Your gut health affects your overall health. And when you struggle with chronic illness, it is easy to think “Well I am sick so I am just going to be sick.” But it doesn’t have to be that way. There are things you can do to make yourself the healthiest you can be, even in your state of sickness.  Many people don’t know this, but Audrey has struggled with chronic sickness for many years - and she has gone through traditional health care + holistic health care circuits to figure out what is going on. In today’s episode, she is sharing her journey! From the onset of her sickness, the physical and mental challenges she faced, the seasons of trial and error with her diet, the critical role of mindset in healing, and what happened in Costa Rica that changed her health journey completely.   If you are struggling with your health, we hope this conversation is insightful and gives you hope for healing in your journey + encourages you to advocate for a balanced approach to your health. ♥️ In this episode we talk about:  🫠 Why Audrey broke up with Jeremy in the middle of her health journey  ❤️‍🩹 The power of your mindset when you are healing your body 🩺 Balancing holistic medicine and traditional medicine approaches  ☀️ Why Costa Rica was deeply healing for Audrey + her health  Connect with us: Instagram I @audreyroloff Instagram I @jeremyroloff The Marriage Journal  Memories of Us Anniversary Journal Creative Love  A Love Letter Life  Debt Free Journal  Shop Audrey’s Amazon Storefront Some of the links above may be affiliate links, which means we earn a small commission if you purchase the item(s) using these links. How do you get your kids to eat like that?! 😅   We are constantly asked about our eating habits – from what we eat in a day, what we buy, how we food prep, what we feed our kids, and what healthy snacks we feed our kids – and in this episode we are going to share all about that (and more).  Name one thing that is worth achieving that takes zero effort. Nothing. It doesn’t just magically happen, just like being healthy doesn’t just happen. It takes effort and it is usually the harder choice. It takes being conscious of what you are fueling your body with so you can live a healthier lifestyle. Food is fuel. And the right fuel takes effort.  At the end of the day, it comes down to aligning your family values with your overall health, which includes what you eat. For us, maintaining a holistic healthy lifestyle always aligns with our Christian faith and the interconnectedness of physical and spiritual well-being. If you are curious about how those go hand-in-hand and are interested in learning more about how we align food with our family values, listen in! ♥️ In this episode we talk about:  Why real food is so important and how it impacts your overall health  Ways we introduce healthy eating habits with our kids  How we align our family values around health + food  What conscious eating + spiritual awareness have in common  Connect with us: Instagram I @audreyroloff Instagram I @jeremyroloff The Marriage Journal  Memories of Us Anniversary Journal Creative Love  A Love Letter Life  Debt Free Journal  Shop Audrey’s Amazon Storefront Some of the links above may be affiliate links, which means we earn a small commission if you purchase the item(s) using these links. “How do you plan to give birth this time around?” 🤔 We are a few months away from giving birth to baby #4!! And most of the questions we are asked center around how we plan to bring this little one into the world.  We have been through the birthing experience a few times now – from hospital births to giving birth at a birthing center. As our faith has evolved over the years, so has our perspective on childbirth + parenting. ♥️ So, let’s talk about it! We are going to share our different birth experiences so far, what we would like baby #4’s birth to be like, ways we are preparing, and so much more.  In this episode we talk about:  The importance of mental fortitude, facing your fears, and the power of visualization when it comes to giving birth Ways our faith has impacted our perspective on childbirth  How you can become more confident as a mother and trust your intuition  Links to anything we mentioned:  Supernatural Childbirth by Jackie Mize  Christian Hypnobirthing course (+ one month free of the app) use code AUJ for 20% off  Pain Free Birth IG account  Christian Hyponobirthing IG account Does God punish women with the pain in childbirth by The Bible Project   Bode’s birth story podcast  Radley’s birth story  Connect with us: Instagram I @audreyroloff Instagram I @jeremyroloff The Marriage Journal  Memories of Us Anniversary Journal Creative Love  A Love Letter Life  Debt Free Journal  Shop Audrey’s Amazon Storefront Some of the links above may be affiliate links, which means we earn a small commission if you purchase the item(s) using these links. We are *hopefully* coming to the finish line of our home renovation … and that is largely to due the fact that we are less than 3 months from having baby #4. So we realllyyyy would like to have the home + baby finish line aligned.  