Oh Declan, where on earth are you from? Rory is away this week, so I'm joined by Arsenal extraordinaire Finn to chew the fat and bask in the space at the top of the league. Well, in reality we talk about our nerves of being there, how far we've come, Declan Rice galore, Trossard impact, crossed fingers for Gyokeres, Set Piece FC, OPEN PLAY GOAL, and of course answer your questions. Thanks again! Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

Don't tell Talk Sport, but we won from another set piece.....and it certainly has ruffled the feathers of some of the wider media. And we love it. We talk Eze's emotional win, Gabriel's formiddable form, Gyokeres difficulty, City losing, and what this all means for the season. Lots to get into including all your answers from our questions on Instagram. Enjoy! Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
Welcome back! Corr, not a bad weekend, eh? A lot of people outside of the club upset about our set piece success yet again. Could it possible jealousy of sitting pretty at the top whilst the others continue to lose via set pieces? Very possibly. We talk Fulham, Athletico, the weekend's other games, your questions, and more! Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
Best ever Arsenal Captain? Which one player do you guys wish would be fit all season? Best CB pairing? Would you swap anyone in the world for Arteta right now? All poll questions answered....AND MORE! Corr, international breaks are fun aren't they? Enjoy. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
We're back! A week is a long time in football, eh? Staring down the barrel of being 8 points behind going into last weekend if we had lost to Newcastle, and suddenly we're top of the league? Oh, and Rory got married. Huge week! Week off won't happen again (forgot our microhpones when going to Italy lol). Enjoy! Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
Toby & newcomer Christian Tye discuss the draw to City that somewhat felt like a loss...we discuss our line up, tactics, second half blitz, and media narrative. Enjoy! Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

Ouch, could have won that couldn't we? Rory and I discussed where we missed the chance to capitalise on a nervous Liverpool and played out a cautious gameplan. Every Monday night for the whole season Toby & Rory will be discussing what we learned over the weekend. You lucky things. This week, it's what we learned over pre-season and a few pre-season predictions. Plus we answer your questions, AND of course announce the competiton winner. Enjoy and let us know your thoughts! Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
Fans, team. Team, fans. It is all part of one unit. Chelsea? Couldn't be further away from us. Connor and I discuss the superb away performance at the Bridge, which never really felt in doubt. Whilst the goal itself ended up being a little scrappy, the overall result was anything but. Granit Xhaka swearing, Jesus penetration, Partey stratospheric ability, White masterclass, and oh so much more. It ain't personal, but boy did it feel it this time. Aubameyang a distant memory of something that used to be so great, and at the same time reminded us all why we were so glad to get rid of him. We answer your questions and of course round up the superb women's team performances and success in the league. Enjoy! Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

Xhaka for Ballon D'or

Xhaka for Ballon D'or

2022-10-2441:10

Dropped points? Sure. Top of the league? Definitely. A slightly disappointing afternoon away in Southampton after a blistering Granit Xhaka based start left us with just the one point this weekend. After a Haaland double, Man City close the gap to just 1 point. Still undefeated in October, and could comfortably finish this crazy first half of the season in pole positon having qualified for the KO stages of Europa League with a game in hand. AND, having the next Ballon D'or winner in Granit Xhaka driving it all forward. What a time to be alive. Connor joins us and talks through the mighty women's team, as always, after an astonishing start to both the Premier League and Champions League season. Enjoy! Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
We're back! After a few weeks out (I had surgery etc...) we are back with a bang. After a weekend filled with stress, euphoria, and satisfaction we passed the Liverpool 'test' by winning 3-2 in a dramatic home victory. We analyse some of the best moments, how well we played, controversial points, and much more. Of course, we answer your questions as always. We have a new guest on today, Marcelo, from Wenger's House. What day for it too. Connor joins us for the Women's round up, as always. Enjoy! Hosted on Acast. Coming back from 1-0 down to win it late in the game? 3 points in the bag? Going top of the league? Playing free-flowing football? None of the above are a reason to celebrate, unfortunately. According to the Celebration Police, these are things we must keep quiet about. Anyway, what a day, eh? Connor and I team up to go through the Fulham game in all its glory, from the jeapordy of going 1-0 down to the chaos and flurry of scoring two late in the game to go top of the league. We answer all your questions as always, and of course round up the women's game. Enjoy! Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

Finally, We're Back

And we are back! After some dodgy technology issues last week and a summer off, the podcast finally returns. What a time to return, too. After a win away at Palace, and our focus of today being our home victory against Leicester, we bask in the optimism that surrounds the club. AFC Met joins me to not only talk about the development of the team, connection with fans, and what could lie ahead, but ALSO enjoy rolling around in some early Manchester United based misery. Why not enjoy it whilst we can? Join our first podcast of the season with many more to come. Enjoy! Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
