Jack threw together a little trivia game for Derrick and Whitney, quizzing us on past episodes using the worst reviews of various episodes that he could find on Letterboxd and IMDb. See if we can remember what we even watched and have some laughs together on this trip down memory lane! Immediately following the trivia, we have a special clip show including unused stingers, favorite jokes, and Jack's special edition of the ramblings of a madman!Get a lot more from Worse People Productions, including ad-free main feed episodes, at patreon.com/worsepeopleFind our exclusive merch in our new webstore at shop.badmoviesworsepeople.com

While wandering around in full red-and-white gear, he stumbles into a local orphanage threatened by an over-the-top villain, becoming its unlikely protector. Hogan charges through the trouble with holiday spirit, accidental heroism, and the kind of confidence only someone who forgot who they are can truly possess.Get a lot more from Worse People Productions, including ad-free main feed episodes, at patreon.com/worsepeople and it is 50% off until the end of the year!Find our exclusive merch in our new webstore at shop.badmoviesworsepeople.com

We wanted to give you a taste of Latchkey Vids, our TV recap show where we discuss forgotten or never-known television shows from the 1990s. This episode of Latchkey Vids was a very special presentation. Taking a short break from Cop Rock, WE bring you this forgotten British sitcom that only ever aired one time, HEIL HONEY, I'M HOME! That's right, it's a Hitler sitcom. Hitler and Eva Braun are living a very modest existence next door to their Jewish neighbors, the Goldensteins. The British Prime Minister, Neville Chamberlain, is coming to visit, and Adolf wants to ensure it goes off without a hitch, which, of course, it doesn't.

When those rules are broken, the Mogwai multiply and transform into a horde of gleefully destructive gremlins who treat Billy’s small town like their personal theme park of chaos. What starts as a cozy Christmas gift quickly turns into a battle against tiny, cackling agents of mayhem, forcing Billy and his friends to outsmart creatures wreaking havoc in Pennsylvania.
In this final episode of The Book of Boba Fett, “In the Name of Honor,” the Pyke Syndicate wages war on Boba Fett’s forces in Mos Espa, but Boba’s got backup: Din Djarin, the Mods, Black Krrsantan, and a very dramatic rancor entrance. There’s blaster fire, explosions, and a showdown with Cad Bane that ends with Boba proving old-school Tusken skills still work best. And just when things look grim, Grogu shows up to tame a rampaging rancor like it’s a sleepy puppy. The Pykes are ultimately driven out, solidifying Boba’s control over the city and bringing the conflict to an end.Get a lot more from Worse People Productions, including these Han Took Shots First episodes early and ad-free, at patreon.com/worsepeopleFind our exclusive merch in our new webstore at shop.badmoviesworsepeople.com

