Our Atlas Pro™ Plus Diamond contractors are the lifeblood of who we are. Without them — and all of our loyal contractors — and the homeowners who choose to put our products on their homes, we wouldn’t be here.   So as we continue to celebrate these ultimate Asphalt Lifers, we chat with Diamond contractors Mike Guy, of Guy Brothers Roofing in the Florida Panhandle and Southwest Alabama, and Michael Woodward, of Mills Roofing in Fredericksburg, VA.   Both companies had humble beginnings. Mike and his brother Ronnie started Guy Brothers Roofing in 1971 with $278 and a 1969 Dodge pickup truck. Michael’s grandfather started Mills Roofing in 1976 with a station wagon, hatchet and toolbelt and a ladder with missing rungs that he found in downtown Fredericksburg.   During our discussion, Mike and Michael explain how technology has changed the way they do business and why they love installing Atlas products.   We tell our contractors and sales reps to stop leading with price and start leading with value. Mike and Michael exemplify this philosophy by building successful companies based on honesty, integrity and dedication.   Join the conversation! podcast@atlasroofing.com https://www.facebook.com/AtlasRoofing https://twitter.com/AtlasRoofing   Episode hosts: Stan Bastek, national sales director for Atlas Roofing Tiara Searcy, content and digital marketing manager for Atlas Roofing Alex Dale, regional sales manager for Atlas Roofing   Episode guests: Mike Guy, cares more about integrity than money Michael Woodward, does things the right way   Discussion topics: (0:59) Mike Guy (10:42) Michael Woodward

Atlas Pro™ Diamond contractor Dan Worstell graduated from LSU with a degree in construction. He was supposed to be in a coat and tie, carrying a briefcase. So when he reluctantly took a job with a roofing company while looking for other work, he was embarrassed to tell his friends and family.   “As it turned out, I was the one that had the better job by a long shot,” he says. “I got to dress casually and comfortably and ride around town meeting different homeowners and that was fun for me.”   Since then, Dan has grown and sold roofing companies in Dallas, TX, Denver, CO, and Baton Rouge, LA. Now he’s settled in Virginia, as the owner of Pyramid Roofing.   In the first segment of this episode, Dan shares his journey with Tiara and Alex, including why he has a win-win-win mentality and how “lagniappe” translates to excellent customer service and awesome company culture.   We wrap up this episode on a jobsite in Raleigh, NC, where Tiara visits Will Jordan with Ready Roofing. The pair chat about the best ways to build quality relationships and establish great rapport with homeowners.   Join the conversation! podcast@atlasroofing.com https://www.facebook.com/AtlasRoofing https://twitter.com/AtlasRoofing   Episode hosts: Tiara Searcy, content and digital marketing manager for Atlas Roofing Alex Dale, regional sales manager for Atlas Roofing   Episode guests: Dan Worstell, bleeds purple and gold Will Jordan, persistent about persistence   Discussion topics: (2:31) Dan Worstell (34:52) Will Jordan