So this episode is a raw + vulnerable BTS look at our home renovation. We don’t ever want to shield the reality of our life and the challenges we face, especially if we think it could help others walking through the same or similar things. So we are inviting you into this conversation about our home renovation; we’re peeling back the curtain and sharing the reality.  If you are thinking about doing a renovation or curious about how the renovation process works, we hope this episode is helpful. ♥️ In this episode we talk about:  ☀️ The reality of our day-to-day lives during this renovation  🌟 Why Jeremy has taken on the role of General Contractor (and why we didn’t hire someone else for that)  🫠 Things we wish we would have done or decided months before the actual renovation  💛 The tension of not regretting the renovation even if things could have been done differently  Connect with us: Instagram I @audreyroloff Instagram I @jeremyroloff Family Values Planner The Marriage Journal  Memories of Us Anniversary Journal Creative Love  A Love Letter Life  Debt Free Journal  Shop Audrey’s Amazon Storefront Some of the links above may be affiliate links, which means we earn a small commission if you purchase the item(s) using these links. Why do you practice Sabbath? How do you do it with little kids? 🤔  If you have followed us since before we had kids, you know Sabbath is a big part of our values + something we talk about often. It’s a practice we align with + since having kids, it has evolved but the goal remains the same: to return to the present moment.  Sabbath isn’t a cool idea. It is a necessity and a natural law of reality. We need it! Yes, it is a choice, but if you want to be healthy + aligned with how God created you, you must Sabbath. ♥️  In this episode we answer the biggest questions we get asked about Sabbath – why we do it, the importance of it, ways we practiced Sabbath before kids, and ways we do it now that we have little kids.  GIVEAWAY! 🥳 We’re giving away “These Are The Days” sweatshirts. What does identity really mean? How do I discover it? How do I walk in it?  Identity is an eternal journey discovering what God did when God made me. The more you walk with Him the deeper you understand yourself, and the more you love your neighbor. When your job, your role, or your responsibilities become more important than your identity, you lose yourself. So how do you stay connected to who God made you?  “Identity is not the name of our religion.” - Jamie Winship joins us for a conversation all about identity. He is breaking through false identity + guides us through understanding what is true and how we can experience that truth.  Jamie offers online courses that help people discover their true identity and experience a life of joy, peace, and freedom. Our Identity Exchange Coaches are trained to help you recognize the false beliefs holding you back and begin the movement into your true identity. One-on-one coaching sessions can be booked by visiting our website: http://www.identityexchange.com In this episode we talk about:  Bridging the gap between who you are and what God has called you to do How knowing your identity directly ties into how you love your neighbor  What false identity is + how it is rooted in fear  Links to anything we mentioned:  Family Values Planner (33% off for launch get it for $10 until February 14)  Jamie’s One-On-One Coaching: http://www.identityexchange.com Connect with us: Instagram I @audreyroloff Instagram I @jeremyroloff The Marriage Journal  Memories of Us Anniversary Journal Creative Love  A Love Letter Life  Debt Free Journal  Shop Audrey’s Amazon Storefront Some of the links above may be affiliate links, which means we earn a small commission if you purchase the item(s) using these links. We are back with Part of this Holistic Health conversation – and if you haven’t listened to Part 1 yet, do that first! 🎧 Over the last 5+ years we’ve been on a health journey (and we have become incredibly passionate about it). The biggest thing we have learned is that our human bodies can be more aligned with the Creator – true health is to be completely harmonized with God. 