Woooooooweeeeee Week 7 was interesting and fun for all those involved that have Drake Maye QBing their team (or several others) but if you have Tua (or several others) it might not be as fun! Darren is fresh off experiencing the Packers in person as he went to the Cardinals game in Arizona and he has takes, so does Sterling except he didn't go to that game he just went to the bar where he told everyone he knew a guy at the game (Darren)... I mean what a week of sports!!!! It was so awesome that Darren and Sterling had to wear suits and go strictly business on this strictly business episode of Backseat Quarterbacks we talk about the classic Mahomes game we saw on Sunday night, the entirety of the NFL slate beforehand, all the baseball stuff happening and MORE! At the end of week 6 we will be 33% through the regular season and we still don't know who is really the cream of the crop??? We debate it but we don't know it just yet! I say this too much but what a weekend of sports what a time to be alive while we have so much to consume and to cherish. We are all alive at the same time as Drake Maye! We start with that, then get into the rest of week 5, before going into some other sport stuff (BASEBALL)!
What more can you ask for sports galore! NFL is in the full swing of things we start with discussion on the ravens impending doom of their injury report, is it possible to start 1-5 and make the playoffs because that is where they are looking to be at. Can Drake Maye make Sterling proud and upset the Bills on SNF? Can the Eagles complete a 4th quarter pass (does it matter)? So much more! PLUS Red Sox Yankees talk all pod long (Recorded Tuesday night after Crochet's masterclass and put out Thursday morning before the deciding game 3!!!!)
What a weekend in sports: an instant classic Ryder Cup, baseball to decide the playoffs, college football galore, and the grand daddy of them all; NFL FOOTBALL. I think I walked a total of 200 steps all weekend. This weekend will go down in history, and it was capped by a dramatic TIE between Dallas and Green Bay. Sports are awesome

After last weeks amazing week of gambling, picks, and everything else the boys came back down to earth with a truly miserable Sunday, capped by an equally as miserable sunday night football game. Sterling's Patriots turned it over 5 times but he still as some hope key word SOME. Darren's Packers lost to the Browns due to a blocked kick (one of about one hundred throughout the day!). We have thoughts about it all!
We recorded these takes two times so these are even better the second time... sadly Greg's audio was shot and we ended up having to go without our 3rd but we have his picks and we have his takes! We got some great matchups as seen in the title but even more than that some amazing betting opportunities. Week 2 has came and went (besides the double header tomorrow woooooo) and wow what a sunday it was. We have learned a lot in the young season, we have learned that the Bengals don't care about protecting their franchise QB, we have learned that the fountain of youth lasted one week for Aaron Rodgers, we learned that the Cowboys don't have any intention to play defense but they can score at any moment thanks to the golden leg of Aubrey, what else?? Is this thing on? Darren and Sterling go over the entire offseason that has taken place since the Super Bowl between KC and Philly. Coaching changes, free agency, the draft, and the SCHEDULE: (The Lions and Chiefs have a gauntlet, the Patriots should win 10 games minimum...don't let me down Drake Maye)...Oh and of course we talk about some non-football things like Sterling almost losing it all at the horse track, almost losing his life due to his appendix going the way of the dodo, and Darren picking up new hobbies!We felt the need to record this because it's been too long, lots of things have happened, and we wanted to take Sterling's mind off of basketball after the Jayson Tatum injury.Enjoy!
