For the summer solstice period, here is a deluxe version of the introduction to my book Mysterium Artorius: Arthurian Grail Glastonbury Studies, concerning the mystique of the Glastonbury and Tintagel landscapes as a doorway into a greater appreciation of our national mythos and how such sensibilities have inspired the great poets and composers. Includes mentions of Dion Fortune, John Cowper Powys, Elgar, Vaughan Williams, and Rudyard Kipling.

My most recent book massively features Glastonbury, Crowley, Psychic Questing, and 2012 but its fundamental themes are the mystery of destiny, the glimpses we catch of it through synchronicity, and what that means about the nature of our true identities. In this half hour, I shall discuss some aspects of the work of Whitley Streiber and Carlos Castaneda and the possibility of playing games with synchronicity to provoke it. Although an extended advert for the book, the material featured stands in its own right as capable of provoking deep processes.

A lecture presentation I shall not be taking calls on. Timothy Leary once stated he was carrying on Aleister Crowley's work. An extraordinary series of events saw him following in the Beast's footsteps into the most controversial episode in his magical career, the invocation of the dread demon Choronzon. Although many of the details have been featured by other writers, I believe my overall perspective on the mysterious Leary/Crowley Algerian desert synchro-mesh is unique and certainly contentious. Lecture material is drawn from my book Aleister Crowley and the Aeon of Horus.

A Typhonian entertainment I shall not be taking calls on. Aleister Crowley is the second most famous inhabitant of Loch Ness, having owned a home there in the early years of the last century. Occult folklore has suggested a link between his activities there and the later return of the monster. This appears to be absurd but can lead into a fruitful surreal consideration featuring the magick of Crowley’s Aeon of Horus in connection with monster hunting and UFOlogy. It is based on the chapter 'Loch Ness Leviathan and the Boleskine Kiblah' in my book 'Aleister Crowley and the Aeon of Horus'.

A lecture presentation I will not be taking calls on, featuring the remarkable Glastonbury-focused 1940 magical work conducted by Dion Fortune to help Britain resist the Nazis. As well as the material contained in the letters published by Gareth Knight, I shall also discuss Himmler's Wewelsburg Grail castle and modern revivals of the Tor wartime material I produced in the nineties, including an episode on the night of Princess Diana’s funeral. The most important point is that Dion Fortune believed that what she was doing concerned the future as well as the dangerous days of the war. The inspirations remain alive today.

A lecture presentation that I will not be taking calls on, featuring a comparative look at Crowley's Book of the Law and Jung's Seven Sermons to the Dead in search of a wider perspective to understand them both and the roots of Crowley's magick as part of the Gnostic revival. Jungs intense experiences with Philemon, the Mithraic Aion, and Abraxas form an intriguing counterpoint to Crowley with Aiwass, Horus, and the concept of the New Aeon.
