I loved the podcast, especially season 1. I can't bring myself to listen to The Golden Age since there is so little of it

Season 1 was fantastic, weird and eerie, with a great sense of setting and mystery. Those trappings have left as the first two episodes of season 2 have lost the thread completely and has leaned far too much on the weird side of things. Gone is the interesting setting and general sense of dread and instead is replaced with a plot that skews too far away from the shows original premise. Possibly a better binge in the long run, but for now I'll be unsubscribing and possiby returning once the season has completed to see if they were able to find their footing.

iTunes User They kind of did in the last two episodes of Season 2. But then lost it again with The Golden Age.

I have listened to sneak peek versions of the episodes to come and I promise they'll be worth the wait. The sound design is really creepy and unsettling and the story blows away every other horror podcast around.

I hope this review is of some help to someone. I mean, I've just listen to episode one, and already I'M HOOKED! I've tried almost every form of podcast horror, I've sought out countless shows, and listened intently for hours. It's what I do. Trust me when I say, that this is good! It's original, it's creepy, and has so much potential. The storyline is unlike anything else out there. I rank it among many of my favorite shows, including: the no sleep podcast, The black tapes podcast, Lime town, and Pseudopod, just to name a few. So here's my "WARNING", to the makers of this fine show… "DON'T YOU DARE", Get me hooked on such a wonderful show, and then, disappear lol! This is happened with countless podcasts in the past, But we've got something special here, and I don't want to lose it! Five stars! (already)⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Looking forward to many more shows!👍

Season 1 was definitely top notch. I really believed Dan Powell was missing. Season 2 felt not as great. It wasnt as realistic and mysterious as the first season made it out to be. At least the Golden Age was... interesting. Underwhelming, but interesting.
