Jesus told his disciples about building on a solid foundation, the rock! He stated that even when the rains would come, the water's would rise, and the winds would blow and beat up against that house, it wouldn't/didn't fall because of it's foundation! Whatever we build as born-again believers in Jesus Christ, we must build it on Jesus Christ, the solid rock, the firm foundation, and it will stand the tests of time.
Many time's in our lives, while following Jesus, The Enemy, Satan, or even just the circumstances of life will try to cause us to be distracted and get off course. We must remain on the path in which God has laid and follow him, not matter what! He'll lead us to VICTORY!!!
Many time's storms arise in our lives unexpectedly, and the calm, gentle breezes of peace, suddenly become boisterous, heavy, fearful winds, tossing our live's about.. God wants us to know that He's with us and if we but trust Him, He'll speak to the winds and cause a calm.
We're living in very troublesome, perilous times and during these times, fear, doubt, dread, distress, and disbelief can set in, causing one to have false images of thing's that appear to be real, that re not real, and are sent to deceive, distract, and to cause the loss of focus, reliance upon, and the truth of and in God's word.
In Luke Chapter 18:1 Jesus taught his disciples a parable concerning a widow woman, who had an adversary. She kept going to an unjust judge, a man of power and authority who could avenge her of this adversary, but after several visits and attempts, to get him to do so, he would not! She kept on praying and one day she went back to him, and her prayers had worn him down to surrender, and she received the avenge that she desired. Never, ever, quit praying, no matter how badly or impossible it may appear to be! Be persistent in your faith and trust in God, and deliverance will come.