Get Mental Health episodes like this and much more! It's our season break, so we're unlocking some formerly Patreon-only content for all of you lovely folks out there to hopefully entice you to join us on the dark side. This is just a little taste of all the great content you can get at patreon.com/worsepeople!It took Whitney and Derrick a year to convince Jack to see this movie, and once he did, he was hooked. VIOLENT NIGHT is a Christmas action comedy starring David Harbour and John Leguizamo. David Harbour plays Santa Claus, who used to be a Viking, apparently, and he has to save a little girl and her family from a group of terrorists led by John Leguizamo, who take them hostage. It's violent (duh), bloody, and hilarious, and we're talking all about it!
In this episode, the second of The Mandalorian’s unofficial season 2.5, Din Djarin visits Grogu, and accidentally walks in on Jedi daycare run by Luke Skywalker and Ahsoka Tano. He ultimately decides not to interrupt the youngling’s path while Luke and Ahsoka Tano discuss Grogu’s future. While Grogu is busy leveling up in frog levitation, trouble brews back on Tatooine. Cad Bane saunters into the newly christened Freetown like a dusty gunslinger, encountering Cobb Vanth and warning the town to stay out of the coming war. The confrontation ends with Cad Bane shooting Vanth, escalating tensions before the showdown with the Pyke Syndicate.Get a lot more from Worse People Productions, including these Han Took Shots First episodes early and ad-free, at patreon.com/worsepeopleFind our exclusive merch in our new webstore at shop.badmoviesworsepeople.com
This supersized episode, celebrating our 3rd anniversary, revisits our second-ever episode as we discuss Cool as Ice! It follows Johnny, a mysteriously chill biker played by Vanilla Ice, whose strangely cinephile-related wardrobe alone could cause seizures. When his crew gets stranded in a small town, Johnny zeroes in on honor-student Kathy, whose life is about as rebellious as vanilla ice cream. Chaos, romance, and a lot of early-’90s fashion choices ensue as Johnny tries to win her over and help her family out of trouble, proving that sometimes the coolest thing you can do is show up, perform a guerrilla-style rap show, and say “lose the zero and get with the hero” with complete sincerity. We go way off the rails, but hey, it's a party, folks!Get a lot more from Worse People Productions, including ad-free main feed episodes, at patreon.com/worsepeopleFind our exclusive merch in our new webstore at shop.badmoviesworsepeople.com
We're kicking off season 2.5 of The Mandalorian smack dab in the middle of The Book of Boba Fett with Chapter 5: The Return of the Mandalorian! Chapter 5 of The Book of Boba Fett, “Return of the Mandalorian,” could easily be retitled “Meanwhile, in Din Djarin’s Show…” because Boba takes the week off. After completing a bounty, he reunites with the Armorer and learns more about the Darksaber but is exiled from his covert for removing his helmet, and then trades in his old ship for a souped-up starfighter with a surprisingly nice paint job. Finally, Fennec Shand recruits him to aid Boba Fett in the upcoming conflict against the Pyke Syndicate.Get a lot more from Worse People Productions, including these Han Took Shots First episodes early and ad-free, at patreon.com/worsepeopleFind our exclusive merch in our new webstore at shop.badmoviesworsepeople.com
Derrick's love for bad Lifetime movies and Eric Roberts has been well-documented, and this one is the third entry in the gloriously unhinged Lifetime thriller series starring Eric Roberts as the disturbingly charming Dr. Albert Beck. After narrowly escaping justice yet again, Beck becomes the target of his former victim Sophie, who sets out to expose and humiliate him. But the doctor isn’t one to take humiliation lying down, and soon the tables turn in a wild cycle of gaslighting, obsession, and melodrama. It’s a campy, twisted cat-and-mouse tale where revenge and romance collide, plus we get Dr. Beck going completely off the rails with hallucinations of himself as a laid-back island partier.Get a lot more from Worse People Productions, including ad-free main feed episodes, at patreon.com/worsepeopleFind our exclusive merch in our new webstore at shop.badmoviesworsepeople.com
In this episode, Boba rescues Fennec Shand after her near-fatal injury and has her saved by a mod surgeon. Together, they infiltrate Jabba’s Palace in the least subtle heist ever. After some kitchen droid chaos and a Sarlacc pit rematch to attempt to retrieve his armor, he forms a lasting alliance with Fennec, marking the beginning of their partnership to take control of Mos Espa.Get a lot more from Worse People Productions, including these Han Took Shots First episodes early and ad-free, at patreon.com/worsepeopleFind our exclusive merch in our new webstore at shop.badmoviesworsepeople.com
Ep 179: Tiger Claws

Ep 179: Tiger Claws

2025-11-1701:37:36

You knew you weren't getting out of Derrick's 40th birthday month without a Cynthia Rothrock film, and this one is a doozie. Tiger Claws is a martial arts action film starring Rothrock and Jalal Merhi as cops investigating a string of brutal murders in which victims are killed with a deadly tiger-style kung fu technique. Their hunt leads them to a mysterious martial arts master (played by the great and terrifying Bolo Yeung), whose deadly skills and mystical beliefs blur the line between training and killing. Packed with cheesy dialogue, 90s cop-movie grit, and plenty of high kicks, this one is going to be a blast.Get a lot more from Worse People Productions, including ad-free main feed episodes, at patreon.com/worsepeopleFind our exclusive merch in our new webstore at shop.badmoviesworsepeople.com
In Chapter 3 of The Book of Boba Fett, Boba deals with unrest in Mos Espa, recruiting a gang of cyberpunk teens with shiny scooters, wrestling Black Krrsantan in his pajamas, and watching the Hutts bail out of the power struggle faster than they arrived, gifting Boba a rancor as a peace offering. Meanwhile, tensions rise with the Pyke Syndicate, hinting at a coming war.Get a lot more from Worse People Productions, including these Han Took Shots First episodes early and ad-free, at patreon.com/worsepeopleFind our exclusive merch in our new webstore at shop.badmoviesworsepeople.com
Ep 178: Dead End Drive-In

