K. P. Paul, a visionary entrepreneur who rose from humble backgrounds to be the doyen of automobile business in South India in the 1940s created a legacy of trust & service through his venture Popular Automobiles, which survived over 8 decades & many generations to form the core foundation for Kuttukaran, one of the largest auto retail chains in India today. Paradox as it may sound, he held on to his staunch communist ideals even as a successful entrepreneur. Such was the aura of his personality that even his competitors could only admire him.
