This is part 1 of a 3 part series where my dear friend Ashlyn is sharing with us what Gods Word says about the origins of demonization. “Psalms 120-134. These were sung by the Jewish people as they would travel up to Mt Zion. They are songs for "going up." David wrote 4 of them, and Solomon wrote one. Solomon's is the very middle one, and the rest are paired (2 of David's on one side and 2 od his on the other side of Solomon's). These ultimately point us to the presence of God and His dwelling place... Jesus came to dwell among us (John 1:14), and at the end of our earthly pilgrimage, we will see the reality of Rev 21:1-4 (the dwelling place of God is now with man. Please honor me now before the elders of my people and before Israel. Come back with me so I can bow in worship to the LORD your God.’ 1 Samuel 15 /////// “Whenever you see “LORD” in the Old Testament, the Scripture is using His covenantal name of Yahweh. If you read “Lord,” it is a more generic Adonai. God has given us His name because He wants us to know Him personally. And within His name, we remember that He is not the God who was or hopefully, one day will be, He is I AM.”////Exodus 15:11