👏 Last week we shared our high-level approach to holistic living. This week, we are getting super practical as we share a list of ways we have been supporting our health over the last few years; from things we have tried, things that have worked, and things we have not (yet) tried.  We are NOT experts in this. We don’t have it all figured out. We are still learning! But we are on a journey and we are passionate about it + we hope this sparks some ideas for your own journey. ✨ In this episode we talk about:  Circadian Rhythm – what it is + why it is important to understand for your overall health Ways fasting, prayer, and meditation impact your physical health  The questions we ask as a family when it comes to vaccines  Links to anything we mentioned:  Family Values Planner (33% off for launch get it for $10 until February 14)  Natural fiber clothing faves Non-toxic cleaners  Wool Dryer Balls  Natural skin care products: CBD beauty boost, tallow Non-toxic makeup AUDREY20 for 20% off Non-toxic cookware  Best glass food containers   Stainless steel water bottle  Naturepedic crib mattress   Beef Liver supplement   Magnesium supplement, magnesium spray, magnesium kids lotion  Epsom bath salt  Loose leaf tea  Halogen light bulbs Kombucha Mineral sunscreen Non-toxic tampons Mary Ruth liquid supplements  Natural immune support - all my favorites are linked here Natural fever reducer  Kids Homeopathic for colds Oscillococcinum homeopathic for flu Homeopathic travel kit  Grounding mattress pads + mats Vaccine-friendly plan book Connect with us: Instagram I @audreyroloff Instagram I @jeremyroloff The Marriage Journal  Memories of Us Anniversary Journal Creative Love  A Love Letter Life  Debt Free Journal  Shop Audrey’s Amazon Storefront Some of the links above may be affiliate links, which means we earn a small commission if you purchase the item(s) using these links. If you follow us on social media, then you know we share about the holistic changes we’ve made over the last few years – what we’ve done, why we’ve done it, and why we believe those changes matter. 💌  But more so … this is something we believe has become a necessity for holiness. ❤️ The mind, body, and spirit relationship is symbiotic. And truthfully, you are limited to the health in any one category by the health of all 3 categories 🤯 What started as a curiosity has become a lifestyle for our family, and we sharing more of that journey in this episode. From the little changes to the ones that take more time (and research), we’re moving toward a more holistic lifestyle that supports holiness.  We are going to talk through a list of simple swaps we’ve made in our home – and we do NOT want to overwhelm you. This list is not something we decided to change over in a day, it took time. So give yourself grace, take your time, do your research, and embrace whatever journey you are on when it comes to making changes towards a more holistic lifestyle ✨  In this episode we talk about:  How we became united + on the same page with our health (it wasn’t always that way) Why holistic living has become so important to us  Changes we’ve made over the years  Links to anything we mentioned:  Favorite non-toxic Amazon alternatives Young Living Essential Oils  Young Living Diffusers Amazon diffuser My friend’s course Hormone Healing Academy code AUDREY50 for $50 off! Happy New Year!! ✨ The holiday season was FULL of movement for us. We spent Christmas at Roloff Farm (in the home where Jeremy had Christmas every year growing up!) then went to our cabin in Spring River before heading back to our temporary home with Audrey’s family. 🫠 We’ve lived out of luggage for the last two weeks, and there is a reality to it that social media just doesn’t paint! So, we want to share some BTS of our experience over the last few weeks. BUT more so, Jeremy faced his “dragons” and went back to his childhood home for Christmas. Because there is something powerful, vulnerable, and healing when you face your dragons. 💌 In this episode we talk about:  Creative date night ideas; what we do + how we plan intentionally to make dates happen How being at the farm for Christmas brought a depth of peace to our family   Discovering whether your kids are feelers, thinkers, or doers (+ what to ask them that will help them feel seen, loved, and process best)  Our gender predictions for baby #4 (we will find out soon!!)  Links to anything we mentioned:  52 Date Night Tracker 1,000 Hours Outside Podcast 1,000 Hours Outside Tracker Book Spring River Cabin + see availability!  