In this episode, John shares that as followers of Christ and Battle Prayer Warriors we must be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Paul prayed for the Colossians in chapter one that they would be strengthened with might in their inner man. In Philippians 4:13, Paul said, “I can do all things through Christ, who strengtheneth me”. He understood that he needed to be strengthened by Christ. If you're going to be a Battle Prayer Warrior you’re going to have to be strong, strong in the grace, strong in the faith, strong in longsuffering, joyfulness and patience. In this episode, John shares that as followers of Christ and Battle Prayer Warriors one thing that can shake our faith is the contrary conditions that arise against us as we are following Jesus. The Bible says that by His stripes we are healed, but we are experiencing symptoms in our body. The Bible says He will supply our needs, but an unexpected bill came in the mail. Why are there so many contradictions while walking in faith? Because we live in a fallen world and Satan is against us. But those trials can only make us stronger as we decide to fully trust what God has said in His Word, regardless of what the circumstances may look like. In this episode, John shares that as followers of Christ and Battle Prayer Warriors we can not live in un forgiveness and try to work faith at the same time, because faith only works in the atmosphere of love. Where there is no forgiveness, there is no love.It is many times difficult to forgive when we feel pain, but the secret is to look to Jesus. When He was on the cross He was in pain, but He still forgave, “Father, forgive them”. We also need to raise champion children, and one way we can do that is not to only brag about the external attributes, but to affirm their inner character. Your children are your first disciples.
