Description

Hi, I’m Dax Shepard, and I love talking to people. I am endlessly fascinated by the messiness of being human, and I find people who are vulnerable and honest about their struggles and shortcomings to be incredibly sexy. I invite you to join me as I explore other people’s stories. We will celebrate, above all, the challenges and setbacks that ultimately lead to growth and betterment. What qualifies me for such an endeavor? More than a decade of sobriety, a degree in Anthropology and four years of improv training. I will attempt to discover human “truths” without any laboratory work, clinical trials or data collection. I will be, in the great tradition of 16th-century scientists, an Armchair Expert.

I feel like the real choice as to whose butt you would be in is anyone who regularly has anal sex and douches, since they would 1. have more control of their sphincter, 2. would probably have a clean colon, and 3. might get some enjoyment out of it - and good for them.

I love Dax and his fabulous interviewing skills, but I can't listen to Monica. Her voice is awful and she adds nothing to the podcast. I wish there was a filter to take her out.

Loved this interview. There are women out here that know motocross and Travis. I had the pleasure to meet him early on in his career, it was nice to hear how humble he is. Dax, I saw Travis race at the Silver Dome and Red Bud several times. Travis was fun to watch.

Daaaaax you BLEW my mind with your theory about taking on 3 times the info during a car accident and playing it back at normal speed. Rolled my car after loosing control of a fishtail, I remember so much detail. I can still see the side curtain airbags going off. Walked away without a scratch if you were concerned it was only one roll.

love u guys! I happen to be a person that doesn't give 2 cents what anyone thinks about me. its not that I don't have my own insecurities and things Id love to change but I also know that you can never make EVERYONE happy or like you so who cares lol I care about me and have come to terms with who I am and with the knowledge that nobody is perfect so I lean twd what Dax said. I also dont like having rooms for show or not used. It could be way I grew up but can't see myself ever getting a big house with more rooms then needed. not sure if its ego or just wasteful for me

More please! I learned a LOT about myself in both Monica’s & Jess’s journeys. I’d hate for the series to stop here. Perhaps next chapter/season(?) could be them further exploring the insights learned in the first 10 episodes?

Kendi comes across as reasonable when gently skimming the surface of his ideology. His endgame solution is totalitarianism, controlling every aspect of public and private policy based solely on racist / antiracist criteria. https://www.politico.com/interactives/2019/how-to-fix-politics-in-america/inequality/pass-an-anti-racist-constitutional-amendment/