Spring River Cabin list of items most asked about Connect with us: Instagram I @audreyroloff Instagram I @jeremyroloff The Marriage Journal  Memories of Us Anniversary Journal Creative Love  A Love Letter Life  Debt Free Journal  Shop Audrey’s Amazon Storefront Some of the links above may be affiliate links, which means we earn a small commission if you purchase the item(s) using these links. You say the word “Santa” and it brings up a diverse perspective of experiences, memories, word maps, and pictures. 🎄So let’s talk about this – because for us, we used to sit on side of the Santa-camp and now we find ourselves moving towards the other side.  Like many things in parenting, Santa is something we’ve changed our minds on. Simply said, we are allowing Santa in our home (+ it means something different than “doing” Santa to us).  We are all about protecting our kids’ childhood and allowing them to cherish childhood. We want to give them a childhood that fosters their imagination and lets them be little. If you find yourself having conversations around Santa in your home + how to foster childhood while maintaining truth, we hope this conversation serves as an invitation to discover what works best for your family.  PS - have you heard the news? What are things you value as a family? ♥️ If you have been following us for a while, you know family values are a big part of what we talk about. For our family, the values we’ve built unite us and ground us – keep us centered and tethered to reality.  We know that creating family values can feel overwhelming + daunting. We’re pregnant with baby #4! 🥳 So we thought this was the perfect episode to talk about expanding our family, how our parenting has evolved, what we’re excited (and nervous) about with baby #4, and so much more.  When it comes to parenting, we all want a formula but there is no right-one-way to do it. That just doesn’t exist. Every kid, every family, and every season is different. And we have transitioned into a specific way of thinking that has released us from the pressure of being the perfect parent. Did you know we are remodeling our home? 😜 If you didn’t it’s ok! We haven’t done the best job sharing about it online. Renovating our home means we’ve moved in with family. It’s us, our kids, and Audrey’s parents navigating life, homeschooling, work, and the renovation. And it has been quite overwhelming! 🥴  A big question we are getting about all this is … “how is it living with your parents?” That question typically comes with the expectation of a negative answer. But honestly, for us, it has been a huge blessing and has gone way better than we anticipated. Want to know why? Over the last year, our perspective around alcohol has evolved and has led to a pretty significant shift in our lives. One thing we have learned is that not every new discipline has to be extreme because extreme can be unhealthy. But when you develop new ways of living a more whole and healthy life, you understand that healthy moderation is possible. ♥️ There are several reasons why we have scaled back alcohol, and as we share them with you we hope conversations in your own heart and in your own home arise.  In this episode we talk about:  Our personal experiences + upbringing surrounding alcohol  Ways alcohol was impacting our health (physically + spiritually)  How being extreme in new disciplines can become unhealthy  Why it was possible for us to give up alcohol this time compared to when we have tried before Links to anything we mentioned:  Grab the Memories of Christmas Journal  Connect with us: Instagram I @audreyroloff Instagram I @jeremyroloff The Marriage Journal  Memories of Us Anniversary Journal Creative Love  A Love Letter Life  Debt Free Journal  Some of the links above may be affiliate links, which means we earn a small commission if you purchase the item(s) using these links. They are officially available today for podcast listeners at memoriesofchristmasjournal.com.  With holidays coming up, travel may be in your future (whether in a car or on a plane), so we thought this was the perfect time to talk about traveling with little kids! 😆 For us, we value traveling enough that we didn’t want to wait until the kids were older to travel. We know that travel breaks up routine + opens our kids’ eyes to new perspectives. But we also know it is NOT easy … especially with little kids. There are things we have discovered over the years that have made traveling with our kids easier; not perfect, but easier. 👏 We are going to share things we’ve learned along the way – from packing, knowing what strollers and car seats to bring, mapping out daily schedules, the best time to board the plane, things we use to keep our kids entertained on the plane and SO much more.  