Some of us are over the blazing summer heat, but the BIAS Boys managed to entertain themselves with a few visits to the multiplex as well as a couple of trips to the good old Midwest. When the sun became unbearable, shade was found in a binge of Hulu's "Into the Dark". Now that August has come to an end, Rob and Nathaniel look ahead to the approaching autumnal hijinks that include the release of IT Chapter 2, Halloween costumes, and a few hopeful horror attractions.
9 months have passed since the last BIAS Boyz recording, and perhaps Rob and Nathaniel birthed a terrifyingly adorable werewolf baby.
Or perhaps it's just June again, which means all the Pride celebrations have begun around the world, especially in Los Angeles where our Scholar and Fool reside. Catch up with all the fellas' nonsense, including more lust-worthy Hotties of Horror, all the mysterious and spooky flicks hitting theatres this summer, as well as a couple of BIAS Boys field trips.
We are back with another episode of Bitch, I Ain't Scared. This time, we are rebranding the show. Adding more horror news mixed in with games, politics and current events going on in the real world.
Whether we are throwing shade or praising the stuff we like without guilt or shame, we are not scared to say it. Get ready for No holding back extended episode with a variety of topics from horror movies in the summer, Buffy and Charmed Reboot, Animal hunting laws, Asian representation in Amercian movies and a Crazy Rich Asians and Netflix's Cargo movie review.
Enjoy our latest episode of Bitch I Ain't Scared.

We know, your eardrums have been feeling neglected. Fear not, Fearlings! The BIAS Boys have returned for a Pride Spectacular! Rob and Nathaniel catch up on some goodies, some oldies, and a few upcoming frights for the rest of summer. They also delve into the L, the B, the T, and all the remaining neglected letters of the LGBT+ community, specifically their displacement within the horror genre. Happy PRIDE, kiddies! Be merry and gay!
Ah, the first of the month! Rent is due, holidays collide, and of course the BIAS Boys bring you another batch of upcoming cinema treats as well as HoF and DDB noms. This month, Rob and Nate travel at warp speed to the furthest reaches of space to bring a little intergalactic terror into your ears. Which star beast will reign victorious and which space ship will crash land into the nearest uninhabitable gas planet?
PETA and all the vegans of the world may be on to something: stop pissing off the planet cuz it's gonna f*ckin' murder all of us! Aside from littering and animal cruelty, Rob and Nate discuss some of the possible horror-like repercussions that may result from the human dominance that is destroying Earth. So don't be mad if you find yourself in "The Ruins" or "The Happening" actually happens or a crocodile bites you on your ass for dumping in it's swamp.
Whether it's better or simply different, international horror exists and deserves an American audience that appreciates more than J-Horror remakes with blonde final girl replacements and watered down PG-13 attempts to scare children. This week, Rob brings in Tino, a "specialist" of the international market. Ringu, The Babadook, and El Orfano are just a taste; listen and learn.
We guarantee that listening to this Wee Folk special will NOT turn your ear into a boot! While your local Irishman Nate the Fool gets a bit sloshed, Rob lucks out with a few film finds of the St. Paddy's horror variety. Nathaniel also brings up some well known ghouls that have Celtic origins, as well as a few obscure gods turned demons once Christian Dominance ushered in its own brand of terror. So drink up and be green! This holiday won't be spared from the "B*tch" treatment it so rightfully deserves *hiccup*
Nathaniel is having CAKE for days!... Ya know, cuz it's his birthday. Celebrate with the birthday boy as he and Rob catch up on some movie reviews of international spooktaculars like Ravenous and Lullaby. Also, expand your knowledge of the Latinx community with the updated Charmed reboot. Last but not least, get into the spirit of giving as a personal birthday wish from the Fool. International horror is missing from most of our lives on the regular, and this week the BIAS Boys let fate decide: battling it out for HoF and DDB, Nate and Rob found some necessary horror exports to highlight as well as a few that belong on a travel ban. Nate even manages to catch up with the rest of the world and shares some of his thoughts on "Train to Busan" (Gong Yoo is DADDY!). Netflix, VOD, and multiplex recs per the usual. Happy March, Fearlings!
