A prosperous soul is one whose all three parts of soul – thoughts, emotions and will - are in alignment with God’s truths. The prosperity of our soul leads to prosperity in all other areas of our lives. And this prosperity comes from knowing God, and feeding our soul with the right food - which is God's Word and His promises.
We learned about a loving Father, who cares for the mundane details in our lives, when we saw how Jesus turned water into wine at a wedding. Our Jehovah Jireh's lavish love for us is further demonstrated by His provision of the seed meant for sowing. 2 Cor 9:8-10 teaches us that in a tumultuous economic climate, we should continue with our sowing because we must first sow in order to reap a supernatural harvest.
This message explores the nature and promise of God to prosper His people in the midst of famine. Drawing from scripture, Rev John unveils how God will position His people to receive the transfer of wealth (Proverbs 13:22), and share practical steps in our everyday living to receive God’s promise of abundance.
We may be familiar with the biblical story of the Three Wise Men and their search for infant Jesus. The parallel to the story from two thousand years ago is that God is on a search for the hearts of men, having initiated reconciliation with Man through sending His Son Jesus Christ to a world trapped in sin.
God conferred humans the right to rule and reign on Earth so His will, miracles and glory shall be released only when we partner with Him through prayer. What are the principles of prayer, and how does this privilege to pray empower us to bring Heaven unto earth, just as He had intended it to be?
Prayer is fundamental to the Christian life and it is even more critical during periods of transition where dreams, visions, and destinies are vulnerable. We need to pray like never before — and discern the times and seasons just like the sons of Issachar (1 Chronicles 12:2) — as God’s Kingdom emerges during this end-time shaking.
In 1978, the late Billy Graham prophesied that Singapore is called to be the Antioch of Asia. God has promised that He will be with us always and the power of the gospel will be demonstrated when we obey and go. Have we been living true to this mandate? But what does 'Antioch' mean? What does Act 1:8 teach us about our part in the Antioch mandate?
The fastest-growing 'congregation' of Christians is unchurched. This is both a significant problem and opportunity. The future of the church is inorganic, effective gatherings of believers who are committed to practice loving God and people.
Sin is the one barrier that divides man and God, and Jesus came to bridge that gap through the cross. As ambassadors of Christ, we as children of God carry the responsibility to preach the Gospel -- to undertake the ministry of reconciliation and bridge the broken relationship between God and Man.
The coming financial shakings are good news for the people of God because through it, He will decouple us from an unjust and punitive economic system, and move us to operate from the economy of the Kingdom of God. Turbulent times are up ahead, but God has a plan to bless His people and free them to live by His Kingdom!
Jesus lived a lifestyle of giving thanks, and it released Heaven on the earth. Thankfulness pleases God and attracts His blessings. It also brings us into the presence of God, releasing the miraculous in our lives. And what we give thanks for, God multiplies! How do we create a culture of thankfulness?
In the book of Joshua, we observe how the Israelites journey through the Jordan River into Canaan. Delving deep into their journey, this message draws out instruction and encouragement for us today, as we mature from living in bondage to living in freedom and victory in the Promised Land God has for each of us.
Man was created to thrive not by principles but under the rule and reign of God, which is the Kingdom of God. He has given us everything we will ever need. We appropriate our inheritance by living in His presence and being led by the Spirit, thinking, speaking and acting in accordance to God's word so that we reveal Him to the world.
Jesus Christ did everything on the Earth as a man full of the Holy Spirit, to be an example for us. Pentecost Sunday is a celebration of the day the disciples were supernaturally empowered to carry the Gospel of the Kingdom to the world. Join us today as we draw vital connections between the Gospel, the Kingdom and the power of the Holy Spirit.
Man was created with an outward orientation to advance God’sKingdom, but the Fall caused man to become inward-focused, self-centred and selfish. As we know Christ and experience His healing and restoration, our focus should increasingly align with God’s heart to want to extend His love, healing and restoration to others.
The Resurrection was not just an event that happened at a moment of time in history. Our declaration that "Christ is Risen" does not just refer to that moment of time where Jesus came back to life. Instead, this declaration reveals a new daily reality that we can walk in as followers of Christ, knowing that He is alive today.
An inherent nature of God’s kingdom is perpetual expansion. It functions with the focus of advancement. Favour is always given for the expansion of His Kingdom. God has given us all the resources to advance His Kingdom, and He is faithful. When we go forth to share the Gospel, He will back us up with signs and wonders. Are we willing?
As children of God’s Kingdom, we were made to live by revelation received from the Spirit. Such revelation attained from the knowledge of God, is superior to the world’s system. We are to seek for revelation of how to operate in kingdom reality. It is when we lay hold of this mandate that we arise to displace the forces of darkness and take back the Kingdom by revealing the light of God’s glory.
God is shaking the heaven and the earth in this hour to set His people up to inherit “a kingdom that cannot be shaken” (Hebrews 12:26). The house of God must embrace these kingdom shifts as we co-labour with God in extending His reign on earth, just as it is in heaven.
We experience a truth to the degree of our revelation of it. This is why Jesus spoke of seeing the Kingdom of God. God created us to thrive in His Kingdom even while we live on earth. Revelation - truth and understanding - is the key to opening up and walking in the mysteries of the Kingdom. We must learn how to live from that unshakeable place!