Another big part of today’s conversation is all about screen time. We know it is a hot topic. We are not anti-screens but we have a stricter screen philosophy than most people. And we want to talk about how we integrate screen time into our travel.  So, let’s take off + get into this! ✈️ In this episode we talk about:  Why we want our kids to travel and learn through travel experiences Our travel philosophy + how our parenting style speaks into it  Cars vs. plan travel (hacks we do differently for each method of travel)   What screen time looks like when we are traveling   Links to anything we mentioned:  Memories of Christmas Journal  The Bucket List Family  Our jogger stroller  Doona Carseat/Stroller  Doona Bike  Slumber Pod Tonie Box code 20AUDREY for 20% off orders over $99 “Goldbug Book” aka one of our favorite books for the kids  Boat Bag aka our “throw all carry-on bag” for travel Baggu Crossbody best-oversized fanny pack Homeopathic travel kit  Portable sound machine Connect with us: Instagram I @audreyroloff Instagram I @jeremyroloff The Marriage Journal  Memories of Us Anniversary Journal Creative Love  A Love Letter Life  Debt Free Journal  Some of the links above may be affiliate links, which means we earn a small commission if you purchase the item(s) using these links. We get A  LOT of questions about how we came to the decision to homeschool our kids. So we thought it would be fun, interesting, and (hopefully) helpful to talk about that in today’s episode. 😊 Our decision is multifaceted and it wasn’t just about education for our kids. I remember questioning the doctor & nurses about the vaccines that they were going to give my newborn baby & I was made to feel like a bad person for even questioning it. I had no idea they were even going to be giving my newborn vaccines in the hospital & I didn't really know anything about them & I was reluctant to give these to my baby. I couldn't understand why they would give a hep B vaccine to a day-old baby. They told me they give this to every baby as soon as it is born & this is normal & they do it right away to make sure everyone gets it & that it does absolutely zero harm to a newborn. I told them that I wasn't comfortable giving this, or any other vaccine to my baby quite yet, and I would prefer to wait until she is a bit older/stronger, as we both almost just literally died a day prior. They made me feel like a horrible person for NOT wanting to give this to her right away & I was guilted into giving it to her 😥

Audrey, You come across as snarky&bitchy towards Jeremy. You interrupted&made fun of him for using the word "malevalent". You said "Is that even a word!" And yes, it is! It means mean&threatening. There were many times you sounded like that. I didn't realize you were that way. l'm unsubscribing from your podcast. l listened to half this episode, and you kept interrupting/correcting him. You seem to be the type who throws snarky comments at others, for fun. This podcast got bad rreviws & I agree.

thank you so much for doing this episode! I started co leading a college group with my church a fee months ago and I've been discouraged in my ability to co lead since this is my first time. I started listening to your podcast a few days ago and just stumbled across this episode and noticed the title and thought it would be great to share with my group.I cant wait to share this with my group I know they will get a lot out of it, but was so overwhelmed when 2 things clearly stood out to me. For the past 2 years I have been really struggling with being happy in my job and have been praying for an answer from God. I have tried many times to work more on my passion for youtube but keep struggling to comitt feeling discouraged in the fact that I could one day be a full time youtuber. Audrey, you said that sometimes God is silent bc hes already spoke to us and is waiting for us to take that step. that really hit hard for me and was exactly what I needed to hear. you also mentioned that he ce

Hey guys, first of all I love your podcast, journey and honesty. ❤️ Bought your book and listened to it on audio too. Started as a fan of LPBW and my journey with y'all just continues. Question, you mentioned a big framed calendar that you have in a podcast a long time ago and at the time I looked it up but since then my computer restarted and I can't find it again! Can you let me know where you got it and which one you like? I really need it to organize my life!! (I'm a 9 like Jeremy so I really do need it! Haha.) Thanks so much! Have a great day.
