromise becomes dangerous when it consistently moves the goalposts, pulling one side closer to the other’s agenda without meaningful reciprocity. This is the reality conservatives face: a perpetual retreat from their values in the name of avoiding conflict or appearing obstructionist. When conservatives cave on critical issues, it signals to their base that principles are negotiable, eroding trust and engagement among grassroots supporters. Worse, it emboldens the opposition, who see compromise not as a gesture of goodwill but as a sign of weakness to exploit further. Why This Matters The trap of unity is not just a political problem—it’s a cultural one. Conservatives are often labeled as divisive or extreme simply for holding firm to their beliefs. This social pressure, amplified by media narratives, creates an environment where standing on principle is framed as a barrier to progress. Yet, true progress cannot be achieved by abandoning the values that have defined the conservative movement for generations. Moreover, this relentless pursuit of compromise has broader implications for the nation. When one side consistently capitulates, the balance that is supposed to define our democratic system is disrupted. Instead of fostering healthy debate and robust policymaking, we end up with a lopsided discourse where conservative ideas are marginalized. A New Path Forward Rather than falling into the trap of unity, conservatives must champion a new approach: one that prioritizes principle over popularity, integrity over appeasement. This doesn’t mean rejecting compromise altogether—it means being strategic about when and where to give ground. It means articulating a clear vision that resonates with voters and refusing to dilute that vision for the sake of superficial harmony. Conservatives must also invest in cultural engagement, challenging the narratives that paint principled stances as divisive. By reclaiming the moral high ground and articulating their beliefs with conviction, conservatives can shift the debate and inspire a movement grounded in both clarity and courage. Call to Action The future of conservatism depends on the willingness of its leaders and supporters to reject the false dichotomy of unity versus division. True unity is built not on compromise, but on a shared commitment to foundational principles. As we explore this topic further on The Andy Parrish Show, I invite you to join the conversation and share your perspectives. Together, we can navigate these challenges and ensure that conservatism remains a vibrant,

As I see it: Let’s be safe this deer season!

The deer opener. It’s finally here. It’s time to pack our gear and head to deer camp. But before we hit the woods, let’s review some hunter safety basics. Always wear your blaze orange or your bright pink. It keeps you visible to hunters, and it also keeps you compliant with the law. Remember, no deer is worth risking your safety or the safety of others. Always point your muzzle in a safe direction, keep your finger off the trigger until you’re ready to shoot, and only shoot once you’ve identified your target and know what’s beyond it. If you’re in a tree stand, make sure it’s secured before you climb it. And always put on your safety harness. A fall from even just a few feet can cause serious injury. And never, ever climb in or out of your deer stand with a loaded firearm. Let’s make this a memorable deer opener but for the right reasons. Hunt smart, stay safe and bring home the big one! As I see it: More Government Won’t Save Us Money

The city is discussing a new city administrator position for the jaw-dropping price of $185,000 annually. Now, supporters claim the position will make us more efficient and through those efficiencies pay for itself. But hold up. If we can save money just by being more efficient, why not just fix those inefficiencies ourselves? We don’t need a high-priced referee to solve the city’s problems. More government won’t fix what government already broke. And spending more money won’t save us money. What we need is leadership that gets things done. Think about it. If you wanted to lose weight, would you buy a $10,000 treadmill when you already had a gym membership? Of course not. So why are we spending nearly $200,000 on a new boss to, quote, fix things that we can fix ourselves? Efficiency comes from strong leadership, not bloated payrolls and not more government. Let’s save our money and demand real results for our city.
