Discussing Aunt Wu’s approach to fortunetelling (Cloud-reading! It’s a very important first half of a two-part story arc in which Janet and Dante start to get acquainted with The Spirit World!
In this key episode of Book One, we meet the understandably grumpy Hei Bai, spend some time with an intimidatingly cool spirit dragon and his “nose hairs," and see a whole lot of Uncle Iroh’s hot bath-loving bare skin. Plus: Dante compares Prince Zuko to a couple of beloved vintage detectives, leading to a surprising impression.

listen to Avatar The Podcast instead of this show. They have weekly new episodes AND they do full real recaps unlike Braving the Elements. The hosts are the original voice actors but these other hosts on Avatar the Podcast are such better hosts.
no new episodes and no voice to say why. it's not even mentioned on her Twitter page. just left the podcast high and dry without any explanation.
why are you uploading OLD episodes?
this is a great show. my only complaint is their aversion to "spoilers" on a show that's 20+ years old .....
the rock a selfish, tone-deaf, asshole.
PLEASE GET SOME NEW ADS. why do you have to put on the SAME AD ABOUT STAR TREK EVERY AFLD BREAK. ITS SOOOOO ANNOYING. I end up skipping past it and that skip bleeds into the actual content I'm listening to and then I have to rewind and then fast forward a little more... GET DIVERSITY IN YOUR ADS
please get new ads. hearing the same annoying star trek ad every ad break is way too frequent. I don't even like star trek.
Love behind the scenes and hearing their thoughts on episodes and geeking out with their guests!
I also totally agreed with Dante when he said Aunt Wu is like the Oracle from The Matrix. She tells them exactly what they need to hear.
My fan theory about the cool guy that lets them in to see Aunt Wu is a member of the Order of the White Lotus, just keeping tabs on that part of the world.
this totally rocks....and airs...and waters...and fires.
Zhao calls him the blue spirit in later episodes.
Tacoma baybeeeeee!
So excited!
I WAS THERE!!!!
never got Zhao voice actor on is criminal.
wow my favorite episode this far!!!
