Maddi Jane's upbringing focused on Christian Youth Theatre, shaping her passion for the arts, and homeschooling with her parents, who hold PhDs in psychology. At age 11, Maddi posted a cover of "Breakeven" by the Script on YouTube, and it went viral, receiving thousands of views a day and catching the attention of "The Ellen DeGeneres Show." Each video she uploaded built on the virality of the previous; her covers of Jesse J's "Price Tag" and Shontelle's "Impossible" have reached a combined 180 million views, and her channel has grown to 1.55 million subscribers and 450+ million views. Maddi continued producing original music and attending writing camps, eventually moving to Los Angeles, where she built a recording studio in her garage to produce for herself and others. She recently released her debut album, "Rapha," which has garnered over 300,000 streams, many performances and a SXSW appearance. The geography speaks for itself. The bad guys are just kilometers away, across the river. We are the only international (or locals) with a brick and mortar office downtown, for them to go for help. No assistance from govt unless elderly, and the assistance they get is shit. Office safe from “normal” shelling (tank fire, most mortars). Glide bombs and attack drones are new since Ukrainians landed on other side and have beachhead. Quietly, that is a total massacre over there — poorly kept secret here. can’t do much about the big stuff … if we get hit with a glide bomb we’re fucked. I like our chances. Mon wed Friday the FREE STORE AT THE FRONT is open at our office. Basic foods medicines hygiene and winter clothes. Mondays we run bread into insanely dangerous places by the Antonivky bridge, do other stuff like that. Off the radar. For city admin. After racking up countless road miles on tour with his band YYNOT, John Waite and Anna Nalick, producing, writing, and recording for various artists, and having two Billboard charting songs with his band Feel, Billy Alexander is set to deliver his debut solo album Rock & Roll Diary in 2024. His upcoming debut album Rock & Roll Diary is a nine-song-set that covers the full spectrum of rock n’ roll genres. “After writing and producing three albums for my band YYNOT and years of writing for other artists, I started writing a batch of songs with no aim or intention other than just to write for myself. The songs were shaping themselves up to be a kind of reflection of my early influences and inspirational bands and artists from my youth and beyond. Some progressive rock and others more classic rock. Hints of Rush, Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, Tom Petty, The Beatles, and others were creeping into my creative process more and more,” shares Alexander. Growing up in Selma, Ala., Asher was surrounded by gospel singers. President Obama went to Selma in 2015 for a speech commemorating the 50th anniversary of the 1965 march from Selma to Montgomery in honor of African-American civil rights. Asher auditioned for a spot in the choir that was set to perform John Legend's song "Glory." The choir director was so blown away by Asher that Asher led the choir that day, performing in front of 200,000 people. This was also a turning point for his relationship with his father, whom he's always had a complicated relationship with. A couple of years ago, his father survived a car accident and their relationship grew even stronger. They now talk regularly and he greatly supports Asher's music. It was Asher's mom who really pushed him to sing when he was young.
