Description

Hi, I’m Dax Shepard, and I love talking to people. I am endlessly fascinated by the messiness of being human, and I find people who are vulnerable and honest about their struggles and shortcomings to be incredibly sexy. I invite you to join me as I explore other people’s stories. We will celebrate, above all, the challenges and setbacks that ultimately lead to growth and betterment. What qualifies me for such an endeavor? More than a decade of sobriety, a degree in Anthropology and four years of improv training. I will attempt to discover human “truths” without any laboratory work, clinical trials or data collection. I will be, in the great tradition of 16th-century scientists, an Armchair Expert.

His book is great BTW. Most down to earth astronaut. Enjoyed following along his journey and reading about medical issues caused by space travel.

So this is 3 years old now but I'm new to this podcast shit lol I'm not even done with this episode yet and I am in a complete WoW!! I really love the Karma part👌 my husband said when we got together that karma is bullshit 🤦 I absolutely love how fast he's actions, bad shitty actions bite him in the ass lmao 😆, for example he's a Bear in the mornings, while our 2 boys and me are all about rising and shining, so he's being a pecker and just negative energy trying to pick a fight that I won't give into, he leaves and I see him pulling back in the drive, thinking to myself that was fast? he walks in to tell me he got a flat tire and broke his last cigarette 😂🚬😂 foreal I can't help but to point out karma and it sure does get him right away lol needless to say 7 years later he now believes 👍
