Until it all stopped working. This conversation is about what happens when burnout hits and the version of you that’s been holding it all together… can’t anymore.Jac shares how Ariise became the place she could finally exhale where vulnerability cracked her open and rest became medicine. We talk surrender, energy, and the kind of nothing that changes everything. It’s about letting go of control, trusting the process, and remembering who you were before the burnout. The Deep and The Deeper has moved to a new feed. Today I’m speaking with Dr. Harmony Robinson-Stagg about something almost every woman will recognize... the quiet, often unconscious ways we abandon ourselves. We talk about how this shows up in our bodies, our hormones, our stress levels, and the roles we take on without ever questioning if they’re ours to carry. Harmony explains how self-abandonment lives in our hormones, our nervous systems, and the stories we’ve been conditioned to live inside. We talk about menopause, stress, libido, emotional exhaustion, and the deeply human desire to feel seen and supported. it might be the reminder you’ve been needing: your needs are not optional.Harmony inspired Health website: https://www.harmonyinspiredhealth.com.au/The Deep and The Deeper has moved to a new feed. In this episode, Eddie and I explore the breath as a teacher, one that guides us back into our bodies, our intuition, and the parts of ourselves we’ve forgotten to listen to.We talk about healing through presence, the balance between science and spirituality, and the way breathwork opens a deeper connection to the feminine, to pleasure, and to truth. This is a conversation about remembering your power, creating safety within yourself, and allowing breath to become your pathway back home.Eddie Nelson - https://www.dailybred.com.auThe Deep and The Deeper has moved to a new feed. I sat with Aphrodite to unpack her journey through the Arise retreats, the moments that cracked her open, the power of community, and the healing that comes from being seen and held. We don’t usually do this. Dom interviews me asking the questions I don’t usually answer. We talk about Ariise: Manifest the Life You Deserve, but also the life that led me here: losing my mum, the chaos that followed, the horrific abuse in that relationship, and the long, messy path of healing.I share how manifestation and co-creation weren’t just practices, but lifelines. Today we have such a wonderful topic and guest. We are discussing co-dependency - which, by the way, is not just something that happens in romantic relationships. I have spoken to Hollie on the podcast before in the episode Two Witches Talking. But we couldn't cover one of the most fascinating parts of Hollie's life - the time she ignored her intuition, bought an old Church and was haunted to the point where she wanted to end it all.Content warning: This episode contains some harsh language and mentions suicide. Far out, Meshel Laurie is even more of a legend after this interview. I parent just like her....i didn't have a blind chicken, but I did have a lame duck. my child's father has been away for 5 yrs. its hard to watch your child deal with that... there is no way I could deal with having my crumbs (my mother) in my house. I cut her loose a long time ago... love true crime podcasts, Meshel is amazing!!!
You are a remarkable young man..you are a gift to the world
Overall a lack of critical thought in the episodes and from the host. Unsubbed and gave up early on. Emotive in many cases, but not what I'm looking for at all. I prefer podcasts and hosts that engage critically with the world around them.
This is the episode that made me unsub. Host bought into him, and his predictions were obviously wrong (from a 2022 perspective). Along with "sugar feeds cancer" (sugar feeds all cells, and excess consumption predisposes people to many things; did you do any research?), I'm done. Some of the people interviewed were great, but it's not worth listening to the rest of it to get to it.
my heart breaks 💔 we too have had this journey, our son was diagnosed at 20months, they called the westpac rescue helicopter, they didn't think he would make the flight. Please hang in there!! there is hope, my son is now 8, please hang in there xx
fucking awesome, brave woman
trashy
Incredible! So much tragedy and such an honest, gritty, real story of clawing it all back. Nix's willingness to own her shit, offer no excuses and expect no special treatment is amazing. Her honesty helps challenge stereotypes and prove the power of second chances. Wow!!
This is so, so awful. All this Mum has done is protect her children from further abuse. She should be applauded, protected, informed, supported every step of the way through this process. instead, every step of the way, she and her children have been further and more deeply traumatised, unprotected, totally unrepresented and unsupported, made to feel bad. You poor girl, all my love and heart go out to you Molly. You are a wonderful mother and you did absolutely the right things. I’m sorry everyone else has let you down. What happened to your kids and what has happened to you all since must change. Hopefully your story will help to make that happen.
for god sakes let the girl talk!
I am an Australian and live in Austria where women have no problem with being naked. That includes all shapes, sizes and ages. The difference between Australian women and their own body image is like chalk and cheese. Truly liberating..
What a joke.
A point is .1 of a gram
Fuck. That's all I can say after that episode. 😪
Yet more proof Australia has a LEGAL system NOT a justice system!
Let’s all just agree...this person is an idiot.
The only mystery is how some people can be so gullible. I mean I get that someone grieving can be more susceptible to these used car salesmen and they may even get some peace from having confirmation of what they want to believe...but c’mon. What was said re the host and her mother could be said to every other person in the exact same situation and have them confirm it like they’ve witnessed a miracle. As per usual nothing from this or the previous episode proved anything and only included the same vague ‘predictions’. The only specific prediction the charlatan made was Donald Trump blitzing the us election...how did that turn out? But of course there will be an alternate explanation for this.
You are her Mum, then, now and until you are with your Kenzie again.
first episode i didn't play to the end. What does this woman need, to become disabled, transgender unemployed and hated publicly and politically while her one eyed, bow legged half pitbill half ragdoll sheep/magpie is run over by her mother's uncle so she has a bigger agenda?
ohhhh Zoe!!!!! I too suffer with emetophobia and had hyperemis or hg with my pregnancies!! it's debilitating and the mental health tole it takes is enormous. I hope it all eases for you soon... xxx
