Description

Hi, I’m Dax Shepard, and I love talking to people. I am endlessly fascinated by the messiness of being human, and I find people who are vulnerable and honest about their struggles and shortcomings to be incredibly sexy. I invite you to join me as I explore other people’s stories. We will celebrate, above all, the challenges and setbacks that ultimately lead to growth and betterment. What qualifies me for such an endeavor? More than a decade of sobriety, a degree in Anthropology and four years of improv training. I will attempt to discover human “truths” without any laboratory work, clinical trials or data collection. I will be, in the great tradition of 16th-century scientists, an Armchair Expert.

You TWOO...soooo real!! Dax, I never expected you to be able to be so serious and have an assholish side! And Kristen! Girl! clearly anyone who has seen any of your work knows that you operate on an emotional plane, but you brought some real insight two relationships on this podcast! Awesome work you guys!

The flaps on the wings of airplanes are to increase wing area so that the plane stays afloat at lower speeds. Lesser the wing area, higher the speed you need to be, to stay in the air. Descent = lower speeds = flaps open = you are not dead, and landed safely. Now probably no one in the world will see this comment. But... just doin' my job...

I have difficulty with the idea that I can't be an ally unless dubbed so by one I have compassion for. I think Talib is just as much a separatist as others he accuses.

I am a new listener, only on episode 20. I love this podcast, BUT, considering you do a fact check segment, I think it is appropriate for me to comment. I am also dyslexic and as such, I fully understand when you misspeak or in the case of "Vietnamese " you have difficulty pronouncing. though you continued the effort to correct yourself. However, "couldn't, didn't, shouldn't, etc. dont have 2 'n's and do each contain a 'd'. I do love listening, and will continue! 😁😁
