But we readily admit that we haven't even scratched the surface of what all Disney has to offer. It could be because we spend so much time at EPCOT. Don't let anyone tell you different. EPCOT is for adults. But I digress. We definitely do not take advantage of Disney Springs. Our introduction to The Edison is proof of that. We were able to attend the 2nd Annual Bartender's Bash at The Edison and it was so much fun. As they say, "There are no bartenders here. Only mixologists." That is an understatement. The Bartender's Bash is where eight of Central Florida’s top mixologists compete with their handcrafted cocktails. Guests are able to sample and vote while indulging in perfectly paired bites prepared by The Edison. There's live entertainment and a silent auction with proceeds going to Give Kids the World Village. We did something a little different with this live show. We decided to keep the background noise. We're not sure how we feel about it. Lady T, who is usually camera ready with great pictures was totally off of her game. However, we still enjoyed ourselves. Hopefully, you enjoy the show. Kentucky’s bourbon and whiskey industry is in a downturn with several distilleries shrinking its workforce and closing a barrel-making plant in Louisville, Kentucky. The future of the reportedly billion-dollar, Black-owned whiskey brand, Uncle Nearest, is in receivership and facing the possibility of being totally taken over.

Hip-Hops Hooray!, was the first hip-hop beer festival in the Midwest. It took place on October 25 & 26, 2024. The Festival featured over 25 national, regional, and local craft beer brands, including several Black-owned breweries. There was also MCing, DJing, breakdancing, graffiti. We were able to talk to most of the breweries that were at the festival. We also were able to talk with Woodie Bonds, co-founder of Vine Street Brewing Co. and founder of Hip-Hops Hooray. Shout out to Rabbit Hole, Brough Brothers, Copper and Kings, Peerless, Oxmoor, and Angel's Envy for showing us mad love. We are going to share one of our favorite whiskey drinks which is an old fashion.  Most people make an old fashion like this. Ingredients: 1 1/2 oz Bourbon or Rye whiskey, 1 Sugar cube, 2 dashes Angostura bitters, Few dashes plain water Preparation: Place sugar cube in old fashioned glass and saturate with bitters, add a dash of plain water. Muddle until dissolved. Fill the glass with ice cubes and add whiskey. Garnish with orange slice, and a cocktail cherry. Served: On the rocks; poured over ice Standard garnish: Cocktail cherry, Orange slice Drinkware: Old Fashioned glass Base spirit: Whiskey  However, this is how we like our old fashioned like this. Ingredients: 1 1/2 oz Bourbon or Rye whiskey, 1/2 oz Bittermilk Bourbon Barrel Aged Old Fashioned Mix Preparation: Pour in the whiskey. Add the Bittermilk mix. Stir. Put in a round or square ice cube. Garnish with orange slice, and a Maraschino cherry. Served: On the rocks; poured over ice Standard garnish: Maraschino cherry, Orange slice Drinkware: Old Fashioned glass Base spirit: Whiskey

I am BT aka O-Beer-Wan Kenobi the Jedi Knight of craft beer and (this is Lady T.) These damn hurricanes are putting a hurting on the southeastern part of the United States. We recorded this episode only a few hours after the eye of Hurricane Milton went directly over our house. As veterans of many hurricanes, we can sat that if you sit around waiting for something to happen, you are going to go crazy. You are powerless. So, most people try to be as normal as possible while going through these things. All you can do is pray that you have the least amount of damage that you can have. Our home did not have any major damage. This episode is dedicated to those who are suffering from the damages of Hurricane Helene and Milton. There are several fundraisers for some of those breweries and organizations that have Go Fund Me pages. They really need your help. New Origin Brewing was completely destroyed along with Wedge Brewery at Foundation , Zillicoah Beer Company and even plēb urban winery. Please visit their websites and donate toward their recovery efforts. The beer for this episode is from Burial Brewing. It is The Stillness of a Personal Hell. It is an 8.5% ABV. It’s a medium body with a creamy mouthfeel with a nice crisp finish for an imperial IPA. Nice smell of strawberry and watermelon. The taste of orange, strawberries, candied lemon, and watermelon. It has a light bitter finish. However, the dank of the hops is still there. Beer Is Fundamental is dedicated to all of you who love craft beer. The Beer Is Fundamental Show once again arrived in Pittsburgh to attend the Barrel and Flow Festival. This is one of our favorite festivals. There is so much to experience at this festival. It is almost hard to explain. So, we'll let the show speak for itself.

The Beer Is Fundamental Show was at the Against All Odds Beer Fest hosted by Hourglass Brewing at their Longwood, Florida location. Obeer-Wan Kenobi had to hold it down by himself.
