Below Deck Med’s Malia White Steps Behind The Rope. Quarantining from a docked boat in France, Malia is here to discuss it all. Originally from Oregon, Malia had no idea the yachting industry was her true calling until a few years ago when she got a call from Below Deck casting. Having had past experience working on small boats and teaching scuba diving in Hawaii, Malia was working at a desk job in Colorado when the casting call came. Why not?, she said, and the rest is history. Malia discusses some of her more high maintenance guests, both on and off camera, some of the most over the top requests she has received during her yachting career, how to handle celebrities you need to say “no” to, and the biggest tip she has ever received. Malia also discusses being the Below Deck Franchise's first female Bosun, sexism and the role of women in the yachting industry and how some of these issues have played out both last season on Below Deck and this season on Below Deck Med. Of course, we discuss this current season of Below Deck Med, her relationship with Hannah Ferrier, the rules when it comes to hooking up on board, the perception of Below Deck in the industry and what Captain Sandy is really like in real life. Mexican Dynasties’ Elan and Jenny Allende Step Behind The Rope. Connecting from Puerto Rico where the sun is shining the birds are singing, Elan and Jenny are here to discuss all. Jenny and Elan grew up with music in their blood. They both knew from an early age this was their true calling. That said, Jenny had a temporary detour into the word of modeling. That detour took her to the Miss World pageant where she represented Puerto Rico. She was competing. Elan’s Dad was hosting. That’s how they met. A year later they started dating and the rest is history. Now a married couple, flash forward to Bravos’ Mexican Dynasties . Not suppose to be part of the original cast when Elan's parents were hired, producers had another idea after meeting the dynamic couple. Soon thereafter, Elan and Jenny became part of the "Allende Family” that we have grown to love on the hit Bravo show, Mexican Dynasties. From casting to filming to all the real life drama going on behind the scenes, Elan and Jenny do not hold back. Also the cast of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills were at the Mexican Dynasties premiere party. Say whaaat? Which RHOBH was nice? Which were not nice? Who refused to take pics with the Mexican Dynasties cast and who had a little too much to drink? Selling Sunset's Maya Vander Steps Behind the Rope. Checking in from Miami Florida, with a full house including a 6 week and 15 month old, Maya is here to chat about the new season of Selling Sunset. Originally from Israel, Maya fills us in what it is like to split her time between Miami and LA, where she works at the famed Oppenheim Group as seen in Seasons 1 and 2 of Selling Sunset, and the differences between selling real estate in the two markets. Maya explains how she was cast on Selling Sunset, what filming was like, and her feelings about how she was portrayed on the show. Maya is kind enough to answer our questions about her colleagues Christine, Chrishell, Mary, Heather, Amanza, Davina as well as Jason and Brett. We also discuss those other LA Agents, the boys and girls from Million Dollar Listing LA, and the differences between the two shows. Of course, we had to bring up Exec Producer Adam DiVello, who was also responsible for one of the Granddaddy’s of them all, The Hills and our love for that classic show. We also discuss the power of Netflix, how Covid probably helped blow up Season 2, and what to expect in Season 3 (for those who have not yet streamed). Finally, with Maya in Miami a good chunk of the time, we talk about the possibility of a possible Miami spinoff in the near future. @themayavander@behindvelvetrope@davidyontefBonus Episodes Available at - Merch Available at - See for privacy and opt-out information.
Noelle Reno from Ladies of London Steps Behind The Rope. First Noelle fills us in on the status of her current career in Digital, Influencer and Social Marketing and how TIkTok has taken over the world. This marketing career includes having worked on the Tiger King Netflix digital campaign. Do tell. Ok now let's focus on what everyone wants to discuss. Ladies of London. First, we discuss how the show was originally pitched and what is was supposed to be. Then, we discuss how the show morphed into the Ladies of London that was seen and beloved on Bravo. We discuss how Noelle and the other Ladies of London were cast. Next, we deep dive into the benefits and drawbacks of being on a successful Reality TV Show and how to navigate those waters. Noelle opens up about her feelings, after watching herself back, on how she was portrayed during Ladies of London's freshman year. Finally, we discuss her cast mates Caroline Stanbury, Marissa Hermer, Juliet Angus, Annabelle Neilson, Caprice Bourret, and Julie Montagu - who did she know before filming, whose friendships were changed as a result of the show, and who Noelle still keeps in touch with today. We also discuss her other Ladies of London Sophie Stanbury, Adela King and Caroline Fleming. If you love this Bravo classic as much as we do here Behind The Rope, this is an episode not to be missed. @noellereno@behindvelvetrope@davidyontefBonus Episodes Available On Patreon - Available at - See for privacy and opt-out information.
Lots to discuss people. Lots to discuss. Where to begin? Audience Appreciation Day is alive and well with avid listener David Goldberg. What's the most interesting thing about David Goldberg? The fact that he listens to the BTVR Podcast. Not even close, although thank you. The fact that he was both Jill Zarin as well as Dorinda Medley's Personal Assistant. Oh yes, we have 101 questions and David G. is kind enough to answer them all about his famous, or shall we say infamous, employers. What WAS working for each like, what was the interview process like, what is the most shocking thing he saw and heard? Oh my, thank you David G. for indulging us. These two Davids met, where else, at a Countess & Friends Cabaret - do we see a pattern here? They reconnected at this season's anti bullying event that was filmed for RHONY. What was that event like? Who ended up doing what off camera? David Squared are here to discuss all. Finally, the two  Davids bond over Bravocon where Yontef attended as press on behalf of BTVR and Goldberg assisted Miss Zarin in the sales of her rugs. Assisting Jill also got David Goldberg backstage in the green room at Bravocon's Infamous Watch What Happens Live. Rinna, Gizelle, EJ, oh my. Jealous much - yes yes and yes. What a jam packed episode. As we said, lots to discuss people. @indigoboydavid@behindvelvetrope@davidyontefBonus Episodes Available at - Episode is brought to you by Better HELP Merch Available at - See for privacy and opt-out information.
