Brought on the wonderful Veronika to share with us her ideas and achievements in scoring extremely high in IELTS. Although its IELTS General Training, the Writing Task 2, as well as the listening and speaking are the same.  In this video, she shares her speaking tips of not including an opinion in politics, on top of not preparing for the reading segment that hindered her overall score. Keep in mind, she had taken the academic IELTS back in Russia when she was younger, but the general training was taken in Canada.  Nonetheless, I'm hope you all enjoy this!Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/arsenioseslle...Podcast on Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/show/7hdzplW...Podcast on FM: https://player.fm/series/2288534Podcast on TuneIn:  https://tunein.com/podcasts/Language-...Podcast on ListenNote: https://www.listennotes.com/c/778cf3c...Podcast on CastBox: https://castbox.fm/channel/Arsenio's-...Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/Arseniobuck/...Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCIzp...Website: https://thearseniobuckshow.com/Q & A: ArsenioBuck@icloud.comLinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/arsenio-b...Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/thearseniob...Buzz sprout: Support the show
Mira, born and raised in South Africa, joins me in a comedic episode of my podcast to share with us a variety of things. Coming from an Indian background, she was told was to become a lawyer.  She took a permanent detour by coming a coach because she made a decision that she wanted to live life based on her passion rather than other's opinions. Now she does a variety of things in terms of coaching, mentorship, building up her business, and so on. She also discussed about Apartheid and what it actually was, as well as the things she had to go through.  On a less serious note, we talked about all things South African while laughing away and BEFORE making a commitment to visit there next March/April. Enjoy this one, people! It's a beauty!Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/arseniosesllearningPodcast on Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/show/7hdzplWx6xB8mhwDJYiP6f?si=5vUca3p2QGuWPZbhzCRwBwPodcast on FM: https://player.fm/series/2288534Podcast on TuneIn:  https://tunein.com/podcasts/Language-Learning-Podcasts/Arsenios-ESL-p1117391/Podcast on ListenNote: https://www.listennotes.com/c/778cf3cfd2564ba5b01f693bfebc96de/arsenio-s-esl-podcast/Podcast on CastBox: https://castbox.fm/channel/Arsenio's-ESL-Podcast-id1251433?country=usFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/Arseniobuck/?ref=bookmarksYoutube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCIzp4EdbJVMhhSnq_0u4ntAWebsite: https://thearseniobuckshow.com/Q & A: ArsenioBuck@icloud.comLinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/arsenio-buck-9692a6119/Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/thearseniobuckshow/?hl=enBuzz sprout: https://www.buzzsprout.com/165390Support the show

Welcome back to another ESL pronunciation! Today we're going to be talking about, in the podcast, how to link sounds together. Using "di-ja" and don-cha. Remember, it is not necessary to use it in your own speech.  It is more important that you recognize common changes like this in the connected speech of others. If you practice saying these forms, however, you will likely get better at identifying them. Welcome back to another discussion point and in this episode I dive slightly into a world that goes a bit untouched.  Back in 2003, I had developed anger issues. Where? How? I thad to stem from a woman I had a crush on, but then came another girl into the picture towards the latter stages of the year.  What ended up happening was these relationships came to a grinding halt, as well as my mother not having enough money to support the family because she was unemployed.  Factor all of that in and towards the end of the year, I can honestly say that this was the first time I felt "depression."  It continued building (the anger) when I lost in video games or reacted angrily towards the outcome of a basketball game.  Then, came track and field, and it benefited me for the rest of my life.
