On this episode of Beers & Band-Aides, we will discuss a little of who we are and what to expect in future episodes. Drew gives a small taste and perspective on EMS education as a whole in a short but riveting rant. We will discuss the management and treatment strategy for Congestive Heart Failure and PVD. This segment will be geared toward the student, new and or inexperienced paramedic or EMT. We will discuss how you should carry your self and how to treat people no matter how you feel about them. How doing the right thing sometimes means to stay on the scene a little longer than expected as to not move your patient who may or may not be in a lethal rhythm using your 12 lead for verification.       Oh ya! and the complete omittance of waveform capnography for CHF form Drew because he forgot to mention it. It is used often and for most, if not all respiratory, neuro, and cardiac patients who have been in respiratory distress, intubated, and cardiac arrest both pre and post-ROSC. Still learning how to Podcast I guess. So enjoy a cold one and sit back and enjoy the show. Drop me a line about show ideas, questions, comments and maybe even show topics you would like seen discussed and of course if there is a beer you enjoy please feel free to send that on over as well.
