Here is the second guest episode on the podcast and I'm so excited for it!  In this week's episode with Nikki, she helps me reply to some of the following questions regarding Human Design: what is Human Design? how has it changed your life? one benefit you experienced from Human Design? one difficult situation that Human Design helped you understand and overcome? when is the right time to get Human Design consultation? what to expect from Human Design consultation? I personally got my first birth chart reading done about two months ago and it's helped me understand parts of myself I could never really grasp and embrace. It's encouraged me to listen to myself more and be more intuitive both in my personal and professional life. - Find Nikki here -  IG: https://www.instagram.com/heynikkijae/ Website: https://www.nikkijae.net/ Podcast: https://anchor.fm/nikki533 - find me here - IG: https://www.instagram.com/chloe.kian/ YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/c/ChloeKian Blog: https://www.chloekian.com/
This time is weird for everyone and it can be worse for some people. I've personally experienced anxiety about the pandemic while David and I were still in Bali and in this episode I wanted to share what has helped me to recover from it. I share about how anxiety feels in the body and how we can analyse it. I also talk about how to become aware and discover the deep roots behind this overwhelming feeling along with coping techniques and rituals to reduce the anxiety. As much as distracting yourself is not addressing the cause of the issue, it is important to focus on activities that make us feel good to give our minds a little rest. Finally, I share some habits that tend to make anxiety worse and why we should avoid them in periods of crisis. - find me here - instagram: https://www.instagram.com/chloe.kian/ english channel: https://www.youtube.com/c/ChloeKian french channel: https://www.youtube.com/c/ChloeKianFR blog: https://www.chloekian.com/
In today’s episode I reveal where David and I are headed to, what our plan is & why we decided to take a break. In this over achiever fast paced society, it’s easy to get into the hustle routine but if we can’t find balance between our career and our well being then, we’re doing it all wrong. It’s about accepting and embracing the fact that we are tired, uninspired or exhausted and taking action to reset ourselves before we hit burnout. As a sustainable lifestyle advocate, I also quickly share my personal thoughts on flying and why I don’t feel guilty about it. Definitely a topic I’d love to touch base in a future episode as well as eco-shaming and eco-anxiety were born from this constant pressure to excel at sustainability. Sustainability as much as your career path are not supposed to be a competition, only us can choose to treat it alike. Finally, taking time off doesn’t only mean going on a trip or doing nothing but sleep. If these is what you need and feel like doing right now, then by all mean listen to yourself. However, I personally see breaks as an opportunity to get inspired and creative, whether it stems from boredom or discovery of a new culture & environment. And if you’d like, it could even be both. Really excited to share this adventure with you all! Follow them here: https://www.youtube.com/chloekian
Whether you are in a relationship or not, self-love should be your first priority always. Remember it's not anyone responsibility for your happiness or taking care of you.  In this episode, I share key takeaways from what helped me from personal experience and past relationships. How putting yourself first is actually a good thing for any of your relationships, not only romantic ones. Preserving yourself, your values, your drive is part of preserving your relationship and why your partner was attracted by you in the first place. Loving yourself no matter what is not an easy task, but it is a vital one if you want to live a fulfilled life.  No one should be dictating  your daily habits, your career goals or personal needs. Only YOU know what's best for you and YOU are the only one responsible to maintain your rituals in order to be happy.  Let's encourage open communication about our personal needs and desires and let go of emotional attachment. Only then, we will be able to truly love. Love ourselves, and others around us.
Whether you are in high school, in college, at a job or in between any of these, we easily feel overwhelmed about our future. In this episode, Tania and I share our experience at college, the valuable lessons we learnt and how to ease your way into the professional world once graduating.  Furthermore, we express the importance of creating your own network and building up your experience in a specific field while also staying true to yourself and defining your personal skills. Finding a job nowadays is not always an easy task and it's so easy to compare ourselves to others. While everyone is talking about quitting their 9-5 jobs (me included), we explain why entrepreneurship may not be as exciting as everyone seem to believe. What is the definition of success and how to create a work life aligned with your core values. Remember that wherever you may be right now is only an experience to teach you something and lead you towards the right direction. Learning to take the most out of difficult circumstances and let go of self-doubt.
For the first time ever, I accomplished all the personal and career goals I had set up for myself in a year. In 2019, my YouTube channel grew from 10k to 100k.  It was very exciting, overwhelming and I learnt a lot through it. In this episode, I open up about how I felt about it, what I did to adjust and keep my sanity. Finally, I share the unexpected obstacles I faced last year and what I learnt from them. Working on social media has pros and cons and it's time to talk about it.
Welcome to the BEWEAR podcast! Here is a quick introduction to this new project, what topics I will be covering on here and who I am for those who are new. I'm really excited to share this raw and authentic new chapter with you all!
In today episode, we go over the main signs of trauma bond and true love. 3 Traps to Inner Work

3 Traps to Inner Work

2023-03-2724:24

Inner work is a beautiful tool for self-awareness but like anything, it has flip sides if taken to the extreme. Both the outer and the inner work are just as important. And if there is imbalance, it will be experienced in some way. This episode aims to shine light on 3 traps that can keep us stuck or lost on our journey through inner work: Maintaining a feeling of inadequacy and a belief of never being good enough. Nourishing a victim mentality and disempowering ourselves by giving our responsibilities to things and people outside of ourselves. An over focus on the INNER work at the expense of OUTER work. For example, becoming self-aware about our flaws yet still not implementing new habits and systems to change them. "Judgment creates disconnection where as compassion creates connection." "Remember that we always have agency and an ability for choice." ___ Today's episode was insightful for you? If you think it could help someone you love, share it with them. Thank you for being here! In this episode we chat about some of the red and green flags to honestly look (first and foremost) in ourselves and how these traits impact (positively and negatively) the people we are drawn to. In theory, every relationship could work. In reality, whether a relationship actually CAN work depends on many different factors. Also: just because a relationship COULD work, doesn't mean you have to work at it incessantly to the point of personal exhaustion, it becomes self-sabotage. We all deserve a love that is simple. Not easy, but simple. If you enjoyed today's episode, you can support this podcast by leaving a review or sharing it with a friend. Thank you for being here!
