A work trip to southern Louisiana forced Brent to break a promise he’d made to himself many years ago. After his experiences during the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina in 2005, he’d never thought of returning as a tourist. A recent fishing trip helped turn a broken promise into a journey of healing and rediscovery. This one’s a little different but the message has never been more important. It’s the first big hunt of Arkansas’s fall season for Brent and the bear camp faithful. They’re struggling with dry conditions, dropping acorns, and the Arkansas heat that just won’t go away. They managed to “scratch a few out” as Brent would say, but the biggest trophy carried home had nothing to do with a bear. Any way to cover / discuss the Creeks that went to FL and fought for US? I'm thinking of Billy Bowlegs and what happened to their families back in AL in contrast to the deal with US govt

I'd somehow missed this episode about ken's reward. after listening to the render where it was mentioned, I went back, downloaded it again, and registered paying much closer attention. Loved it. This country life is by far my favourite podcast, and I look forward to it coming out every Friday.

don't get what is the big deal. Solidly half of the GWoT veterans that I know have refused to wear underwear (due to chaffing from body salt + environmental sand so fine called "moon dust"). I haven't worn any since 2006 myself. A little hygiene goes a long way if ya catch my drift... Puked or not (well played Clay!) under roos don't matter but fresh socks do! choose accordingly.

Hello I was engaged to suspect #1 at the time of this raid. The NWTF had a video that they played on TV about the operation red bud. I had a vcr tape but I have no idea where it is after all of these years. I seen Claude this past weekend and he told me about his Podcast with you. It brought back a lot of memories.
