It's not about what you do once every now and then: It's about what you do on a daily basis thats going to make the most change, give you the most success and make you the most happy.Ā  Consistency over perfection every single day.Ā  Is what you are doing on a daily basis line up with where you want to be? Take a look and work out a new plan going forward, it does not have to be extreme. Small steps win the race.Ā  There is no better feeling than being focused and clear on your goals and where you are heading. No matter what you want to achieve in life; whether that be a personal or professional goal, the key is to remain consistent. You may have heard ā€œconsistency is keyā€ but this couldn’t be more true. I realised how important consistency was when I wrote down my goals and the action steps I needed to take for all of them was to be CONSISTENT in that action. Today I am joined by an awe inspiring guest Melanie Green. Melanie was diagnosed with breast cancer a week after her 48th birthday. She started writing a blog to process all my emotions during my treatment, which then evolved into But Seriously, Who Knew? She is now retired, at the age of 52, and travelling the world as much as possible with her husband, whilst continuing to write - so maybe not retired after all! We discuss: - Life during and after cancer - Biggest lessons learnt after surviving cancer: the appreciation of the little things, taking risks… saying yes more! Feminine vs masculine energy… In todays society, a lot of women are acting too much out of their masculine energy and leaning too little into their feminine energy. I come across a lot of women who have a wounded feminine energy and it is important this is healed. I have provided affirmations you can write down and repeat to yourself daily in the mirror. I don’t believe in New Year’s resolutions. I believe in continuous self improvement through out the year. You don’t need one time in the year to recreate yourself and set yourself unrealistic goals that you’ll feel bad about once you haven’t achieved. Start smaller, start with a list of things you’re bringing into the new year, and a list of things you will leave behind. Do this if you WANT to. Don’t feel pressured by anyone to feel like you need to change if you’re already happy. Here are some of the things I’m bringing into 2023, hopefully I’ve inspired you in some ways to do more of what feels good for you :) Happy new year! Evie xx
This year has been extremely hard for me. Loss is something I find really challenging and it’s something I find hard to process and deal with. It makes me emotional making this. There’s been lots of ups in 2022 but also many downs. If you suffered loss their year, you are allowed to grieve in your own way. If you need time out, that’s okay. It comes to you randomly in waves, I can relate. I’m still struggling with this and feeling lonely at times but being real on here is something I always want to do. Life isn’t unicorns and rainbows, it’s hard as fuck at times and very testing. I remind myself a lot: ā€œI can do hard thingsā€ and it gets me through.
Have you ever sat down with your journal and wrote down a list of the things that bring you joy and a list of things that zap your energy? No? Ok well let’s do it together today šŸŒ™šŸ¤ This task allowed me to gain clarity on what lights me up and what brings me down. Having a simple list like this to refer back to when overwhelmed or stuck can be a great nudge in the right direction! Trust me when I say it is so so so possible for your life to turn around. Ā  I was living a life where my deep inner purpose was not being met and for years I felt so unaligned, lost, confused, upset and the list goes on. I decided enough was enough and I actually needed to take action and do something radical. Ā  I did something I’d never done before and radically worked on my personal relationship and those around me. Ā  I put me first and took the jump of starting my own business. Ā  Ive come out on the other side of this and I’ve never felt more energetically aligned. I now work full time as a mindset coach helping other women live their TRUE PURPOSE and feel fucking amazing about it. - TOP TIP: doing things before I felt ready has catapulted my personal and business growth. My mind always catches up with the action I take. Even it is is scary at the time. As humans, our minds are always trying to keep us SAFE. But it’s okay to tell yourself that ā€œthanks for trying to protect me, but got this oneā€ Ā  Journal prompts: What do I desire? Where in my life have I been holding back from taking action in pursuit of what I desire? Where am I playing safe in my life? How can I expand myself and do things I felt fear around in the past? How can I catapult myself into my goals and success?
