Resilient Rebels: The Power of Pioneering Ideas

The Power of Pioneering Ideas is a podcast that celebrates having independent thought that builds community and connects with others while planting a seed for change. I challenge conventional thinking and forge my path, which has sometimes become a way of life even when I don't mean to. If I see a need, I naturally want to fill it. The need I saw was one of my own and one in my community. Being new and starting life over, I repeatedly questioned myself on who I was to step into this role of leading and bringing change to an area I was still familiar with.A lot of people questioned the same. I dove in and went for it anyways. Because I realized that not all conversation in every pocket is the same, most of which created a divide because, at its core, the outward messaging was! "Better Together" or "Build Back Better" "Let's Be Great Again"..... Oh, the tag lines with no substance or action to back them up. There are a lot of opinions, a lot of fighting, and ALOT of separation and division. How overwhelming! No wonder it is easier to say, nope... I'll be over here....But, over there is not where change happens; collaboration occurs, and innovation develops. Over there is not where a pioneer thrives...I share my story of overcoming obstacles, navigating resistance, and making a meaningful impact in building community through a FB group and real life.It is essential to understand that it will sometimes come with friction or discontent when you do anything different. Still, if we remain in the place of discomfort long enough, we naturally will either seek a way to run from it or seek a way to overcome it so it doesn't rechallenge us. That is how we grow and make an impact even better!Lean into your pioneering ideas.... Go against the grain and plant the seeds in the soil you turn....You never know what will grow from it. Whether it's around you or within you.Stay tuned for our youtube channel that is underway! Soon we will have audio and video. Community & Collaboration Over Competition

We have shared so many stories about overcoming the chaos but, how do we build something with impact while avoiding the chaos all together? That is always a hard question and if I am being honest, I am not sure chaos can be avoided sometimes. I will say that over the years I have learned a few core pillars that I have developed to help me create and build a better foundation which helps at least weather the chaos or on occasion avoid it all together. Community & Collaboration is a unique way to build better connections which is my 3rd pillar in everything I do. When we focus on these things, the competition because non existent because you aren't worried about what is happening outside of you, you are instead focusing on cultivating what is happening inside of you and in your circle of influence that can make an impact in a much bigger way. Now, don't get me wrong, competition is healthy. It often pushes you to show up and improve upon yourself or your business. I have just seen better results and dividends when I turned that competition to the woman I look at in the mirror. How can she be better than who she was a year ago? What can she improve upon or learn from within herself? When you begin to do this work, you begin to get results! So, let's dig in and control the chaos with a foundation that will help us see it through.

Pivot or Pause? The Choice Can Change Everything

I am the Pivot queen. Not always because I wanted to be. In business you have to know when to assess a situation, learn from past experiences, and propel yourself into the future. What used to take me years to do and learn, became a matter of survival in the instant moments I had to just make a decision and JUMP.On this episode, I kind of just jumped into this story in all honesty and at the same time, as I tell it back I realized how many times I truly did have to push through the chaos and make it out on the other side with what was maybe not exactly beauty...sometimes it was just a hot mess still trying to get through. My story and journey as an entrepreneur has come with trials on trials. Much of which came with my multiple degrees I have earned from the school of Hard Knocks. One day I may go back and become a professor there. Lord knows I have earned my PHD.I am going to take a break from interviewing other women so I can just get on the mic and share some things.. Some in real time, some in stories of the past.. But, I think it is time.. I have ALOT to say and at first I didn't think I could fill 45 min. But, now?... As I am repeatedly in this chaotic cycle... I think I need to get some things off my chest so, I can step into the next PIVOT I am currently contemplating. Can't wait to have it unfold through these episodes. It's Not About Where You're From; It's About Where You Are Going

Amee is a great example of not adhering to where life may start you out. Whether your story comes from humble beginnings or a place of abundance, we all deserve a seat at the table. We love to sit at the table with women that have stories about not being defined by where they came from but, where they are going. Thank you Amee for sharing your journey that is a true inspiration for women no matter where they are in life. We can truly overcome anything and go after our dreams.Bio:Amee Rose is an inspiring example of adversity overcome, with hard work and dedication to her craft. She didn't start out with any advantages - growing up in a rough community, facing the struggles of having parents with addictions, and becoming a teen mom were all significant hurdles she managed to survive. However, she was far from alone, her grandmother providing her with the care and patience needed to continually push forward despite these difficulties. Having her significant other provide additional support soon allowed Rose to delve deeper into the beauty industry, becoming a master brow specialist and further advancing into providing quality services in a medspa. Now, as an aspiring entrepreneur at the beginning of her journey but already planning on expanding her business further, Rose has made it clear that anything is possible if one is willing to persistently strive for success - a message that should not only be admired but shared across generations.
