Hey all!We've been away for a while, but don't think that we haven't been doing anything whilst we've been away. We have something a little special for you.   Back in April we managed to sit down with Sheila Majid, but we never got the chance to air the interview. So for those of you who went to see her over the weekend, or didn't - and for those of you with Sheila Fever, this one is for you.   In this candid interview Sheila speaks about the state of the music industry here in Malaysia, the state of the economy, education, and how she took 3 years to decide what would be on her latest album offering 'Boneka'.   Sit back, turn it up and listen along.   Big love from Rich and Addy and the TTON team.   

Azrul Zainal and Omar Aiman are childhood friends and have been playing music together since their high school days, naturally led them to form their band, Jaggfuzzbeats in 2014. They've recently released their debut album, Rest Now, which features 8 tracks including reworks of their demos. They tell us more about their songwriting process and bring us up to date on where we can catch them live.

At just 20 years old, Arisha Rozaidee has already published two books. Her first book, “The Prisoner of Sorrow”, is a collection of poems and short stories published when she was 16. Arisha went on to self-publish a chapbook in 2016 called “Sandpaper Heart”. She can be found performing spoken word poetry at open mics when she isn't busy studying to get her degree in English. We find out more about her inspirations for her stories and poems.

NEXT Academy is a coding school which offers an assortment of programs that teach students practical skills ranging from web development to digital marketing. The founder himself, Josh Teng, taught himself to code before joining a boot camp in Silicon Valley to fortify his skill set and is now well-versed in multiple languages. We go into more detail about the factors that led him to start his own school for coding.

Indrani Kopal was an online video journalist before inevitably being drawn towards the art of documentary filmmaking. Her documentary “The Game Changer” has been accepted into seventeen film festivals and won the best documentary award at the prestigious Cannes’ American Pavilion Emerging Filmmaker Showcase.

An event manager with 30 years of experience in the Malaysian entertainment industry, Jennifer Thompson has had the pleasure of working with a huge number of local and international artistes. When we were trying to get her on the show, she said that "every day is so unpredictable" but she still managed to squeeze in some time to answer a couple of questions like why she chose this line of work, whether it's as hectic as we imagine it to be and if it is, how she handles the pressure.

You can't call yourself a cafe enthusiast if you haven't heard of DR.Inc. The homey coffee shop was opened by Lisette Scheers, who is also behind a lot of the designs for establishments by The BIG Group. She's also behind Nala Designs, which has grown from selling just stationery to an array of products including accessories, jewellery, homeware, and most recently a yoga clothing line. We ask her about Nala Designs' early days and what influences her one-of-a-kind motifs.

Let's say your friend just told you about a band that they really like. Suddenly you start noticing the band's name popping up everywhere you go, be it on a poster or being mentioned in a stranger's conversation that you accidentally overheard. You've never even heard a single song by this band before, so why do you keep noticing them? Did they suddenly become really popular? Well, no, not necessarily. This whole experience has been coined as the Baader-Meinhof phenomenon despite it having nothing to do with the actual Baader-Meinhof Group. One such example is Lim Soon Heng from The Bigger Picture who joins us in the studio to fill us in with some details about his forthcoming play, Shakespeare Demystified: Macbeth. It's been almost two years since the last time we've had Shamaine Othman on board. We catch up with the projects the multi-disciplinarian has been handling and she hints what she has in store for us. We've also gone a step further this time by gathering some stories from her friends Joanne Kam and Kuah Jenhan, and asked them to give us some little known Shamaine anecdotes.

Aliff Shaharom, better known as Airliftz, is a self taught producer-rapper hailing from Petaling Jaya. Despite being relatively new in the music scene, he has already managed to turn heads with his debut single, Gwalos. We grabbed the opportunity to ask him about his inspirations and how he copes with his career as an up-and-coming music artist while being an average student attending classes as usual.

Definitely not strangers to the show, these three comedians have joined forces and returned to tell us about their new gig called Oh My Giggles! It's been a while since Kavin and Brian have been on the show so they tell us about how much they've progressed since the last time.

When it comes to naming people in the motorsports industry, most of us would only be able to think of the men. Well, there's another woman besides Leona Chin to add to the list: Geraldine Read. While battling gender discrimination and stereotypes, she also had to overcome many other obstacles to get to where she is now and we get the chance to hear the story from her perspective.

Eats, Shoots & Roots is a social enterprise which aims to empower urban individuals and communities with skills and tools to grow their own food and build a sense of resilience in the city. Beatrice Yong and Shao-Lyn Low, both part of the managing team, talk about implementing greener habits into our day-to-day lives and update us on the new plants they've included in their garden!

Najwa Mahiaddin is a vocalist and songwriter who has won multiple awards since her debut in 2011. Having co-headlined with Yuna and opened for international stars like Ne-Yo and Michael Bublé in the past, Najwa is definitely destined for big things in her life. She tells us about how she first got into music and touches on the hardships she had to overcome to pursue her dream.

Joanne Kam was on That Time of Night during its early days and now she's back with a new friend who flew in all the way from Singapore, Sharul Channa! They're here to promote their show which features an all-female comedy lineup called Super Kam Ultra who are performing at the LOL Fest 2017. The crazy pair also compare the differences and similarities between the stand up comedy scenes in Southeast Asia and the West.

The list of experiences in Nadira Yusoff's resume include managing director of Girls in Tech Malaysia, CEO of Nadi-Ayu Technologies, business development director of Saora Industries, and that's not even the end of the list. She seems to be a role model in the making, and we're interested to know why she chose to take the path that she has, and who and what has motivated her to do so.

Free Tree Society is based on very simple principles - they take seeds, sprout them, look after the seedlings, then give away healthy little plants to the public for free on environmental holidays. We'll be talking with the president of the society, Baida Hercus, about the motivation of the project and what, if any, the endgame is.

Finally back from the foreign lands is our Monday co-host, Kuah Jenhan! He has returned with so many crazy stories to tell us, they're practically rolling off his tongue.