Melissa Rivers Steps Behind The Rope. David and Melissa get right into it like old friends. They waste no time in talking about dating, or lack thereof, during Covid and ponder whether dating is ever really worth it if you can’t sleep with the air conditioning at the temperature you prefer or if you have to give up sleeping diagonal?. Melissa lets us know how quarantine has been going with son Cooper and what quarantining with Joan would have been like. One way Melissa has been keeping busy during quarantine is with her own “Group Text with Melissa Rivers” Podcast where she talks about, well, everything her friends and her talk about in a group text. #brilliant #funny. Reflecting back on her own life, as well as the life of her Icon, Comedic Genius, Legend of a Mother Joan Rivers, we discuss the origins of “Who Are You Wearing” and how that one phrase changed Red Carpets forever. That one phrase ultimately also helped lead to a little TV show known as “Fashion Police”, where Melissa was Executive Producer and later Host. Speaking of Fashion Police Hosts, we discuss Melissa’s colleagues Kelly Osbourne, Giuliana Rancic, George Kotsiopoulos, Nene Leakes, Brad Goreski, and Margaret Cho. Fashion has certainly taken a turn this year, but Melissa lets us know who is winning quarantine fashion and what Joan would think about wearing a mask. As far as comedy goes, Melissa discusses her favorite current female comics. Finally, we end with a game of rapid fire hot takes on some of life’s greatests: Madonna, Cher, Brad and Angie, Oprah, Beyonce and so much more!!@melissariversofficial@melissariversgrouptext@behindvelvetrope @davidyontefBonus Episode Alert!!! episode is brought to you by (Better Help)Merch Available at - See for privacy and opt-out information.

Pol’ Atteu and Patrik Simpson step Behind The Rope. Just two simple Beverly Hills boys, P2 stop by to discuss it all. Having originally met in New York City, it was love at first sight, long distance ensued, they made it work, and here we are. Of course, their family isn’t complete without Snow White 90201, their Mimi Maltese. She joins us for the chat. Their Pol Atteu Boutique in Beverly Hills is frequented by Sharon Shone, Bella Thorne, Ariel Winter, and Laverne Cox and last, but certainly not least, Betty White. It was an incident with Betty White that gave Patrik and Pol the idea to turn this into a TV show. Voila, Gown and Out in Beverly Hills. Season One on Amazon, Season Two Coming Soon. Like any smart designer,  the boys have pivoted and from dresses to masks. Not just any masks, but fashion forward masks worn by everyone from Real Housewives such as Kyle Richards, Adrienne Maloof, Kelly Dodd, Gretchen Rossi, Joyce Giraud, Claudia Jordan and Emily Simpson to VanderKids Scheana Shay and James Kennedy to Pop Culture Icons like LaToya Jackson and Perez Hilton. They also share their wish list for who they would love to dress. Fingers crossed. On a more serious note, Pol also opens up about being the victim of a hate crime at one of his Fashion Show's in the past. Pour yourself a drink and enjoy this real and honest sit down with Pol and Patrik.** Pol and Patrik’s Pol’ Atteu Boutique in Beverly Hills has been destroyed by the riots that took place earlier this year in Beverly Hills. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hill’s Cedric Martinez Steps Behind The Rope. Why speak now? That is where we would like to start. And where we did start. Cedric answers that and many more burning questions. He starts at the beginning. Cedric explains how he first met Ken and Lisa Vanderpump in London way back when. There were restaurants, bars and nightclubs. Pamela Anderson, Naomi Campbell, Gwyneth Paltrow, Cameron Diaz, Elton John and Boy George were all part of the scene during this time. Cedric opens up about the lack of parental figures in his own life and how this effected and encouraged his love for The Vanderpumps. Cedric explains how he was taken in by Ken and Lisa and what early life in both London and Beverly Hills was like with them. Speaking of Beverly Hills, he details exactly how Lisa got cast on RHOBH and how, although he did not want to be involved with the show, ultimately came to the “decision” to film. We deep dive into RHOBH’s infamous Season One and Cedric’s role as LVP’s “Permanent Houseguest”. He details the “fall out” with the Vanderpumps and the real reasons he left their Beverly Hills mansion compared to what was actually shown on TV. Cedric is forthcoming on what he saw and experienced during his time before, during and after his close friendship with LVP. Tune in now for this Part I sit down with Cedric Martinez. @cedricmartinez@behindvelvetrope@davidyontef episode is brought to you by (code velvet3) See for privacy and opt-out information.

David welcomes David Parnes from Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles. Comfy in his back yard in the Hollywood Hills (birds chirping and all), David is ready to talk all about the new season of MDL-LA. Born and raised in London (unlike some accents on Bravo, this one is real), David moved to LA 11 years ago in hopes of that California dreamin' life. A life filled, of course, with real estate. Having no idea how they got his name, David jumped at the opportunity of being a cast member on the show having been a big fan and avid watcher of the MDL franchise prior. David Squared get into a deep discussion on the current state of the LA Real Estate Market and how it is currently (forever?) changed by the state of the world. Of course, with the new MDL season here and present, we discuss the properties, the gorgeous glorious expansive properties. Ahhhh. Ok enough of that, let's get to what really matters, David's thoughts on his fellow agents - The Josh’s Flagg and Altman, Tracy Tutor, and Madison, what filming the show is really like, stress and fun of closing deals on national television, and a glimpse of what we can expect the rest of this coming season.
