Bad Science Fiction Read Poorly

Join us for science fiction stories, based on randomly generated prompts, written in a four-hour deadline, and read at first glance. Much Science Fiction writing recently has been limited tropes, and many authors are afraid to write about new ideas.  We want to encourage authors to be more speculative and imaginative in their writing and create a safe low-pressure environment to get experimental.   Bad Science Fiction Read Poorly is not to encourage bad writing, but to manage expectations. Each story is a swing for the fence. Some are a homerun, and others might fail spectacularly.