Ep 178: Dead End Drive-In

2025-11-1001:18:44

This week, we get into Derrick's love for Ozsploitation filmmaking with an Australian dystopian action film where society has gone off the rails... and so have the cars. A young man named Crabs takes his girlfriend to a drive-in movie, only to discover it’s actually a government-run prison camp for the unemployed and outcasts. Trapped behind electrified fences, surrounded by junk cars, junk food, and junk culture, Crabs plots his escape while everyone else seems weirdly content to stay. It’s part Mad Max, part social satire, and all 1980s neon apocalypse.Get a lot more from Worse People Productions, including ad-free main feed episodes, at patreon.com/worsepeopleFind our exclusive merch in our new webstore at shop.badmoviesworsepeople.com
In "The Tribes of Tattooine", the best episode of The Book of Boba Fett, our hero gets an uninvited visit from a pair of Hutts who want his throne and they even bring their Wookiee muscle, Black Krrsantan, for extra intimidation points. Meanwhile, in his Tusken flashbacks, Boba graduates to full tribe member after pulling off a slick train heist against the Pyke Syndicate and teaching the Tuskens to fight for themselves. He forges his own gaffi stick, joins a Raider dance party and is initiated into their culture, marking his full acceptance into the tribe.Get a lot more from Worse People Productions, including these Han Took Shots First episodes early and ad-free, at patreon.com/worsepeopleFind our exclusive merch in our new webstore at shop.badmoviesworsepeople.com
Ep 177: Red Rock West

Ep 177: Red Rock West

2025-11-0301:19:06

It's Derrick's 40th birthday this month, so we're getting into some of his favorite genres and we kick it off this week with a lo-fi crime caper, Red Rock West! This neo-noir thriller stars Nicolas Cage as a down-on-his-luck drifter who stumbles into a small Wyoming town and is mistaken for a hitman hired to kill a local woman, played by Lara Flynn Boyle of Twin Peaks. Seizing the chance for easy money, he takes the cash but soon finds himself entangled in a web of deceit, murder, and double-crosses, especially when the real hitman (Dennis Hopper) shows up. What starts as a lucky break turns into a deadly chase across the desert where everyone’s lying, and no one’s getting out clean.Get a lot more from Worse People Productions, including ad-free main feed episodes, at patreon.com/worsepeopleFind our exclusive merch in our new webstore at shop.badmoviesworsepeople.com
After a week off, we dive into the much-maligned Book of Boba Fett, which kicks off with Boba climbing out of the Sarlacc pit, only to be robbed by Jawas and enslaved by Tusken Raiders. Through flashbacks, we see his slow rise from half-dead bounty hunter to survivor earning the Tuskens’ respect. In the present, Boba tries to establish himself as Tatooine’s new crime boss, taking over Jabba’s old territory with Fennec Shand at his side. This is a series that we look forward to discussing, as it isn't the universally loved and top-notch show that The Mandalorian was.Get a lot more from Worse People Productions, including these Han Took Shots First episodes early and ad-free, at patreon.com/worsepeopleFind our exclusive merch in our new webstore at shop.badmoviesworsepeople.com
Ep 176: Leprechaun 3 w Vern

Ep 176: Leprechaun 3 w Vern

2025-10-2701:42:26

Leprechaun 3 finds Warwick Davis's iconic character in Las Vegas, where greed, luck, and neon excess are the perfect playground for his murderous mischief. When a pawn shop owner unleashes him, the Leprechaun goes on a rhyming, pun-filled rampage through casinos, leaving bodies in his wake as gamblers and grifters chase after his magical coin. Along the way, a college kid who picks up the coin starts turning into a leprechaun himself, adding a bizarre twist to the chaos. It’s gory, goofy, and gleefully campy.Get a lot more from Worse People Productions, including ad-free main feed episodes, at patreon.com/worsepeopleFind our exclusive merch in our new webstore at shop.badmoviesworsepeople.com