As you're running down a dark hallway trying to escape an abhorrent evil from another dimension, don't forget to check who is running ahead of you: they might reach the exit and seal it before you manage to get so much as a pinky toe through. Humans can be selfish, careless, and righteous to a fault. This behavior (in addition to the obvious "bumps in the night" that want to rip your heart out) can sometimes be the deadliest force in the universe. Settle in as the BIAS Boys unravel the darker side of human nature.
This goes WAY beyond the month of February. From the originators Duane Jones in "Night of the Living Dead" and Pam Grier of "Blacula" fame; all the way down to final girl Letitia Wright in "Black Museum" and Caleb McLaughlin from "Stranger Things"... like most parts of society, the horror genre has much to repair in its representation of Black characters, directors, writers, screamers, and dreamers. "Get Out" is a nice start. For now, enjoy the BIAS Boys' conversation. Later, perhaps you will continue this talk with others.
Sure, Valentine's Day may be over, but that shouldn't stop you from spending some quality time with Rob and Nate as they make love to your ears. Flowers, candy, and arrows through the heart just not cutting it this year? No worries, we have another Black Mirror review, upcoming tv series news, and a whole lot of love for the horror genre. Featuring "My Bloody Valentine" and some of your favorite couples in fear. Monsters need love, too!
At this point, Rob and Nathaniel are essentially skilled Warlocks when it comes to duelling for Hall of Fears and Deadly DVD Barrel. As luck has it, our first February sees a return to witchcraft (did we ever really abandon it?) with a battle twixt some of our favorite mystical heroines... and a few broads that still haven't even mastered the correct pronunciation of "wingardium leviosa". Another Black Mirror review and upcoming movie releases round out this episode.
Ah, that age old tale of a white woman gone homicidal! And thanks to Black Mirror, we now have an updated and technologically advanced look at how dear Mrs. White might attempt an Annalise Keating. As for the idea of story re-imaginings (combining familiar stories with horror), the BIAS Boys don't stray too far from fairy tales inspirations like The Lost Boys, but we manage a few surprises and wishful ruminations.
The Biasboys are back with another trivia episode for you Fearlings. This week we review Black Mirror's Season 4, Episode 2: Arkangel and discuss our favorite horror music themes and soundtracks. Music plays a part in getting that heart pounding and that blood flowing. Nate and Rob don't get off that easy as we are both put to the test on our knowledge of horror themes and songs in a trivia game. So sit back, relax and enjoy Scream That Tune.
What defines a remake? How does it differentiate from a reboot? Can they be two different things and yet one in the same? The BIAS Boys attempt to answer these questions and more, in the only fashion they know how: shallow thoughts and emotions... But in all seriousness, they do manage to cite some great attempts at retelling classic horror stories and a few do-overs that simply fell flat on their celluloid faces.
Gather round the campfire, Fearlings! Uncle Rob and Tio Nate have another tale of nostalgia for you this week! Special guest pop culture enthusiast and actor Nick Ruth joins us for a somewhat in depth discussion of the 90's SNICK series "Are You Afraid of the Dark?". Nick, Nate, and Rob might even manage to name every single episode from the original series run (not the reboot, eff that mess).
We been here for years! Rockin' my peers and puttin' suckas in fear! Hey, children, it's remake month and for this round of Deadly DVD Barrel and Hall of Fears, the BIAS Boys pit old against new. But before that, Rob has some selection offerings for January across digital, DVD, and theatrical platforms. Also, learn some cute NYE trivia about the Scholar and the Fool. 2018 is finally here, b*tches!!
Usher in 2018 with the BIAS Boys as they go through their favorites in horror of 2017 and award the best to the most gruesome. From "Get Out" and "Split" at the top of the year all the way down to equally brilliant "Gerald's Game" and "IT: Chapter 1", just to name a few greats. Throw in a few BIAS Resolutions and a couple mouthy moments from Nathaniel the resident Fool, and we've rounded out what has been a very fun 365 days. Looking forward to sharing more with all of you in the New Year!
